How to Drain Fluids:

This guide shows how to drain fluids. For most of you, this is probably 
obvious. However, I struggled with this a bit in the beginning so I 
decided to make this little guide.

-=Oil=-
* Raise the car on the car lift.
* Click on the oil drain and click 'move -> to car lift'.
* Click on the oil drain again and click 'use'.
* Oil will now be flowing.
* Once it stops, click on the oil drain again and click 'move -> move back'.

-=Other Fluids=-
* Make sure the car is lowered.
* Open the hood.
* Left click to work on the part you want to drain.
* Right click on the cap.
* Left click on 'Additional Tools'.
* Left click on 'Drain Tool'.
* You are now in drain mode. Simply hold left click on the cap of the fluid 
  you want to drain.
* To exit this mode, either press 'escape' or press right click and then press 
  'Switch to part unmount mode'.

Don't you like the music, that comes from the radio? 
You wished, you could add your favourite songs?

You can! And it's very simple.

-=How to=-
Go to your Steam folder and follow this path:

Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021_Data\
StreamingAssets\Music\User

And add your songs there.
In "Car Mechanic Simulator 2018" you had to put .ogg data in the game folder. 
But not with the 2021 Version! I mean, you still can, but why using .ogg data 
if you can use .mp3, right?!

How to Make Easy XP and Money:

* Go to the junkyard and search overall in the junk for barnfind maps.
* Per junkyard spawn spawns 1 map in the junk. read the map and spawn to the barn.
* Yhen you must search a loot crate in the storages of the barn. only 1 spawn per barn.
* At least you only must open the crate. xp, money, junk, new barnfinds and 
  lootcrates can be found in the crates.

-=How to Make Easy Money (Electric Car DLC Needed)=-
* Go to the Junkyard and search an 2006 Atom Renton and buy it.
* Make a full restauration.
* Best with tuning parts.
* Full 100% car gives over 80k credits.
* The best is, the car haven't much parts and the restauration is easy.




How to Access to 99 Barns (Save Editing):

You want to visit the rare barns, but don’t have a treasure map for the barn? 
No problem, I’ll show you how to visit the barn as often as you want.

-=Preparation=-
* Open "File Explorer" from taskbar or "This PC" from desktop
* Click on "View" in upper taskbar
* Set a checkmark to "Hidden Items"

-=Make backup=-
* Go to this folder:
* x:\Users\[yourname]\AppData\LocalLow\Red Dot Games\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\Save
* Note: Change [yourname] to the name of your windows account to get to the destination!
* Stop! Make a copy of your savegame (that file you see)!

-=Change file=-
* Open the .cms21-file with Notepad:
  -if you use the first profile, open profile0
  -if you use the second profile, open profile1 (and so on)
* Search for: BarnsAmount
* Change the number behind that entry to 99 for example.
* Save the textfile and now you have access to 99 barns in the game!




Quick Money:

Just a quick guide on flipping junk cars quick. This is a great way to bang out 
the Achievements “Gambler, Scavenger, Trader.” You’ll need the upgrade “Welder” 
and Car Wash. Optional upgrades that increase the amount of money you’ll get/reduce
money spent are Regular Customer 1-3, Good Judgement, Body Repair Station, and 
Renovator 6.

Simply go to either the Junkyard or the Auction (junk cars). Repair or replace any 
body parts and windows, use the welder to fix the frame, and use the Interior Detailing 
kit. Don’t bother replacing any parts or engines, these are quick flips.

Painting the car does not increase its sell value. 
Washing the exterior of the car does not increase its sell value.

You should be able to quickly flip cars for between 5-15k profit doing this. Have 
some cash saved up before doing this. Not much, at least 20k just to start. The 
vehicles from the junkyard/scrap auction should only cost between 2k-10k. Welding 
costs a flat 500, washing is free, and repairing is much cheaper than buying new 
parts. New parts overall shouldn’t cost more than 2k.

If you do the Barn, you’re looking at a full rebuild, which takes forever. 
Barn cars routinely cost 20k+, and can even cost more than the’re worth as a flip.




How to Remove Cars from Order List:

* Open up the folder of any car you want to remove i.e Bolt Cape would be Cars\BoltCape.
* Open up the "config.txt" files.
* Remove "Orders=Xnumber," from the AllowPlaces= (you’ll see it).
* Repeat this for any additional config files such as "config1.txt" etc. as these are car variants.
* Enjoy your new orders listing.




Guide to Skip the Intro Splash Videos:

* Just press Esc three times as the game starts.
* You’ll be at the main menu in no time.
* Easy peasy!

If you’re like me and think that’s just too much work, and you’re willing to do a little 
extra work every now and again so you can avoid those three keypresses the rest of the 
time, then read on…

-=The Harder (But Still Pretty Easy) Way=-
Previously, in Car Mechanic Simulator 2018, all you needed to do to skip the intro splash 
videos was delete the three video files from your Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 installation 
folder.

For Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, those files have been hidden away in Unity Asset Resource 
files, making them a little more difficult to track down.

Fortunately, they’re no more difficult to deal with once you know where they are!

Step 1: Find your Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 installation folder
* In your Steam Library, right-click Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 and select “Manage” 
  and “Browse Local Files”.
* Open the folder “Car Mechanic Simulator 2021_Data”.

Step 2: Locate the following three files
* sharedassets1.resource
* sharedassets2.resource
* sharedassets3.resource

Step 3: Rename or delete those three files
* The neat thing is that each of these files contains one of the three intro splash videos, 
  and nothing else, so deleting them doesn’t create a problem for any other game content.
* Personally, I like renaming them something like sharedassets1.resource.bak, just to keep 
  the original file intact if I need it, but it shouldn’t be a problem to simply delete them,
  especially since Steam can (and will) redownload the files for you.
Note: Do NOT delete or rename the files ending in *.assets (e.g., sharedassets1.assets), only 
the files ending in *.resource.
