Basic Guide to Beat Game On Normal:
-----------------------------------
Written by hackstermatrix
Tips from someone who beat the game
Finally beat the game after 7 hrs, this is my guide.
* Focus on survival: This is the biggest thing. No matter how strong
your build is, one mistake will end your run.
* As stated above, focus on picking the lesser of two evils rather than
the stronger of two upgrades.
* Firepower never hurts, even if it gives you a higher spread, being able
to kill the king, or a strong threat quickly will increase success.
* Remember to use your souls for escapes.
* Assassination seems to be the wisest strategy as you are guaranteed to
get overwhelmed in later floors if you don’t kill the king quick enough.
* Think about tempo, anything that saves you a turn is helpful and anything
that costs you a turn is harmful.
Not a fan of the sniper/scope for this reason.
* Grenade is trash.
* Some upgrades do not stack.
Forbidden Card Pairs Guide:
---------------------------
Written by Alan
Having trouble getting certain achievements?
Theocracy never showing up? It’s not just bad RNG.
-=Intro=-
Have you struggled to get the Theocracy card? Have the Trigger Happy
and Mobility achievements eluded you? Well, there might be a reason
for that.
Certain cards are mutually exclusive with one another, so if you
have one, none of the others will show up.
-=Theocracy Cards=-
The following cards are mutually exclusive with Theocracy:
* Ritual Dagger.
* Secret Heir.
* Note that Ritual Dagger and Secret Heir are not mutually exclusive with
each other. Having either one will prevent Theocracy from appearing, but
will not prevent the other from appearing.
-=Right Click Cards=-
The following cards are mutually exclusive with each other, because their
trigger (right-click) would conflict:
* Royal Loafers.
* Unjust Decree.
* Kingly Alms.
* Engraved Scope.
If you’ve struggled to draw Royal Loafers for Mobility, Unjust Decree for
Trigger Happy, Kingly Alms for Demolition, or Engraved Scope for Sniper,
this might be why.

How to Reload Better:
---------------------
Created by Himsl Games YT
Have you ever wondered when you regenerate a bullet?
It’s when you are neither attacking nor reloading.
That’s right, it’s not based on some kind of hidden timer. The way you
generate ammo is by not reloading. Sadly you can’t stop the king from
reloading when he has just one bullet, and thereby failing to generate
more ammo. The trick is to not shoot for a few turns, and never let the
ammo get so low that your king will reload a single bullet.
Red Gem doubles the amount of bullets you regenerate, making it harder to
fall into the reloading one bullet at a time trap. But it still only
generates bullets under the same circumstances … when you aren’t attacking
or reloading.
Small Fry and Ammo depot are good cause they award you ammo while shooting.
Wand of Frenzy and Secret Mission are great, because they reload your ammo
and give you full ammo, so you can save yourself with those. Also Secret
mission seems to be the only way to regen grenades.
Anything that allows you to get extra turns give you a chance to reload or
regen a bullet, if you don’t attack, so that’s additional ways to load your
guns. Reload your gun while performing a taunting hop, it’s very useful.
