Guide for end game and tips on getting the last achievements which are the
more complicated ones. I decided to make this since I didn't find much info
anywhere so hopefully it helps others like me.
-=Tips for last boss: Incarnation (Challenge difficulty)=-
This boss is extremely important to beat since the weapon it drops (Excalibur)
will help you in a few of the achievements. For those that may find this fight
too difficult you can try a few things.
For those that have not finished the Unknown island stage.
* Buy summon potions. In each zone there are vendors that sell potions that
can summon a "friend" to help you fight. The friend is basically the boss you
fight in that zone. You can buy which ever you want but remember that the
earlier the zone, the weaker the friend potion will be. get about 5-6 of these
potions to help you distract the boss while you attack from behind or to
give you a chance to heal. Be aware the boss has AOE's so be ready to doge. I
suggest using the Memory of the Dread Hunter since its the next to last boss
and will last more hits.
* Carry lots of star fish and shrimp. Before you enter the final boss stage
there's a vendor that sells Star fish and Star shrimp. These are both great
healing items and provide good buffs. Don't be afraid to spend some money there.
* Use the Titan Axe. You can use whichever weapon you want. I prefer the Titan
Axe since it also provides good defense. Its range is also very good and can
keep you a few steps away from the boss at all times. (Really helpful when he
starts doing the ground pound attack. You can still hit him while at a safe
distance.) Also, don't forget to scream while attacking.
* Don't forget the Anti gravity boots. These can be really helpful when the
boss starts filling the stage with black holes.
Otherwise, just get a ranged voice activated weapon and spend the next hour
screaming while running away. May be tedious but will get the job done.
For those that finished the Unknown island stage and beat the Rift Demon
Guard.
Beat the Demon Guard in challenge difficulty and you will get Cabbage's Boxing
Gloves.
They give a 5% chance for each hit to insta kill and provide good stat bonuses.
I also recommend a fast weapon to proc the effect faster. These gloves are also
very important for gold farming. Depending on your luck you may one shot the
boss or end up taking a few minutes to proc the effect. Either way, these gloves
trivialize the fight.
-=Unknown Island Boss Guide=-
After beating the final boss Incarnation in any difficulty.
Once you spawn on the island open the map and try to collect all the chests
(yellow dots on the map).
Look for chest that are outside of the island. Look around the borders of the
map: south, east west and north. You can go through the water and there'll be
small islands with chests that either require you to solve a puzzle or fight a
few waves of enemies. These chest will equip you with the gear necessary to
beat this stage.
Once all chest are collected you should have:
* Pirate armor set
* Chaos Lance
From spawn head north following the left route of the map. At some point you
should reach a vendor and behind him a portal to a boss.
-=Lost Captain Boss=-
This fight is easier with the Chaos Lance, otherwise use the tower behind him
to apply chaos.
Hit him once the fight starts to apply chaos. Once he spawns minions, they
will attack him, keep your distance since he uses some AOE's during this time
to try and kill the minions. Evade and run until his minions kills him. You
may need to re-apply chaos once or twice. You can also deal a bit of damage
using the tower behind him if he's near.
If your lucky, he'll drop the Geometric Progression Dual Blades which stack
up damage the more you hit the enemy uninterrupted. If you're on Challenge
mode, the Lost Lance offers good offensive stats.
Once you have either, head back, open the map and head towards the center
where another boss portal is located.
-=Cursed Captain Boss=-
Once he spawns start attacking. He doesn't move much and most attacks are
done from the same position. After you break his guard and he recovers he will
use a ground slam attack that tracks you (about 3-4 times). Try to evade them
since they deal a lot of damage. Once he stops go back and attack him. If
using Geometric Progression Dual Blades, he should die during this second
attack. Loot drops from this boss aren't necessary apart from the Golden
Dragon Breastplate which he drops in Challenge difficulty.
After defeating the Cursed Captain go back to the portal of the first boss.
Follow the coast east and open your map. You should see a blue dot north
east of the map, head towards it through the water. You'll find an island with
the Rift Demon Guard.
-=Rift Demon Guard Boss=-
Located on an island northeast of the map. Must walk through the water to
reach.
In beginner mode, try to get the Demon Boots and Demon Pauldron since they
offer good defensive stats. He also drops the Rift Emblem.
Beat him on Challenge Mode once for Cabbage's Boxing Gloves.
The Rift Demon has very few attack moves and you only really need to watch
out for one. He will swing his blade about four times and do a ground pound
that will summon energy blades around you. Make sure to evade these since
they hit hard. Stack up damage until you break his guard. Rinse and repeat.
At about half health he'll change his pattern a bit and add new attacks that
also spawns energy blades. Keep doing what you did during the first half and
you should be good.
Once you obtain Cabbage's Boxing Gloves you can instakill anything.
Use the gloves for boss farming.
-=Boss Rush Guide=-
Accessed on Paradise stage at the house behind the vendor.
Gear:
Same as the one recommended for gold farming.
* Excalibur
* Cabbage's Boxing Glove
The rest of your gear can be whatever you want.
Bosses will spawn in order of stages with ~4 minions and 1 elite minion.
It's highly recommended to use gear mentioned above.
Final boss, Incarnation, will spawn with 3 elite minions using move sets
of different bosses:
-Nameless swordsman
-Village Chief
-Loran
After defeating them all the chest in the middle should reward you with an
emblem necessary to buy the Mysterious Stone in Unknown Island.
-=Secret Achievements=-
There are two secret achievements:
The Music Curse
Relieve The Music Curse
* Complete Boss Rush challenge and acquire emblem.
* Collect 5 million gold.
* Head to Unknown Island spawn and buy Mysterious Stone from vendor.
Explorer
Defeat the Guardian Giant
* You can find some giants in the Goblin Tribe stage and the Frost Lands
(Snow map). Use Excalibur.
The rest of the achievements you get by beating all the bosses.
-=Gold Farming=-
One of the secret achievements requires you to collect 5 million gold.
For this I recommend running the Boss Rush.
After you have defeated both Incarnation (Challenge mode) and the Rift
Demon Guard (Challenge Mode).
Gear:
* Excalibur
Can one shot mobs.
* Hunters Helmet
Picks up drops/loot automatically.
* Cabbage's Boxing Gloves
Each attack has a 5% chance to insta kill, bosses included. Offers really
good defensive stats.
The rest of the gear can be whatever you want. I recommend anything that boost
your Defense or HP.
*Offensive stats or effects are unnecessary since you'll be instakilling
everything.
Not necessary but useful:
* Titans Boots
Expands range of Excalibur.
* Anti gravity boots
Ignores black holes. (For final boss only)
* Wolf Tooth potion
Increases attack speed. Can proc glove effects faster.
* Summon potions
If you need to take a break to heal or need a distraction.
-=Gold Guide:=-
Each run gives about 100k + loot drops.
Loot drop value can vary from ~20-70k per run.
It can be more but it really depends if your lucky enough to get the high
value drops.
You'll be making about 150k per run.
Each run can take from a few seconds to 1 or 2 minutes depending on how fast
the instakill procs.
In my experience, most runs take under a minute. In theory, you should have
the 5 million in less than an hour.
*You can also sell crafting material but I did not include them in the total
since their values are too different and the high valued ones do no drop
consistently.
