Select Go To Special Edition, make sure Play Special Edition is highlighted (red) and ... 
Type on the remote (not to fast): 82997 as you type the words: The Future Is Not 
Set appear in yellow on the right hand site, where the symbols where. 
Then select Play Extended Special Edition. 

Special message from John Connor:
--------------------------------- 
While on disk 2, bring up the main menu. Move the arrow button until "Data Hub" 
is highlighted blue. After 30 seconds, the little box in the lower left hand will 
activate, with either the message "join the resistance" or an odd looking energy circle. 
Press left until the border is lit up and hit enter. If "Join the resistance" is 
present, it will take you to a special screen with a text message from John Connor 
and a web link that will take you to a "training site" where you can hone your 
resistance skills. 
If the energy circle is present, it will bring up a short 20 or so second commercial 
showing a bust of Beethoven (or Mozart) with sound waves going in his left ear, 
followed by the right side of his face blowing off, revealing a Terminator (T-800) 
face underneath. It will say "Swelltone-in one ear and out the other". Pressing 
"DVD Menu" on the DVD remote control while "Information Systems" is lit up can also 
activate this short commercial. 

Japanese trailers:

On disk 2, in the trailers and teasers section, press down to highlight the bottom 
trailer, then left arrow to highlight a small green rectangle in the lower left 
corner. Select and you will get access to five Japanese trailers. The sound effects 
for crashes and explosions have been dubbed and they sound like explosions from old 
Godzilla movies.
