General strategy Tips:

* Before planning an attack, make peace with the prospective 
  adversary. Because now you can calmly position your units in 
  the middle of his village square before launching a surprise 
  attack.

* Even without an official peace offer, you can quickly find out 
  the enemy's location. Save, then make peace and then load the 
  old save.
