How to get a MEW:
-----------------
This cheat works better just when you start the game from the very beginning:

Do not fight the Youngster with the Slowpoke in level 17 near Nugget Bridge 
(Celurean city) and do no fight the Gambler in front of the underground path 
that takes you from Celadon city to Lavender Town and Vice-versa. You need a 
Pokémon who knows fly, too.

Go to Celadon city, and then to the underground path (SAVE YOUR GAME BEFORE ENTER!!!) 
and when you get out, near Lavender Town area, take one step down and press START 
almost inmediatly, if you made it well, the gambler shouldn't see you, even if you 
are in the area that in normal cases he WILL see you.

Fly to Celurean city. Just a moment before the Pokémon take you, the ! above the 
gambler will appear. When you are in Celurean city, you will notice that the A, B, 
and START buttons won't work. Go past the NUGGET BRIDGE and fight the Youngster with 
the Slowpoke (WARNING: GO ABOVE HIM, IN A WAY THAT HE WILL COME TO YOU. 
IF HE NOTICES YOU AND YOU ARE NEXT TO HIM, THE GAME WILL CRASH AND YOU NEED TO 
RESTART ---BEFORE--- YOU ENTERED THE UNDERGROUND PATH!!!). When you beat him, the
 buttons will work again. 

Fly to Lavender Town. Now go to the left (not to the fishing bridge!) and before 
entering the route, the MENU will pop-up. Press START and you will engage a wild 
Pokémon. You will realize that the wild Pokémon in MEW. MEW is in lv. 7 and he'll 
attack you only with POUND. After you catch him (or beat him, thing that i don't 
recommend you, because MEW is UNIQUE.) You can save normally.

I strongly recommend you to have Pokémon between level 7 to 13 or a Scyther that 
knows FALSE SWIPE (an attack that ALWAYS let's the foe with 1 HP), because you're 
going to faint him, he needs to be catched with a Great or Ultra Ball, and when i 
catched him, he had 2 HP left!!! Like a legendary Pokémon, even SLEEPY he will get 
out of a BALL.

"MissingNo" City:
-----------------
You need the HM SURF, the HM FLY, and the HM CUT.

Go to Fuschia city, and then to Safari Zone (to get in, use cut). Pay the 500 P to get 
into the Safari Zone. Walk some steps and then go back. When the guy says "leaving so 
soon?" answer no. Repeat it, and then SAVE the game (inside Safari Zone). Turn OFF the 
Game Boy and then Turn it ON. Get out and the guy will ask you if you want to pay 500 
p to enter the Safari Zone (!?) Answer NO and get out.

Without moving, FLY to CINNABAR ISLAND. Go to the water path next to the gym and use 
SURF. Use half steps in the water; some on land, and then the final ones in the water. 
A message will pop-up and the P.A will say that the SAFARI GAME is over (???????). 
You will be next to the SAFARI ZONE guy, Saying that if you had a good hunt (?!?). 
Get out and you will be in a WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIRD city, all the sprites will 
be in that city and if you collide with a solid object you will get stuck. If you want 
to get out, FLY anywhere else. (NOTE: IF THE MESSAGE POP-UPS IN THE LAND, WHEN YOU GET 
OUT OF THE SAFARI ZONE IS GOING TO BE LIKE IF YOU GOT OUT OF CINNABAR'S POKÉMART).

I call it "MissingNo City" because some people says that the Pokévirus MissingNo 
(see further) created this, and hid it in this procedure. I guess it's just a test 
"room" that the programmers left, in a way to try all the sprites and objects in Pokémon. 
I think they never thought that the player even can access to it :). The numbers in the 
top of the screen it's just "pieces" of hexadecimal codes.



Multiply objects and get MissingNo, and High-leveled Pokémon:

You need at least, SURF; but i recommend you that you should have FLY, too.

Go to Viridian city and talk to the old man that in the beginning of the game blocked you 
the way. Talk to him and when he asks you "are you in a hurry?" or something like that, 
answer "no". He will teach you how to catch Pokémons. Then go to Fuschia city, and then 
SURF to CINNABAR islands. Near the shore, in the right, you will see the Virus Pokémon 
MissingNo in level 0, 80, or 147 (!!) if you catch him, beat him, or run away, the sixth 
item on your bag will multiply to 127. (WARNING: THERE'S ANOTHER MISSINGNO: 
THE ONE THAT BY NAME JUST HAVE HIS NAME TRANSLATED TO HEXADECIMAL CODE: IF YOU 
CATCH HIM 
YOU'LL WRECK THE GAME AND DESTROY IT TOTALLY FOREVER, YOU WILL GET TRAPPED IN 
MISSINGNO 
CITY!!!). If you don't have luck catching, you can catch Weezing or Muk in level 147, 
and these ones are tough, seriously.


I'm argentinian so some of my pokémon games are in spanish: I will explain in which 
versions will work each cheat:

MEW: ALL

TEST CITY ("MISSINGNO" :D): SOURCES SAY THAT THIS DOESN'T WORK IN GERMAN, BUT IT 
WORKS 
IN JAPANESE AND ENGLISH VERSIONS AT LEAST.

MISSINGNO: IT DOESN'T WORK IN SPANISH, BUT, YOU CAN PASS MISSINGNO WITH THE GAME 
LINK.
