Fifth difficulty level:

Successfully complete all challenges listed in Challenge mode from any two zones 
to unlock the fifth difficulty level.

99 overall player:
------------------
Use the following trick to get your player up to 99 overall a lot faster. Before 
you start, make sure that the player you want to upgrade is your arena player.

1. Save enough points to buy all the experience packs in the shop. 
   This should not take too long.
2. Once you have enough, save it onto a second personal settings as well as 
   your first.
3. Buy all the experience packs in the shop, and save as normal. 
   It should save to personal settings 2 and your squads.
4. Use all the experience points on your chosen player.
5. Save the game as normal.
6. Load personal settings 1.
7. Save it to personal settings 2 again.
8. The experience packs should now be available in the shop again, and you 
   should have your points back.
9. Buy them again and save as normal. It should save to personal settings 2 
   and squads as before.
10. Use all the packs on your player again.
11. Save as normal.
12. Repeat steps 6 through 11 to keep increasing your player's stats until he 
    reaches 99 overall.
13. Once your player is 99 overall, save and load personal settings 1.
14. Save it to personal settings 2.
15. Load personal settings 1 again.

Your chosen player will have 99 overall, you will still have all the points you 
had before to spend on whatever desired, and have personal settings 2 to use in 
case you want to do this again.

I did experience some crashing when trying to edit created players that had 
been transfered into a team, so I always edited them as Free Agents... but it 
could just be my XBox crapping itself??

Anyways...

Play FIFA 2008 enough to earn 16,0000 points - should not take long to achieve this.

1. Turn OFF Auto-Save from within Profile Manager.

2. Go to the Fan Shop and buy all the Creation Boost Packs for the Creation Zone. 
Do not buy anything else yet. Save your Personal Settings 1 when you are prompted. 
Your current Personal Settings should have all the Creation Boost Packs and 10,000 points 
remaining.

3. Make a backup of your current Personal Settings. Go to My FIFA | Save/Load/Delete | Save
Name it "Personal Settings backup", just in case you F it up.

4. Load Personal Settings 1. Go to My FIFA | Save/Load/Delete | Load | Personal Settings 1

5. Create your player (cannot be Goalkeeper)

6. Save your SQUAD 1 when prompted

7. Transfer your created player to any team.

8. Make your created player as the Active player in the Arena.

9. Transfer your created player back to a Free Agent.

10. Go to the Fan shop and buy all the Arena Player "EXP PACKS"

DO NOT SAVE YOUR PERSONAL SETTINGS 1 WHEN PROMPTED!
DO NOT SAVE YOUR PERSONAL SETTINGS 1 WHEN PROMPTED!
DO NOT SAVE YOUR PERSONAL SETTINGS 1 WHEN PROMPTED!
DO NOT SAVE YOUR PERSONAL SETTINGS 1 WHEN PROMPTED!

Save your SQUAD 1

11. Load Personal Settings 1. Go to My FIFA | Save/Load/Delete | Load | Personal Settings 1. 
You shoulod have all your 10,000 points back and the EXP Packs should be available to buy again.

12. Repeat steps 10 and 11 about 10 times. You can now go into the Creation Zone and edit 
your player, it will be listed under "Created Players". Save your SQUAD 1 when done editing.

Tip: when upgrading your players attributes, press the left D pad and push left on the left 
thumb stick at the same time to speed up the growth.

Never save your Personal Settings but always save your Squad.
