Add/Hack/Cheat Ascendancy Runes to your character to upgrade items to Replace
an item with a unique or set item of the same item type .
Modifies Save game. May destroy your save file!
-=How to Add/Hack/Cheat Ascendancy Runes to your character=-
Before you start, open your game, go into the game with you character and empty
their personal stash, as in, just the stuff they are carrying in their inventory.
This is so you don’t delete and item you want to keep.
-=Open your save game from=-
x:\Users\***\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch\Saves
* It can be opened with notepad.
* Look for lines like this;
{“itemData”:””,”data”:[0,10,2,2,193,180,100,255,2,16,23,146,0,9,252,0],”inventoryPosition”:
{“x”:0,”y”:0},”quantity”:1,”containerID”:4,”formatVersion”:2},{“itemData”:””,”data”:
[0,19,0,3,71,217,211,5,3,32,72,92,0,38,191,0,8,179,0],”inventoryPosition”:{“x”:0,”y”:0},
”quantity”:1,”containerID”:5,”formatVersion”:2},
When you find them, and it’s not hard to see them copy the following line.
{“itemData”:””,”data”:[1,102,5],”inventoryPosition”:{“x”:0,”y”:7},
”quantity”:200,”containerID”:1,”formatVersion”:2},
Paste that line into your save game in front of one of the “item” lines you have already.
Save the file, load the game, load your character and they will have 200 Ascendancy Runes.
If you change the number after quantity, you can have more or fewer.
Use them to maybe get the legendary you were looking for.
Just remember, it’s cheating, can break your save game and everyone hates a cheater.
Backup your save game before faffing about too.
Tips to Survive:
----------------
If you start dying but you feel like you have decent gear and it will take a
while to upgrade, this is the moment to go crafting and make every piece of gear
you wear a little bit better, it’ll help a lot until your next gear upgrade.
More generally, don’t dismiss armor and HP, especially HP will avoid you a lot of
unnecessary one shots from elites/boss.
Armor over 50% isn’t so hard with gear alone, all resistances over 50% kinda hard
but still doable with crafting. And of course adequate cap resistance (75%) against
bosses.
Ward I don’t really recommand unless you have a really good piece of gear that has
it or passive skills that improve it. I would take armor/HP over ward any day.
And belts that give more potions are a really good quality of life if you don’t have
a lot of health regen/drain life. I have a belt that gives me 16 potions it changed
my life.
Finally, I suggest you don’t dismiss defensive passive skills. It’s very tempting to
put all the points in offensive skills because everything synergizes well with your
build, but 2 or 3 defensive skills maxed out can really make a difference, especially
for HP because I find it kinda hard to find gear with good amount of HP on it, but a
passive skill can easily give you 100-150 hp when maxed out with other benefits (armor,
regen, etc).
The alternate route is, put everything in offensive power + HP (to avoid one shots) +
drain life, ignore the rest. High risk high reward.
