If you haven't played the previous Godfather game then its worth reading the
instructions and taking note of the in game tutorial in the game pause menu. I
am playing the game on the PC so the controls will be different than the
console. You'll have to work out the equivalent by reading the manual. I
don't intend on rehashing the manual.
This is meant to be a guide and a walkthrough. I will put the guide at the
start of the document and the walkthrough at the end. You may need to refer
back to the guide for more information when going through the walkthrough.

Dominic is the main character in the game. He can be upgraded relatively
quickly using the money you have collected. I have listed his key facts below:
- If you get killed you will be sent to the hospital and this will cost you a
small amount of money.
- Falls will not kill Dominic no matter how high he falls!
- He has a few unique skills that your crew do not have.
- Weapons can only be upgraded if you find better weapons.
- Money is only spend on skills for yourself or your Crew member.

- The 0/X indicates the number of advances in the skill that are available.
- The cost goes up each level of skill
I would recommend updating the intimidation first because it’s useful to spot
the breaking point of people running rackets and fronts. If you get all the
cash from stashes around New York you'll have $10,000 to spend early on
(see later).
IMPORTANT!
If you're interested in getting all the different collectables you can upgrade
your neck snap option and still achieve the garrotte and neck snap executions.
You'll get them both for your first garrotte kill.

2.2 - Intimidation And Extortion
===============================
Each front and racket has an owner running it. Each owner has a different
weak point you can exploit to get more money from them. When you try and
take over a racket you will notice two markers on a persons intimidation bar.
The first shows the point they will give in the second the point they will
fight back. If you find their weak point use this against them to get more
money.
Your extortion fee is a one off payment and you get this each time you take
over a front or racket. If you lose a front or racket then you can get the
money again when you retake it. Remember to use the weakness again to maximise
the profit.

Some mobsters can be hired into your family or crew. This section details the
available crew members and where to find them.

The Crew members skills are split into 4 areas:

All the Crew members in the game have the same basic statistics that can be
upgraded. They are listed in the table below.

These skills are all fairly self explanatory. I would suggest that you don't
upgrade these skills unless you going to keep the crew member long term. Why,
because they cost a lot to do so and as you progress to new cities better
crew members become available. The only way to get rid of a crew member in
your family is to kill them.

3.1.2 - Skill
=============
Every crew member has at least 1 skill to begin with, some have more! When you
promote henchman in your family they can gain an additional skill. Skills
they have may include:
- Medic
- Demolitions
- Arsonist
- Brawler
- Safecracker
- Engineer
You can decide what good combinations are. I like Engineer and Demolitions.
=======================
3.1.3 - Weapons License
=======================
The other important skill that a henchman has is their weapons ability.
Each crew member has a weapons license from basic to master. The big con is
this skill can only be upgrade by competing online. If you have this on the
360 and are like me then you won't have access to play online. Luckily I have
a PC so can play it for free.
If you have the choice between two Crew member, always choose the one with the
best weapons licence.

3.1.4 - Personality
===================
This doesn't seem to have any effect on the game other than the comments your
crew makes when they're with you. Some crew members don't have a personality
trait.

3.2 - Crew members Available
============================
Crew members can be recruited into your gang at no cost. However once
recruited, you have to kill them in order to get rid of them to replace them
with new, better crew members.
Most crew members only have a single skill, but the lone wolves have 2 or more
skills to begin with.
It is possible to use a limited crew. When I played through I had two crew
members and defeat Tony Rosato and Ganados families fairly easily. If you wait
then you can recruit the better crew members later and save money on upgrading
them.
The remainder of this section will list the crew members that can be found and
their skills. Remember that that the lone wolves will not be found around
your rackets and fronts! I've listed all the guys I have found but there may
be more.
I don't have the statistics for the Tommy Cipolla because I didn't pre-order.

turn right (east) and keep walking. He can be found hanging around the tables

Note that the casino's have their safes behind locked doors that need to be
blown. Police will turn up when you rob these.

4.4.4 - Execution Styles
========================
To get the executions you need to know a few things:
- The kneeling and standing are for your opponent. So if you shoot them in the
knees they'll drop to the kneeling position. You can then run up to them
with the appropriate weapon, press F to get the execution.
- Similarly to do the bare handed kills standing and kneeling, shoot them in
the knee first. Although in most fights they usually end up on there knees
anyway. Remember that SPACE will pick them to there feet when you grab them.
- I find that all of the weapon kills can be done on the lone guard who patrols
La Maison Rouge.
- The bottle can be throw at a guard with full health and it will kill him.
Environment
-----------
1) High Fall Kills - Go to the construction site where Norman Rossi is (Capo
in the Rosato family). On the first steps is a guard,
just run up to him, grab him, push him towards the rail
and press W to throw him over.
2) Low Fall Kills - Go to the empire room and use the window in the entrance.
3) Table Slam - Get 90 sideways on to a table or counter. Grab a guard
and press the A or D to slam them.
4) Wall Slam - Get them up against a wall and keep pressing W to slam
them.
5) Road Rage - Just run someone down

1) Headshot - just shoot someone in the head and kill them
2) Kneecap - Just shoot anyone in the knees
3) Disarms - This is tricky because you end up killing them most
of the time. try the tommy gun and try to avoid
their head.

There are several money and weapons stashes scattered around the cities. This
section lists those I have found and where they are. They're probably only
worth finding for the cash because you can restock all your guns at various
buildings on the map.
New York
--------
Each stash has $1000 and several guns to pick up.
Total: 9
1) Go out the front gate of the Corleone compound. Turn left then take the
first left after the bridge.
2) Take the back exit from the Corleone compound. Go left past Cylde Lando's
hideout. keep going until you can turn left under the road. Follow the
alley to the left and it’s in the corner near Clyde.
3) Find the graveyard in the north of the city. Go out the southern entrance,
then go east. The stash is down the stairs in the corner near the wall.
4) North of the hospital is a warehouse. Go inside the gate and down the
alleyway to the right. The stash is under the first set of stairs.
5) Behind the safe house in the alleyway. Exit left from the safe house and
turn left into the alley and left again.
6) On the west side of the alley behind a fence.
7) On the roof of the middle of the third building to the east of Sanico Dump
& Disposal.
8) South east corner between La Maison Rouge and the statue. In the area
where Jimmy Guidalatto is near some "Sani Pottis".
9) Climb the ladder under the bill board advert to the north of the Empire
Room.
10) Inside the Corleone compound behind the hedge near the out building in the
south west corner
11) In building site, lower section near the door to where Vincenzo is being

The game is fairly linear in that you need to complete given missions to
progress the game story. However, you do have the choices of sub missions
which will earn you money or favours. The walkthrough will detail the story
missions only.

You begin the game in Cuba. It’s new years eve 1958, the head of the families
are in a meeting with Hyman Roth.
1) Watch the Cutscene - you'll meet all the heads of the families here!
2) Talk to Michael Corleone, he'll ask you to speak with Aldo

New Objective: Talk to Aldo Trapani downstairs
**********************************************
3) Head down the stairs to the lobby and You'll spot Aldo, he's got the
godfather symbol above his head. Go speak with him. You'll have some
choices you can make and it doesn't matter what you choose to do.
4) An announcement will be made and your next objective is triggered

New Objective: Escort Michael and Fredo out of the hotel
********************************************************
5) Head back towards the stairs where you entered the lobby and the exit into
the kitchen is now open. Go into the kitchen. You'll be given the basics
in fighting (punching and grabbing)
6) Kill the soldier with punches then kill the next soldier who bursts through
the door in the same way.
7) Head outside to trigger the next objective.

New Objective: Escort Michael and Fredo to the airport

8) The mob will break open the gate marked on the map, go through it and tap
SPACE to bring out a pistol. You have infinite ammo, so don't worry about
your bullets! Follow the map to the next checkpoint, killing any rebels you
encounter.
9) Duck behind the barrier and kill the army guys.
10 ) Head to the next checkpoint bridge and take out the guy controlling the
bridge.
11) Go across the bridge, kill some more soldiers and then head towards the
next green checkpoint.
12) A cutscene will trigger and you'll escape the island. Michael will make
you a Don.

Go into the back room and prepare to intimidate the boss. His weak point is

12) You'll get two new objectives now

13) The Rosato family will probably start attacking your businesses now so its
worth getting all the businesses back you lose and take over all the other

next objective.

15) You need to meet up with Frank and Michael at the safe house on the map.
You can now use this anytime you are being chased by the cops to remove

16) Go inside and speak with Michael. You'll discuss making a hit on one of
Carmines made men. He'll ask you to go and speak with Frank.

18) You aim now is to look for people who will offer information or cash for

etc. The first favour, and only favour you can do, is marked on the map.

19) Follow the map and speak to the guy. He'll ask you beat up his dad. Head
to the point on the map and beat the dad up until the favour success
appears.

the other guys family if you wish. However, there is a phone ring and if
you answer it you'll get the next objective.
21) carmine wants a truce so meet him at the bar.

22) Carmine will try to kill you. You need to escape over the rooftops to your
safe house.

27) If you want to, you can enlist another soldier. You probably won't need
to. Its up to you. make sure you have your explosives guy with you on
this final mission. Michael will also give you 3 rapid recovery favours.
28) Head to the point marked on the map to trigger the next objective.

New Objective: Destroy Carmine Rosatos compound
***********************************************
29) You'll need you demolitions man and a safecracker to rob the safe is handy.
Make sure he's in the crew then enter the compound. There are two doors
to the main compound building, the front door is open, or you can blow the
side door. Once the shooting starts then you might as well wait for them
to come out of the front. Take out the sniper on the roof then enter the
front door. Make your way upstairs and kill the few remaining guards.
Grab the MAGNUM .44 LEVEL 2 upgrade.
You'll find the Don who you can talk to if you want. You can kill him
anyway you like. This is a good time to use some dynamite because Carmine
won't run away and it gets you an execution style. Open the safe and then
rig a bomb. You then have 30 seconds to get put of the building. Don't
forget to call you crew to follow with V otherwise your demolitions guy
will die in the building. You'll get a $10,000 bonus for eliminating the
Carmine family. You then need to get to a phone for the next objective.

30) You'll speak to Hyman Roth who will ask you to go to Florida. before
going make sure all your businesses are protected because they can and will
be attacked when you move to the next city. Probably a good time to do
some jobs and upgrade your best henchman, probably Alvin Uzzano because
he's the only soldier who has two skills.

31) Speak to the women at the airport and its off to Florida.

FLORIDA

1) Your first task on arrival in Florida is to meet with Hyman Roth. Speak
with Fredo and then get the car and drive to his house marked on the map.
2) Speak with Roth.

New objective: rescue Roth’s associate from the Granados kidnappers
*******************************************************************
3) Head to the place on the map. when you get there you'll find a garrotte on
the chair at the bottom of the stairs. Go into walk , crouch and climb the
steps to the roof. The garrotte allows you to do stealth kills from the
back by sneaking up onto people, grabbing them and holding SPACE. Kill the
first guy stealthily. Another guard will come around the corner. Kill him.
There are two more guards around the corner by the steps, kill these guys to.
Pick up the SILENCED PISTOL (LEVEL 2) by the steps and climb to the top.
Shot the guy holding the associate hostage. A headshot will take him out.
Be quick you only have 10 seconds. Talk to the hostage afterwards to get
the next objective.

3) Hyman will ask you to meet him at his beach house. Head to the place

I chose engineer so I have all the skills except brawler in my two crew
members.

out businesses several times before you capture 1 crime ring. You then get

Note: If you are trying, like me, to avoid killing any innocents if you go

police will arrive. They will eventually kill him.

6) You need to sneak out your room, downstairs and kill the lone guard.
If you get spotted by any guards you have 15 seconds to kill them otherwise
you will fail the mission
7) Then head to the left and kill the lone guard around the corner.
8) Go to the end of the hallway and kill another lone guard.
9) Follow the hall to another lone guard reliving himself. Kill him.
10) Kill the other two guards before the timer runs out.
11) Go up the stairs and to the right. Kill the lone guard.
12) Get the sniper rifle and shoot Casto when he appears.
13) Watch the cutscene, you then get all your weapons back. You need to kill
the guards and make your way to the point marked on the map. When you get
outside you'll receive a new objective
