BEYOND TIME
A Walkthrough

The game starts out with you at a museum in San Francisco where
the curator explains how different artifacts and pieces have been
disappearing from all the museums in the world. He says that at a new
dig in Abydos strange things have been happening there too.
The scene then changes and you find yourself at and abandoned
dig. Look around from the red crate turn around and go through the two
big walls. In the background you can see a big statue. Go to it and
stand in front of it. You are then transported to Egypt in the past.
Look around, click to your left and click on the walk. There a
priestess will appear and tell you about Horus, Iris, Osiris etc. Go
forward and enter the court of Horus.
COURT OF HORUS
Once inside go forward twice, turn left once and then right and
forward once. Now look down. There you will find an electronic device,
which you can't pick-up and an amulet on the left side of the
electronic device. Take the amulet "Eye of Horus" and go to the black
statue, using the amulet click on the chest of the statue. The
priestess appears and tells you that you are on the right path.
Now go back to the place where you found the two objects, and now
you can pick-up the electronic device. Click on the blue button and
hear an Asian man talk about a Romo person, see how he disappears. When
you put it back the priestess appears and tells you that he was sent to
oblivion, she calls them the travelers.
From the place the priestess appeared turn left on the other side
of the columns. There is a hall and in the background you can see an
entrance and what seems to be stairs. Go there and enter the stairwell.
Go up and enter the little room, when you enter the priestess appears
and tells you she is the high priestess to Osiris, Isis and Horus. She
also says to look around for the secrets of the temple. Go to the desk
and read the letter written by Menet to Nefertare. Read the two
scrolls, you can read the Betrayal of Osiris and the Serpents of
Sakkara. Now look up and right above the desk is a small door, in the
middle between the for women paintings, click on it and you'll find a
tablet with a sign that looks like a circle with a small stick on top a
larger on the bottom and two parallel horizontal lines tangent to the
circle, take it. Turn around and click once now turn right and you will
see a table with intertwined serpents and numbers on the ends. It looks
like the picture you saw in the scroll of the Serpents of Sakkara.
SNAKE PUZZLE
It says that all sides are equal. There are twelve discs
numbered from 1 through 12. Three sides and twelve numbers, make it 4
discs per side. If we add all the numbers, 1+2+3...+12= 78. Divide that
by 3, so each side is equal, we get 26. Then each snake has a pair of
discs, which should also be equal so 26/2= 13. So the sum of each side
should be 26 and each pair is 13. So we need six equations that sum 13.
1+12=13, 2+11=13, 3+10=13, 4+9=13, 5+8=13 and 6+7=13. The only thing to
do is by trial and error.
Starting from the top left disc, with the green snake, put the
number 1 there and at the other end 12. The next one down going counter
clockwise put the 11 and at the other end 2. Next one is 8 and at the
other end 5. The last one on that side is 6 and at the other end 7. So
that side should add up to 26, 1+11+8+6=26. Now on the bottom side
starting with the red snake, it should already have a 2. Next one is a
9 and at the other end put the 4. Next one is the 10 and at the other
end put the 3. The next one should already have the 5. By now all the
numbers should be in their place and the drawer should open revealing
an amulet, it is the "Eye of Osiris". Great! Now turn to exit the room
and once outside, that is in the corridor go all the way down to the
other end of the hallway.
COURT OF HORUS
You should be facing some shelves, with five large cubby holes
and three small ones. Click on the middle cubby hole on your right.
Read the scroll. It is the "Ban of Akhenaten", which talks about there
being only one god and his name is Aten. Now turn around click once
forward, turn left and forward and left again. You should be facing
another set of shelves. Go there, there are six large cubbyholes, click
on the second cubbyhole on your left.
It is the "Book of Gates" scroll. This is important. It tells
you how the labyrinth is formed. Amentent is divided into 12 divisions,
corresponding to the hours of the night. The first hours of the night
are 4 outer chambers. Then is the circle of inner mystery.
The first chamber of the first hour is where Anubis lies and the
eye of the beautiful god (Osiris) watches.
In the second chamber of the first hour is the scale of justice.
The greatest shall inform the lesser, the lesser the least and the
greatest and least shall balance.
The third camber of the first hour is where Osiris sets the
heavens. Write down the drawing. Starting from the top is a star, to
its right is a moon, to the moon's left is another moon, to the right
of the moon is a star and to the left of this star is another star.
In the fourth chamber of the first hour there is the famous
coffin that Set made for Osiris in order to betray him. Write down the
hieroglyphics. It is a bird and a leg, a zigzag line with a circle and
a snail underneath, a hawk, a rectangle with a circle in the middle and
a semicircle under it, and eye shape with a snail underneath and a
lying cane under that, an overturned boat and some oars, a square and
circle with a dot in the middle under the square, a zigzag line, a
vertical oval and a vertical line under the oval, a bowl and another
bowl under that one, and overturned boat with a star and a vertical
line under the boat.
The second hours of the night are the four locked gates to
eternity. You must hear the words of power in order to pass.
The third hours of the night are four inner chambers protected by
the guardians of eternity. So take eternity with you so you may pass.
Beyond the guardians is the heart of Amentet, there you will pass the
final test. The guardians are the eye of Osiris and the ankh.
Now turn around and again around, you should be in front of a
chest, open it. Read the piece of parchment found there. It says to
look on the great ones so no secret may escape.
Now turn right and go to the other set of shelves that you can
see in the background. The first set has a series of six large
cubbyholes, click on the upper left cubbyhole. It is the 'Book of the
Dead". It talks about death and where you should go. You must go to the
Hall of Two Truths to be judged. There are four sons of Horus. In the
barque there are the Great Nine and the Little Nine, and 42 gods acting
as assessors, one for each of the 42 districts of Egypt. Your heart
will be weighed with the feather of truth. Turn right and go to the
next set of shelves. There is nothing there you can read so turn
around, click forward once and turn right.
In front of you, you will see a little table and further back a
desk. Go to the little table. Click forward once and then turn right.
The priestess will appear telling you about the dark way and that the
obelisk will guide you. So click forward then left and left again and
left again until you are in front of the little table. Read the piece
of parchment, it tells you about Isis and the words of power in her
mouth. No go a little lower and open the drawer look and write down the
three symbols ( a foot with a hand, a cane with a four and another cane
and a snake on the top, a wolf-like figure with a scepter in form of a
cross). Turn around and go to the desk.
Read the piece of parchment, it tells you to look for knowledge
and wisdom from the gods. Osiris commands the elements. Now look at the
scrolls, the one on your far left is the "Book of Passages". It tells
you that you need the tablets, air, fire, water and earth. You already
have the air. It is the one we found in the wall in the priestess'
room. Then read about the shadow of the obelisk. Then you also need
offerings to cross over. The offerings are a falcon, wheat and a dog.
Now turn left and go forward to the triangular statue. Click on the
bottom rectangle, it opens and reveals the fire tablet. Now turn left
and go around the column on the wall you can see another three figures,
write them down (a man sitting down holding something, a feather with a
snail a bird and some other insect, a wolf-like figure with a crown).
Now turn left and go to the other side of the triangular statue, to
another small table. Click on it so reveal yet another three figures (a
wolf-like figure with a round scepter, a cane with a four and ...well a
lot of figures, and a bird-like figure with a feather on top). Now turn
left and exit the room the same way you came in. Turn right and go all
the way to the wall and turn right, go forward and after the wall look
at the first column. On the column there are anther three figures (a
boat, a bunch of horizontal lines, and the dog-like figure with
nothing). Now turn left and go all the way down to the end of the hall
and on the floor you can see some papers it is another piece of
parchment, which tells you about Osiris the king of Eternity.
Now turn left and go to the main entrance. Exit and walk out.
There is a fountain on our left click on the water and you will receive
the water tablet. Turn right and go to the Green palace that is in
front of you. It is the Isis Chamber. Go up the steps and you see a
mechanism on the right side of the door. It has three figures similar
to the ones we have been collecting. Huh? Wonder if they will work?
Well let's try.
ISIS CHAMBER
The first one is the one we found in the room with the triangular
statue, the one that was inside the small chest. Starting from left to
right, click once, second dial click twice, and on the third dial click
once. If it is right the door will open, go inside. There another
priestess will appear and ask you how many conspirators did it take to
betray Osiris. The answer can be found in the "Betrayal of Osiris"
scroll found in the priestess' room. The answer is 74. Answer correctly
and you will open the first gate. After she disappears a dog statue
will appear, take it and exit the room. Turn around and go back to the
dials.
The second set of symbols will be the ones we found written on
the column. First dial click seven times, second dial leave as is and
third dial click seven times. Go inside and turn slightly left. The
priestess will again appear and ask you how many great ones will be
seated in the hall of two truths. The correct answer will open the
second gate. The answer can be found in the "Book of Death" scroll
which is in the set of shelves on the right side of the back wall. The
answer is 18. After she disappears an ankh appears, take it. Then you
hear a man's voice telling you that it is the sign of life and when all
else fails, it will save you. Turn around and exit. Turn around and go
back to the dials.
The third set of symbols are the ones we found inside the drawer
of the small table in the back room. First dial click three times,
second dial click four times and third dial click three times. The
priestess appears and asks how many beautiful ones call Isis father of
my father, answer so you can enter the third gate. The answer can be
found in the "Book of the Dead" scroll found on the desk in the back
room. The answer is 4. Take the falcon that appears when the priestess
disappears. Exit the room and turn around to the dials one last time.
The forth set of symbols are the ones we found written on the
wall in the room with the triangular statue. First dial click five
times, second dial click six times and third dial five times. Enter the
room and turn slightly left, the priestess will appear to ask you how
many pieces was Osiris cut into and spread around, answer correctly and
enter the fourth gate. The answer is found in the "Betrayal of Osiris"
scroll that is in the priestess' room. The answer is 14. Take the wheat
vase and exit the room.
COURT OF OSIRIS
Now go forward to the middle of the courtyard and turn left past
the fountain with the obelisk. When you are about to exit the courtyard
and before you start to walk down the dock turn left to the clay pot,
look inside, there you find the forth tablet, the earth tablet. Now go
forward to the dock and the priestess appears telling you that not
until you master the obelisk can you go forward. Now go to the Osiris
statue and using the eye of Osiris amulet click on the same figure on
the statue. The statue moves to reveal a staircase, go down and you
come to a statue with a ball on top and on each side of the monument is
the symbol of the four tablets you have been collecting.
UNDERGROUND CHAMBER
The first one you see is the air symbol, using the tablet from
your inventory click it on the symbol that is on the monument. The ball
turns colors and the gate in the background opens. Enter the gate. Go
all the way down the passage way. You will come to a pipe organ. The
door behind you closes and you can't open it until you fix the pipes so
it matches the tune you hear in the background. Well, actually I have a
tin ear so you are on your own. Or you can just move the pipes around
until the door opens. Or you can ... starting from the left and numbering
the positions from 1 through 6, put four in position six, four in
position three, two in position one, and five in position four. You did
it! Now turn around and exit the room. Go back to the monument and you
are facing the fire tablet, using the fire tablet click it on the
monument.
The door in the background opens, go in. Halfway down the
corridor you will see a torch on the wall to your left, take it. Turn
around and go back to the monument.
Go to the earth sign and using your earth tablet click on the
monument. Walk down the corridor and take the bucket. When you take the
bucket a piece of pipe appears, using your torch click on the part of
the pipe that is showing. The door opens go inside and you are found
with and obelisk, like the one outside. Click on it when you are
standing in front of the symbols representing the East. Click on the
top part until the ankh symbol is facing you. Turn around and exit the
room.
Go back to the monument and click on the water symbol and go in.
In the background you will see another obelisk. Halfway down on your
right you can see another bucket. This bucket is full of water, take
it. Don't move, using the bucket of sand, that is the bucket you
obtained from the earth corridor, put it on the scale that is to your
right. A catwalk will appear, so now you can cross over to the obelisk.
Align the ankh sign to the East. Exit the room and go to the fire
entrance.
The only thing you have to do is click on the fire symbol and the
gate will open. Go in and using the water bucket you obtained at the
water corridor click it on the door that is on fire, click the bucket
on it and the fire is extinguished. Go forward and up the stairs you
arrive at a terrace and there you see another obelisk. Do the same,
facing the East turn to align the ankh to that position. Exit the room.
Now exit the underground chamber. When you get to the courtyard turn
around and take the eye of Osiris.
COURT OF OSIRIS
Now go back to the obelisk and stand in front of it facing the
east symbol, like you did in the underground chamber, align the ankh
symbol to that position. If you go all the way around the obelisk when
you are facing the Isis chamber a priest will appear and tell you to
take the sign of life (ankh symbol) and the eye of Osiris (eye symbol).
Now go to the boat.
DOCK
At the dock, you find that you can't get on the boat. Turn to
your left and you see a kind of altar with three cubbyholes. Put the
three statues there, one in each cubbyhole. They go in a special order;
from left to right first is the vase of wheat, then the dog and then
the hawk. Now it is going to be tricky. Remember the old mind teaser
about the farmer that had to cross the river and could only carry one
item. Well this is about the same. First you take the hawk and leave it
on the other side then you take the dog and bring back the hawk, then
you take the wheat and come back for the hawk.
So click on the hawk and automatically you are taken to the other
side. On the other side is an altar similar to the other one. Put the
hawk there and go back. Now take the dog and go back and bring back the
hawk. Leave the hawk and take the wheat. Leave the wheat and go back
for the hawk. Well that was a task. When you finally arrive on the
other side the three offerings will be automatically put in your
inventory. So turn left and walk off the dock to the pyramid you see in
the background.
PYRAMID
Go inside, the first thing you see is a statue. I think it is
Osiris. Go to the statue and you can see some indentations that
correspond to the eye of Osiris, the dog, the wheat and the hawk. You
can't do anything with the eye of Osiris. So put the dog, wheat and
hawk in the corresponding indentations. You will hear an unlocking of a
door. So turn right then left and left again and then right. In other
words go behind the statue, there you will see another door. Go to it.
PYRAMID INTERIOR
Go inside. Right now is a good time to make a map, or else you
will be lost the rest of the game. It is a grid with three horizontal
corridors and five vertical ones. So from the entrance turn left and
left again. On the left side of the wall you will see a red block go to
it and click on it.
RED BLOCK ROOM
It is a room, when you enter you will see a table on your right with
some red crystal on a figurine and a capsule like contraption. Right in
front of it is a screen and it says Gianni Roma crystal orb. This is
Gianni Roma's personal journal. Hear his journal to find out that there
have been disappearances and dissention in the ranks. Due to a man
named Howard. It is not necessary to complete the game. Once you have
heard everything exit the room turning left.
You come to an intersection with four columns that have a silver
decoration at the bottom. Go forward to the end of the corridor and
turn right. There is a wooden door much like the entrance. Open it, it
is the scale room.
SCALE ROOM
Go all the way to the end and see a table with some jars on the
left and a scale on the right. The big jar is full and the other two
are empty. There is a contraption in the middle. There is a scroll to
the right of the apparatus. Read it, it tells you it is the scale of
truth. It also explains how to do it. Go ahead, you do it. I will wait
here. Okay, just in case you couldn't or didn't even try I'll tell you.
Take the large full jar and put it on the top part of the apparatus and
the middle jar on the bottom beside the large jar now click on the
lever. Now return the large jar and put the middle jar on top and the
empty smaller jar on the bottom beside the medium jar and click on the
lever. Now take the small jar and place it on the scale. Take the large
jar and put it on the other side of the scale. You hear something click
and you are shown a crystal, click on it. You see a coordinate. Write
it down: 64:90:20. Okay turn around and exit the room.
CORRIDORS
When you get to the columns turn left, go to the next
intersection. It has four wooden slim columns. If you turn left it is a
dead end. So go past them to the next intersection, also four slim
wooden columns. In front you can see a door with some winged women.
Don't go in yet. When you get to the intersection turn left and left
again. You find a door with a dog on it, go in.
ANUBIS ROOM
Once inside you see a big statue of a dog and an indentation of
the eye of Osiris. Using the eye of Osiris amulet click on the
indentation. The dog disappears and a square crystal appears, click on
it and write down the coordinates: 85:80:40. Turn around and exit the
room. Once in the corridor go forward to the next intersection, past
the winged gate. This intersection has four large wooden columns. Turn
left at the intersection. On your right you can see a pink block click
on it and go in.
HOT PINK BLOCK ROOM
Once inside you see a lot of games or something like that. It is
Niko Lantis' room. When you enter turn left and left again until you
come to some red boxes. On top of one of them is a paper, read it. It
talks about Atlantis. Now turn around and go to the desk. On top of the
desk is a torn piece of paper, write down the fragment numbers:
973,625,147, 832. Now hear the journal. Exit the room to your left.
LABYRINTH
Go to the next intersection, it has four slim wooden columns. If
you turn left it is a dead end. Go to the next intersection, it has
four round concrete columns. If you turn left it is a dead end. On
your left is a yellow block. Click on it and go in.
YELLOW BLOCK ROOM
It is Arthur Daedalus' room. Turn left and go to the red boxes,
on top of one of them is a paper read it. It is from Lantis, it talks
about a genius named Daedalus he was a devisor of wonders. Turn left
until you come to chair. On the seat is the other piece of the torn
paper you found in Lantis' room. Write down what it says: violet, blue,
red and green. So now we know that violet=973, blue=625, red=147 and
green=832. Turn left and go to the journal. Hear Daedalus' journal.
Exit the room turning right.
LABYRINTH
Go to the next intersection, it has four slim wooden columns. Turn
left and then right. You find a door with a hawk figure sitting down
with a scepter and a hat.
THIRD CHAMBER
Go in it is the third chamber. Remember the drawing you wrote
down. Now is a good time to save your game because if you make a
mistake you can't reset the puzzle, at least I couldn't do it. Look at
the floor, it has tiles. Click on the star, click on the star, click on
the moon, another moon and finally click on the star. Go forward and
click on the round crystal and write down the coordinates: 19:60:30.
Turn around and exit the room.
LABYRINTH
When you arrive at the corridor, pass the slim columns and go to
the next intersection, it has four slim wooden columns turn left and
then right. You will find two large wooden doors. Go in it is a blue
room.
FORTH CHAMBER
It is the coffin room, the same coffin that Set made to kill
Osiris in. Go in and go to the far back of the room where you can see
an alter type monument, it is really a coffin. Look at the front of it
and see all the hieroglyphics. Does it remind you of something that you
have seen before? I'll give you a hint: remember the "Book of
Passages". Okay just in case you forgot, here is the sequence: It is a
bird and a leg, a zigzag line with a circle and a snail underneath, a
hawk, a rectangle with a circle in the middle and a semicircle under
it, an eye shape with a snail underneath and a lying cane under that,
an overturned boat and some oars, a square and circle with a dot in the
middle under the square, a zigzag line, a vertical oval and a vertical
line under the oval, a bowl and another bowl under that one, and
overturned boat with a star and a vertical line under the boat.
If you did it right, you get access to a large crystal, click on
it. Another coordinate appears: 14:25:50. Perfect, exit the chamber.
LABYRINTH
When you get to the intersection, go forward past the next
intersection, it has four wooden columns and the next one, which also
has four wooden columns. Go forward to the next intersection with four
wooden columns. On the left wall past this intersection you can see a
white block on the wall.
WHITE BLOCK ROOM
This is Cassandra Alda's room. Turn left and go to the red boxes.
On top of them you can see a piece of paper, read it. It is from
Vincent. It is a poem about her namesake from the Greeks. When you read
it, it really does compare with her life. Go and read her journal. Turn
around and exit the room to your right.
LABYRINTH
Go past the intersection the next two intersections and at the
third intersection turn right. There on the right hand side wall is a
blue block. Go there.
BLUE BLOCK ROOM
It is Temogen's room. Look around and read his journal. When you
are finished exit the room and turn right.
LABYRINTH
Once in the corridor, go to the intersection with four cement
columns wrapped by red cement ribbons. Turn left and go forward past
the four slim wooden columns, into the dead end. There on your left you
can see a purple block, well not really purple but violet.
VIOLET BLOCK ROOM
This is Vincent Genevra's room. Look around and read the journal.
Turn around and exit the room going to your right.
LABYRINTH
Now it is time to conquer the winged door. So go all the way down
the corridor and when you get to the intersection that has four round
wooden columns with silver trim, turn right and go all the way down
until you come to the winged door.
WINGED DOOR
Click on the door and a pedestal emerges from the floor, click on
the pedestal. The priestess talks to you and asks you a question: How
many evil ones betrayed Osiris? Remember? When you went to the Isis
Chamber, where you entered the green building after entering a set of
hieroglyphics. Isis would appear and ask you a question so that you
could pass the different gates. Well these are the gates. The answer
can be found in the priestess' chamber, where the snake puzzle was;
written in the scroll the "Betrayal of Osiris". The answer is 74.
Once you have answered correctly you hear a ding and the pedestal
disappears. Click on the door to open them. Go to your right now to the
left. There you find another winged door.
You arrive at the second gate. At this gate the question is: How
many great ones are seated in the Hall of Two Truths? The answer can
be found in the "Book of Death" scroll, which is in the set of shelves
on the right side of the back wall. The answer is 18. Again, after you
have answered correctly the pedestal disappears. Click on the door and
go forward then turn left, where you will see another winged door.
You arrive at the third gate. At this gate the question is: How
many beautiful ones call Isis father of my father? The answer can be
found in the "Book of the Dead" scroll found on the desk in the back
room. The answer is 4. When you click on the door and it opens, you can
see a green block on the back wall. Go there.
GREEN BLOCK ROOM
It is John Howard's room. After you hear the journal, look down
on his desk. There is a box, click on it and take the key. Look around
and after you are finished, exit the room to your left. Turn right and
you will find the forth gate.
WINGED DOORS
You arrive at the forth gate. At this gate the question is: How
many pieces was Osiris cut into and spread around? The answer is found
in the "Betrayal of Osiris" scroll that is in the priestess' room. The
answer is 14. When the door opens you can see a gold, very ornate door,
with the ankh symbol.
ANKH DOOR
Using the ankh symbol place it on the door. The door opens, enter
the room and the priestess appears telling you that "You must rise like
Horus to the panicle of heaven. That is the source of all".
It looks like an elevator. It is an elevator. You have three
stops. We will call 1, where you entered the elevator; 2 the control
room and 3 the crystal room. Let's go to floor 2.
SECOND
It looks like a control room. Look around and you can see seven
pedestals with balls on top, they are planets. They are all closed
except for Earth and Traveler 1, which is activated. The seventh one
is: Agate, which is closed.
Ok, let's go to the control panel and try to figure out how this
works. So we have Traveler 1 activated. Remember the coordinates that
we have been writing down. Well, I think that this is a good place to
try them out. Well, that didn't work. Go back to the Earth pedestal and
activate it.
Go back to the control panel and click on the red button. Earth
Abydos appears. When you click on the triangle the destination changes
to Tokyo, then to London, then to Tikal, then to Prague, then to Lhasa,
then to Atlantis, then to Babylon and back to Abydos.
When you click on the green button, Abydos says it is
operational, Tokyo says malfunction, London says malfunction, Tikal is
operational, Prague says malfunction, Lhasa is operational, Atlantis is
operational and Babylon says malfunction. So we have four operational
destinations and four sets of coordinates that we have obtained in the
labyrinth.
When you click on the green button with Abydos in the destination
nothing happens, so let's leave that destination alone for now. Let's
put Lhasa in the destination box. Click on the green button and
automatically you are taken to the upper part of the control panel, by
clicking on the numbers change them to enter the coordinates. For Lhasa
85:80:40 worked. When you enter it correctly you are automatically
transported to that destination.
LHASA
When you arrive you see a golden Buddha. Click on the head, and
the statue moves to reveal stairs going down. Turn left and walk
forward to the first intersection. Turn left and click on the door,
when it opens you can see and hear some monks chanting. Enjoy. Turn
around. You can go to your left or straight, they all end up in the
same place.
This place is a sort of shrine with columns. Toward the back of
the room to your right is another doorway. Go there, walk down the hall
and turn left. You will arrive to a sort of tea room. Go in. On the
table in the middle of the room is a book, read it.
It talks about the Six Lobes of the Universe. The universe is
divided into six lobes and the sum of each lobe is perfect harmony.
Within these lobes are the eighteen pure lands of compassion equal in
strength to counter-balance the world. So the sums of wisdom and
compassion are perfectly balanced. This sounds very much like the snake
puzzle we found in the priestess' room. Okay, let's take a crack at it.
But first we have to find the puzzle. So look around the room and look
for something that looks like the snake puzzle.
The puzzle is hanging on the wall to the left side of the
entrance. So you have 18 round discs divided in threes and each disc is
tied to another. So if you add 1+2+3...+18= 171/6= 28.5. You can't have
decimals. So if we take out the ten and use 19, then we have
1+2+3...+18=171-10+19= 180. Now 180/6=30; so each set of three should
sum 30. And 18 discs /2= 9 pairs of discs. 9 pairs of discs should add
180; so 180/9= 20. So each pair in turn should add 20. Now by trail and
error you obtain the following mandala.
Looking at this mandala as a clock and starting at 12 o'clock we
get: 18,4,16,13,1,5,6,19,14,9,7,17,11,2,12,3,15 and 8. If you did it
right you are automatically given a special key. Look at your inventory
to make sure. Well you're done hear so head back to the control
station, so we can go to the next location.
SECOND FLOOR
Once at the controls go through the same procedure you did when
you went to Lhasa, but this time choose Tikal as your destination and
enter the following coordinates: 64:90:20.
TIKAL
Look around and locate the porthole, because later you might find
it difficult to locate. From the gate, go forward, forward, forward,
left, forward, forward, forward, forward, left, forward, forward,
forward, left, forward and forward. In front of you, you will see a
pedestal and a lit torch. Look at the Pedestal, there is a carving on
it. It is of four dice like squares; from top to bottom it says:
1,3,4,2. Now click on the pedestal and a board with a lot of dice
squares appears. At the bottom is a yellow square outside the dice
square and at the top is another. The object is to get from the bottom
yellow to the top yellow by following the numbered sequence; (1,3,4,2).
Try it, it is fairly easy.
Ok, here we go: up, up , left, up, left, left, left, up, right,
up, up, right, down, right, up, right, up, left, left, up, left, down,
left, up left, up, right and up. Wow! A light shines from a top of one
of the pyramids. Go there and climb the steps. When you get there, you
will see a purple crystal on top of an altar. Take it.
Go down the stairs and when you get to the bottom turn right. Go
forward between the buildings until you get to a blue, yellow and red
building. There is a lit torch in the front of it. Go in. Go to the
middle of it and you will see a sort of well, go down. When you get to
the bottom, you can see a door to which you need a special key.
Using your special key open the door. Go down the hall and enter
the room. There is a slab in the middle of the room and around the room
are four closed cubbyholes. Click on each one of them, you will see a
round crystal globe with a plant inside. Open all four. When that is
done, you will see another cubbyhole open. This one has a skeleton in
it; turn it. When you enter the room again to your left is a pedestal,
click on it. Wow! Lasers! The slab is a tomb. It opens revealing a
skeleton. Click on it and you see a crystal in his hand, take it.
Turn around and exit the tomb. Now go back to the gate. Once
outside the building go forward, forward, left, forward, right,
forward, forward, forward, forward, right, forward, forward, right,
right and there you are. Walk right through the two poles.
Once back at the controls turn around and go to the third floor.
THIRD FLOOR
Exit the elevator and walk around the room putting the two
crystals you got from Tikal on two pedestals. As you can see you need
two more crystals. Okay. We still have two more places to visit. Let's
go to Atlantis.
ATLANTIS
When you are at the controls you notice that you have more little
green squares lit. That means you have more power. The coordinates that
worked for me were: 19:60:30.
You arrive at an island. Look around. At one of the edges of the
island you can see some fallen columns and a silver disc on the ground,
go there. When you approach on one of the columns there is a
rectangular tablet with an arrow pointing down, click on it. You are
automatically taken down through a tunnel under the water and then
seated at another control panel.
Look at the control panel, it is pretty much straight forward the
way you operate it. Be careful to see where this exit is because it
won't be obvious. Okay, ready for the journey?
I will show you the shortest way to get to the crystal and back.
Obviously, no sight seeing. I will leave that for your spare time. From
where you are ready to start, go forward, forward, forward, right,
forward, left, back, forward, left, forward, back, right, forward. Now
use the handle that is to the left of the control panel to pick-up the
crystal. Now let's go back to the docking station. Go backwards,
forward, forward, right, forward, left, forward, left, forward,
forward, forward and back. Now using your pointer look for the up-hand.
With a little more description: you can see a very pointed and
jagged rock coming out of the left side bank and fallen columns on the
top, go forward; while you are moving you notice a giant medallion on
your left. Your console has no lights on. Now you see a concrete ledge,
go forward. When you stop two lights come on. Go forward and when you
stop you can see what looks like the top part of a building and four
lights are lit. Turn right now you can see an archway. Go forward you
pass two archways and stop at what looks like a dead end and now six
lights are on. Turn left and you see three broken columns to your left
and some type of roof. Go backwards and you can see a broken column to
your right. Go forward and when you stop you can see a leaning column
to your left and there are eight lights lit. Turn left and you stop at
a rectangular entrance. Go forward you pass between a lot of columns
and end up at a crossway with ten lights lit. Go backwards and you see
what looks like a window. Turn right and you are stopped between two
columns, in the far back you cans see a red pedestal. Go forward and
you are closer to the crystal and all the lights are lit. Click on the
handle that is on your left. You pick up the crystal. Go backwards and
you can see the two columns. Go forward and you see the small window,
three lights are off. Go forward and you stop at a low wall and seven
lights are off. Turn right and you can see a circular floor and two
broken columns to your left. Go forward and you stop at a lot of plants
and eleven lights are off. Turn left and you see and archway. Go
forward passing through two archways and stopping with nothing in front
of you and fifteen lights are off. Turn left and you stop at an
underwater canyon. Go forward through the canyon and you now have
nineteen lights off. Go forward and you see a large piece of wood and
all the lights are out. Go forward passing by the medallion and you
stop at a sand bank. Go backwards and you see what you saw when you
started. Now move the cursor to the top part of the screen until a hand
pointing up appears and click.
You will automatically be taken back up to the island. Turn left
and keep going forward until you get to the gate and now to the control
board. Now go to the third floor.
THIRD FLOOR
Once on the third floor deposit the crystal on one of the
pedestals. Go back to the controls so we can visit the other
coordinate.
SECOND FLOOR
You can't enter the coordinates because there is no other place
to go. So go to the white planet and click on the activation button in
order to activate the traveler 1. No go back to the console and enter
the forth set of coordinates: 14:25:50. Oh man you are traveling in
space and you finally arrive at a space station.
SPACE STATION
Go forward and through the door. You enter, or in this case exit
to what looks like a landing platform. Look around and when you have
finished enter the door to the left of the door you just exited.
When you enter the door arrive at an elevator. For now you can
only go to one floor. Go to the panel on your left and you can see that
a small square is lit beside the number one. That means you are on the
first floor. Click on the 2 and on the panel on your right you see that
two purple lines light up. When the door opens you arrive at a type of
greenhouse.
GREENHOUSE
Go forward until you come to the end of the path and turn left.
Go forward until you come to some steps, climb the steps. Look around
when you get to a table with a triangle on top and three arms with
balls at the end go there and click on the pyramid. A number appears:
167.
Now click right twice and go forward, go down the steps on the
right side of the weird palm tree. When you see a fork in the path take
the right one. Keep going forward always taking the right path (should
be nine clicks from the moment you took the right fork) and you should
be able to see a gold square with a red triangle on it to your right on
top of a rock. Take it. Turn around and go back to the steps; you
should be able to do it by taking the left path always. Once you get to
the steps take the path on the left side of the weird palm tree. Go
forward eight times and turn right. You can see the elevator in the
background.
Now that you know your way around, look around it is really
fascinating. When you are finished with your tour go to the elevator
and click on the number three. It says card requested. Well, guess
what? You have a card. Using the gold card click it on the slit at the
bottom of the panel. Once the panel eats your card click on the number
three. You arrive at Howard's private quarters.
HOWARD'S PRIVATE QUARTERS
Once inside go to the blue steps in front of you and turn right
until you can see a big round dark blue sofa. Go around the sofa until
you see some gold steps. Go to them and climb. There is a type of door
but you can't open it, so turn around and go down the steps. Once at
the bottom, turn left, go forward and turn left. You should be able to
see another set of stairs in front. Go up the steps and turn right. Go
forward until you see a control panel. Go to it and click on it.
You can see a number pad. Well, we are fresh out of numbers. No!
Wait! We have the number we read in the greenhouse, remember? The
number was 167. So Click on the red button and it directs you to enter
the code, enter 167 and it says code accepted. Automatically you see a
pole come up out of the sofa and a ray is directed to the closed door.
When it shines on the red crystal the door opens. Okay!
Turn right and go forward toward the steps. Climb down and go to
the golden step and go up. You enter yet another room. NICE!
HOWARD'S SPACIAL BEDROOM
Go forward and turn right, walk along the wall and walk on the
right side of the pond or pool. Go past the bar and walk forward until
you get to a bronze chest with what looks like two panthers with huge
long tails. It has a key hole and ... you have a key. So using the key
open the chest and you find the last crystal. Okay, now turn left and
go to the stairs that are on top of the pool and to the right of the
circular aquarium. Go up. Once on top turn left and go to the desk in
the far right side of the level. There is a video panel on the desk. It
is Roma's personal video.
He was deceived by Howard and brought to this place.
Now turn left and go to the panel. It is the Commander and she is
telling Howard to close down the gates because time is being destroyed.
Okay we are finished. Go back to the door and go back to the elevator
and to the first floor and then to the gate. Once at the second floor
go to the third floor to deposit the last crystal.
SECOND FLOOR
Turn around and go to the elevator go to the third floor and
deposit the last crystal onto its pedestal.
THIRD FLOOR
Deposit the crystal on the last pedestal. Now you have access to
a forth floor the crystal matrix room. Go back to the elevator and go
up to the crystal matrix room.
CRYSTAL MATRIX ROOM
When you arrive you are met with a video of the Commander telling
you that if Howard doesn't shut down the gate she will obliterate him.
Once she is finished turn left. You come to a red crystal and three
zeros at the bottom. What to do?
Remember the two torn pieces of paper? You have to put them
together. Once you have done that you will be able to solve this
puzzle.
Okay... I will help. Red-147, Blue-625, Green-832 and Purple- 973.
So enter 147 on the red one turn left and enter 625 on the blue
one. Turn left and enter 832 on the green one and finally 973 on the
purple one. Enjoy the final scene. You are then automatically taken to
the video screen and Howard appears. Telling you that he is not dead or
missing. He is there to come back another day.

CRONOLOGY
This is a recompilation of the personal journals found throughout
the pyramid.
DAY 1
(Roma)- Safeguards are installed on the gates. Slight incident
happened with a peasant. Temogen is good at what he does.
(Lantis)- Talks about the site that was chosen as the base, it is
the labyrinth. (He is pleased and excited).
(Daedalus)- Success in 18 th Dynasty Egypt. Gate works fine. (He
is very happy).
(Temogen)- (He is the one we saw at the temple in the viewer). A
peasant saw him and was reprimanded by Roma. He really sees no use in
keeping a journal and is reluctant to do it.
(Cassandra)- She is very happy and enthusiastic about the whole
project.
(Howard)- Entered old Egypt. Satisfied with the location of the
base in the labyrinth.
DAY 2
(Roma)- Natives keep putting in puzzles and deterrents, but it is
a challenge more than a deterrent.
(Lantis)- He is very pleased with the installation and excited
that the first shipment came through the gate, safely.
(Cassandra)- Finished packing the Minoan artifacts. (Seems to
have a crush on Howard).
DAY 5
(Roma)- Howard is becoming impossible and self absorbed.
Belligerent and bull headed.
(Temogen)- Roma and Howard reprimanded him for ignoring security.
(Cassandra)- Has traveled through gates, no problem. Asia Minor
gate turns out to be a bummer.
DAY 12
(Vincent)- He was reprimanded for drawing the artifacts, instead
of taking them, for not finishing the correlation of the theory and
because he doesn't make entries in his journal.
DAY 15
(Daedalus)- The theory is correct.
DAY 19
(Temogen)- Howard asks him to go and spy out the land across the
river.
DAY 20
(Roma)- Vincent went to the European station due to a broken
necklace. They need to know if it was due to the technology, which is
highly improbable.
(Daedalus)- A broken necklace arrives, it should not have
happened. He is trying to locate coordinates to Atlantis, but the
crystal base is resistant.... strange.
(Vincent)- A necklace arrives broken; he must go to the European
station and report what went wrong.
(Cassandra)- The necklace comes through broken. She defends
Howard.
(Howard)- He is mad because a necklace arrives in pieces. He
talks about HIS European collection. He sends Vincent to investigate,
because he cannot spare Roma.
DAY 21
(Roma)- There was a breach in security on part of Howard.
(Vincent)- Finished report on the broken necklace, but found
nothing wrong. He has an idea on improving the packing procedure.
DAY 26
(Cassandra)- There was a surge in one of the gates and the person
coming through barely survives.
(Howard)- He doesn't believe that the employees did nothing
wrong, and that there is nothing wrong with the gate itself.
DAY 29
(Daedalus)- Located correct coordinates for Atlantis.
(Howard)- Daedalus has located the coordinates for Atlantis. He
is very excited.
DAY 35
(Roma)- A technician disappears from the Greek Station. Howard is
out of control. Believes Howard is stealing artifacts.
(Temogen)- He has read the literature on warfare, and admires it.
He has to go to the Greek station to investigate a disappearance.
(Cassandra)- The Greek station suffers a disappearance. She keeps
defending Howard.
DAY 36
(Howard)- He reports "happenings". He disregards them because
nothing must interrupt the work.
COMMANDER'S GIBBERISH: The Commander reprimands Howard and send and
ultimatum to Howard saying that in hours or days they will leave, with
or without them.
DAY 40
(Temogen)- He found nothing at the Greek station, except for the
warfare literature.
DAY 45
(Lantis)- Seti 12 is full of artifacts of great interest. People
are disappearing and he is astounded that Howard seems not to care.
(Vincent)- Worked on Seti 12, liked the paintings, but Howard
only likes the gold.
(Howard)- They had success at Seti 12. They are using
tranquilizer guns to put to sleep the guards. He says it is worth the
risk.
DAY 46
(Roma)- Howard had an encounter with a native. Resolved the
problem well, but didn't have to be in the situation in the first
place.
(Cassandra)- She helps Howard with some artifacts, and talks
about his collection. She makes excuses for him.
DAY 50
(Howard)- Daedalus and Lantis are still working with the Atlantis
gate. He is getting desperate.
DAY 60
(Lantis)- He tells Howard that they need to shut down the gates
because Daedalus can not figure out why people are disappearing, but
Howard is not concerned.
DAY 65
(Daedalus)- Something is wrong, people are disappearing. He has
his doubts on the viability of the technology.
DAY 83
(Daedalus)- He is working over the theories and formulas, but can
not find anything wrong.
DAY 90
(Vincent)- He talks to Cassandra about the new packing procedure.
(He seems to have a crush on Cassandra).
(Howard)- They finished with the Seti 12. He is having a hard
time deciding which one to keep and which to send on.
COMMANDER'S GIBBERISH: She is demanding Howard's report, which is
overdue.
DAY 95
(Lantis)- Daedalus is still working on a theory to explain the
disappearances. Howard still doesn't want to shut the gates.
DAY 115
(Cassandra)- Atlantis gate is finished. She gets premonition
about Lantis causing everybody trouble. She wants to go to Atlantis but
Daedalus and Lantis won't let her go because of anomalies.
(Howard)- The Atlantis gate is established. He disregards Lantis'
and Daedalus warnings about anomalies. They have recovered good
artifacts.
DAY 129
(Cassandra)- Tomorrow she goes to Greek station. Daedalus and
Lantis don't want her to go, but Howard wants her to go and see the
transportation of a solid gold statue. She has an ominous premonition
and is very scared.
DAY 130
(Roma)- Cassandra disappears, more security is needed. He is
beginning to get scared.
(Lantis)- Yesterday, Cassandra disappears. The Greek station is
in shambles and Howard doesn't care.
(Temogen)- He investigated other disappearances and looked at
every gate, and found nothing.
(Vincent)- Cassandra disappears. (He is distraught).
(Howard)- Cassandra disappears. There is no trace of her. He is
sad.
DAY 132
(Howard)- The Commander wants to shut down. He now controls all
communications. He is becoming arrogant and undisciplined.
COMMANDER'S GIBBERISH: She demands to now hear from Roma. Howard
intercepted the communications to Roma and Deadalus.
DAY 155
(Roma)- One more disappears from Tibetan gate.
DAY 156
(Temogen)- Tibetan gate reports another disappearance. (He is
beginning to get scared).
DAY 158
(Roma)- Mayan station is closed. A lot ended up missing and
Howard doesn't care.
(Vincent)- He is scared about the disappearances and wants to go
home.
DAY 160
(Roma)- Vincent disappears. He starts to think in the necessity
of shutting all the gates.
(Temogen)- Vincent disappears and he wasn't even on the gate. He
hates Howard.
(Howard)- Vincent disappears. Howard actually doesn't think
loosing all these people is worth closing down. He wants to go forward.
DAY 170
(Roma)- Daedalus, Lantis and himself start to conspire against
Howard and shut the gates.
(Lantis)- Vincent disappears and people are disappearing even if
they are not on the gate. Daedalus is loosing it. Talks to Roma about
forcing Howard to shut the gates. He believes Roma is planning
something.
(Daedalus)- Cassandra and Vincent have disappeared. (He looks
distraught).
DAY 175
(Lantis)- Daedalus is growing weaker. Most of the gates are
closed. They can not contact the commander.
(Temogen)- Roma talks to him about closing the gates. He is of
the opinion that the technology is a disaster.
DAY 180
(Temogen)- He went to the Mayan station with supplies, but nobody
was there, yet Howard insisted he take them. Roma confronted Howard
about all that is happening there. He is planning to sneak across the
river for another look.
(Howard)- Most of the other gates are shut down. Roma insists on
shutting down. He now feels that he must protect himself from the
others, because he must complete HIS collection.
DAY 181
(Daedalus)- Temogen and Roma are gone.
DAY 182
(Lantis)- Temogen and Roma have disappeared. There was a
convenient accident and Howard says they are at other gates.
(Daedalus)- Can not find the problem. (He looks distraught). He
believes that Howard is getting so greedy he is loosing his normality.
DAY 183
(Daedalus)- He knows what happened to everyone. Time travel is
possible. He hast to tell Lantis but must be careful with Howard. All
times coexist, all possibilities happen.
DAY 184
(Lantis)- Daedalus seems to be dying. He says that the problem is
not in the technology but in the application of the theory. Something
to do with the fabric of time. He says he needs a lot of time to fix
the problem. Daedalus is preparing to shut the gates permanently. (Both
of them are scared of Howard).
(Daedalus)- He explained it to Lantis and must prepare the
destruction of the gate system. It must never be used. Instead of
staying in our own time track, Howard insisted in visiting other
possibilities. This disruption of the fabric of time and each shift
tore the membrane of time. Tearing the separation of the different
tracks or possibilities.
DAY 219
(Lantis)- Daedalus is ready, he has figured out a sequence to
close the gates and restore time. Still no contact with the commander.
(Daedalus)- He has prepared the formula for the dissolution of
the gates. He set the crystal matrix and written the instructions,
Lantis also knows what to do. One of them must destroy the gates. (He
is very weary and afraid of Howard).
DAY 220
(Lantis)- Howard has won he is mad and he controls time. Howard
has hidden the crystals, without which the can not shut the gates.
Howard has also taken data and schematics.
(Howard)- Deadalus and Lantis are all who are left. He takes the
power crystals so that they cannot shut the gate. He lures them to the
gate and sends them off. He doesn't care where they went. So he is the
only one left. He needs to pack the choicest pieces for HIS collection.
He is going to leave temporarily to satisfy the Commander, but he is
hiding the crystals so that nobody can shut the gate.
COMMANDER'S GIBBERISH: It is a transmission, intercepted by Howard, for
Deadalus and Lantis. The Commander has disturbing information about the
gate.
DAY 225
(Lantis)- Howard claims to have discovered something and he
promised to give them the power crystals, but they need to try out the
gate first. He doesn't believe Howard.
Note: If you experience a slip in actions or time, I am sorry. There
was an error produced on my file and a lot of information was lost.
Since I had played it and erased all saved games I went from memory. So
