Rapid Fire Guide:
-----------------
Written by Jyoohan

Quick tips and tricks to get you blazing through that champion wave.

-=Rapid Fire=-
If you're just starting, don't worry about beating higher level waves. Focus
on stocking up on space cubes to buy permanent upgrades. Note these upgrades
can be refunded so freely choose what you may need.

Captains, whichever captain you're using, max out their weapon to level 3 to
give you early advantage. (For example, I start with Azurene's plasma and
plan on acquiring Corrosia's slime and Raven's missiles. So I have these three
captain's weapons on level 3.)

Planet upgrades, having the gold planet unlocked helps to level up faster by
staying within the radius and the gold vault pick ups.

Focus on trying to get the super version of weapons as soon as possible! So
try to focus on one weapon at a time. The time cube shop helps immensely. I
would re-roll the time cube shop to get the weapons upgraded faster.

Pay attention to the timers for gold, time cubes, and space cubes! Pick them
up as soon as possible to reduce down time. But do be careful when the waves
start getting thick.

Best weapons to survive the later tougher waves are Corrosia's slime and Ram's
boxing gloves. Corrosia's slime slowing down anybody trying to tap your butt,
and Ram's boxing gloves knocking any fools out of your face. Would also create
a swirl with Corrosia's slime to create layers of slow when the waves get
especially thick and spicy near the end. Note, you do NOT need Ram in your
crew slot, just his boxing gloves are enough. Would rather have super plasma
and definitely super missiles than super boxing gloves.

For DPS, my personal preference are Azurene and the newly introduced Raven,
but I don't think it's too important... I think... Also the Power Ups upgrade
to increase weapon damage, critical chance, and critical damage obviously
helps to clear the mobs faster.

Space cube chance and space cube from elite power ups will help stock up on
space cubes faster to get more upgrades unlocked!

And that's basically what I've done to defeat the champion wave! Hope this
was helpful.

Personally I would keep Raven and Corrosia's weapon level 3 so I can add them
as crew mates with already powerful weapons ready to go.

6 Ways to get XP Efficiently:
-----------------------------
Written by FoundCrab

This guide will show you how to get xp more efficiently.

-=Introduction=-
Have you ever been killed by enemies cause you don't have enough health or don't
deal enough damage? Well that's probably because you're not earning enough xp.
But of course there are ways to earn a lot more xp.

-=1# Gold Bugs=-
These semi-enemies seem like they're there just to annoy you cause they steal xp,
but that's not the truth. As a matter of fact, they're actually vaults. What they
do is collect xp and multiplies it, that being said, we don't know how much it
multiplies the xp. But what we do know is that it multiplies it more than 1.0x.
When killing the gold bug, it drops all of the money it collected.
So when should you kill it? You should kill it while the first boss is active
or after the first boss, kill it too early and you barely make any xp.

-=2# Upgrading Powerups=-
Upgrading Powerups isn't the best way to get more xp, since you need a lot of
Space Cubes in order to make a noticeable difference when getting xp. Upgrading
Gold Powerups should be done only after you upgraded the Captain Powerups
(You dont have to upgrade all of them).

There are 3 Gold Powerups.
- Gold Find: Get more xp/gold when picking them up
  (Possibly the best gold upgrade)
- Asteroid Gold: Get more xp/gold from asteroids
  (A mid upgrade)
- SS Gold Bug Vault: Increases the vault's pickup multiplier
  (The best gold upgrade)

The powerups you should upgrade are Gold Find and SS Gold Bug Vault. Asteroid
Gold is kinda mid, since asteroids don't give a lot of gold to begin with. And
also another thing with Space Cubes, there is no point upgrading planets. Maybe
you can upgrade their first powerups, but their later powerups are not needed to
upgraded.

-=3# Enemy Swarms=-
Enemy Swarms can give you a ton of xp/gold, they're incredibly good in early
game. Enemy Swarms as i like to call them, are when ships surround you after a
certain amount of waves, the first ones spawning at wave 5.

- Red ships are incredibly weak in terms of defense. They've got low health and
spawn mostly in large groups which is why they're so good for earning xp/gold.

- White ships on the other hand are better in terms of defense. They're the stronger
versions of the red ships, meaning they're harder to farm for xp/gold, but they
still give the same amount as the red ships.

-=4# Asteroids=-
This is one of the least efficient ways of earning xp/gold, Why? First, asteroids
drop a little amount of gold. Second, they're pointless after the first boss or
second boss. But they are still good at giving xp at very early game.

-=5# Bosses=-
This is pretty self explanatory, you get xp once you kill the bosses. You don't
get a lot xp from them, but atleast you get space cubes so you can use that to
upgrade powerups.

-=6# Planet/Gold Refinary=-
This is again, one of the least effective ways to earn xp. Well, atleast when it's
not upgraded. If it's fully upgraded, it can make a difference, but it isn't much.
You can stay in the planet's zone and get slightly more gold and collect the vault
from the refinary it offers once in a while.

-=End=-
This guide will change when more info is available, but since a wiki doesn't exist
yet, all info is from playing the game.

Don’t Move Challenge Tips:
--------------------------
You can avoid the entire problem with the ranged enemies by running Vermillion’s
Fireball. This skill allows you to shoot the projectiles and avoid damage from
them entirely. Make sure to LMB to shoot them.

Rosanova’s ability stops tough ships from being able to swarm you, the pushback
is absurdly good. You can also hold down the button to fire at bosses, try not
to use it anywhere else or your nova won’t work.

Super Plasma Planet is a great option as it will help quite a bit with defeating
bosses. It also deals nice damage to the tough swarming ships and the elites.

That’s the general engine for this. I like to add in shield synergy from TeslAl
crew but use Rosanova’s weapon (you don’t need the super or the crew for her nova
do cleanly clear this).

When you get this completed, you get a passive that allows you to get Doc as crew
without needing to buy the upgrade while the game is going.

Super Plasma Planet helps a lot with destroying boss quickly. Also if you run
shield synergies you can tank a lot of damage with the shields even with terrible
RNG.

Kat Boss Rush:
--------------
I was able to beat it first try with the following (there may be more optimal
builds but this seemed quite sensible given the very close range fighting of all
the bosses on screen).

Doc, Vermillion, Raven (Stay Near Super Plasma Planet as Much as Possible)

* Super Static Field (Prioritize)
* Super Rockets
* Super Katanas
* Maxed / Overclocked Super Plasma Planet
* Maxed Boxing Gloves
* Maxed Shields / Shield Recharge
* Maxed Hull

** Vermillion was chosen for extra hull + stationary shield recharge (and not
her fireballs which I didn’t end up using)…although Ram may have been a better
choice as he also gives +110 hull plus specializes in Boxing Gloves…but doesn’t
have the shield recharge.
