How to Set Your Server Private:
-------------------------------
Written by MrKizu

This server helps you from keeping any outsiders away from your server!

-=Introduction=-
Because the server list is already flooded with servers that you mostly cannot
get into because of the connection issues at the moment so it might be a good
thing to just have your server on private to save some space, eh?

-=1st Step=-
So first you go to your Online Menu in your pause screen and click it.

-=2nd Step=-
You go to your Online Options. It’s inside the red square.

-=3rd Step=-
You scroll the first selection until you find "Private"

I’ll give you these few terms:
"Friends Only" = Only host’s friends can join.
"Single Player" = Host is on his / her / it’s own and no one can join.
"Publix" = Any random person can join without host’s permission.
"Private" = Only the player that host invited can join the game.
And you are done!

Enjoy the outsider-free experience and please stop cluttering the server browser.

Techland already has issues with it’s servers so you’d be doing a favor to them
and players who want to hang out.

How to Change the Day/Night Cycle:
----------------------------------
Written by FkYoSht

This is an attempt to explain the easy process of modding the day/night cycle
of the vanilla game to whatever the user desires.

-=Intro=-
First off, If you dont feel like messing with a compressed archive there is a mod
that changes the day\night cycle to Real Time Mod (1 in game hour = 1 irl hour).
If a 1 to 1 ratio sounds like a lot, then this guide is for you. It is very easy
to modify the values to whatever you want IE: 2x, 4x, 8x, etc.
It is a simple manipulation of 3 values.

A file extractor program (7 zip for example) is required to view the compressed
"data0.pak" archive.

At any point i am not responsible for any lost or damaged files. Any lost/deleted
files can be recovered through the verify integrity of game files option via steam.

-=How Time Works in Game=-
Before modding the time to our liking, we must understand how time works in game.

In the vanilla game, values are shown as this:
export float WHOLE_DAY_DURATION__DAY = 4800.0;// (*1)
export float WHOLE_DAY_DURATION__NIGHT = 2400.0;// (*2)
export float WHOLE_DAY_DURATION__INTERIOR = 8640.0;// (*3)

(*1) - 1h in game daytime means 3:20 minutes of real time
(*2) - 1h in game daytime means 1:40 minute of real time
(*3) - 1h in game daytime means 6 minutes of real time

As you can see, there are three values that we must change to affect the cycle.
The numbers used above are real time seconds.

For example: The time multiplier for being inside is 8640 seconds for one in-game day.
8640 seconds = 144 minuets. As mentioned above, 1 hour in game = 6 minuets real time.
6 x 24 = 144 minuets = 8640 seconds.

The author of the Real Time Mod has done the conversion for both 30 minuet and 60
minute in-game hours.

The values being:
48000.0 = 30 Seconds (Real Time)
86000.0 = 60 Seconds (Real Time)

-=Editing=-
* Navigate to
  C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\source where data0.pak is located.
* Using a file compression program (i use 7zip because free).
* Right click, hover over what ever zip program is listed, and select open archive
(Dont extract it, there’s 3gb of files in there).
* In the archive viewer, find the sub-folder named scripts.
* In the folder named scripts find a file named "dw_weather_def.scr"
* Right click on "dw_weather_def.scr" and select Edit.
* dw_weather_def.scr will open in Notepad.

The information we’re concerned with is these three lines:
export float WHOLE_DAY_DURATION__DAY = 4800.0;// (*1)
export float WHOLE_DAY_DURATION__NIGHT = 2400.0;// (*2)
export float WHOLE_DAY_DURATION__INTERIOR = 8640.0;// (*3)

(*1) - 1h in game daytime means 3:20 minutes of real time
(*2) - 1h in game daytime means 1:40 minute of real time
(*3) - 1h in game daytime means 6 minutes of real time

Simply input whatever values you desire and save before opening the game.

I recommend keeping a copy of dw_weather_def.scr somewhere in case of emergencies.

Inhibitors Guide + Loot & Secrets Walkthrough:
----------------------------------------------
Written by Your BFF

I wont go into detail about the easily findable ones because you can just get the
radio towers and they show up on your map im here to talk about the 4 that are not
so easily found and dont show up on map or not always there.

1. The first one that you might be having probloms finding is one from a quest giver
at the very start of the game. After completing the hospital you will get acces to
the open world. Once you have that you will want to go directly south of the hospital
to a trading post. There is a quest giver there that gives you the quest "the first
biomarker" do that quest and you will get an inhibitor for your trouble.

2.The second one that dousnt show on your map is one in a safe in a dark zone right
above the spruce windmill in "Lower Dam Ayre" the safe code itself can be found inside
the dark zone while the safe is at the top of the dark zone.

3/4.The final 4 that you does not always show on the map comes from the quest "cathedral"
and will spawn an inhibitor case inbeetween the 2 towers of the "saint paul cathedral".
If you did the other quest line avoiding this one you will be forced to join somones
game who has completed or is in that quest and the box will be inbeetween the 2 towers inside.

Hopefully this helps you avoiding the anger of those final few

How to Get Mario Boots:
-----------------------
Written by epicm8360

Go to the crane near The Heron Renegade camp in Lower Dam Ayre. After this, you
should see a Big crate with a platform and a door. Lock pick the door, you’ll
know it’s the right one when you see stuff like “NEVER FORGET” and “WE LOVE YOU
CRANE”. Flip on the radio, then sit by the campfire and wait. You will know it’s
ready when you hear a lightning strike. What they do: every 3rd consecutive jump,
(vaults, double jump, jump pads, etc. don’t count), you will do a flip in the air
it will be a high jump and you will go in 3rd person for about half a second.

Best Combo Tips & Tricks:
-------------------------
Written by Xap Mac

Important info these combinations are not like, super-op or techland don't want
to teach you about them. Some are not obvious, but most are easy to find by ourselves.

The goal is to teach new players how parkour attacks work and to help them deal
with their enemies faster. To save some weapons durability, you will need to unlock
certain abilities first.

-=Key terms=-
* V = Charge
* Kick from above = From above
* Head = head stomp

-=COMBOS=-
* V + hit + Head – Simple one, just charge on the enemy and hit as soon as the
health bar goes down. Then jump on the head

* From above + Shockwave- Kick from above and while doing so, hold LMB to perform
a shockwave just after touching the ground (not so One) has been found

* Print kick + hit + heads – You can print kick from a small objeckt-like bench,
  then hit and head stomp

* Hook + hit + Head – Use a hook to hit an enemy and, as he flies towards you,
hit him with a head stomp note! You can only use it if the hook has been upgraded
  enought to pull enemies.

* Print kick + shockwave – If the enemy is below you, you can do this one.
Just hold LMB while doing Print Kick Downwards.

* Judo grab + Hit + Head – It's easy. Just do a judo grab and hit and stomp whenever
  the health bar is lower.

Guide to Farm Zombies (Winter Tales):
-------------------------------------
Written by maley

In this guide I will tell you where to find demolishers and runners to complete
quests events Winter Tales.

-=How to Farm Zombies=-
* Where to Find the Demolisher
* You can find demolishers in the Old Village in this place.
* All you need is to run 150-200 meters after each kill and run back so that he
  is reborn again.

-=Where to Find Runners=-
* Runners spawn very often in Garrison Boulevard, so go to this area and run along it.

How to Farm Legend Level Points:
--------------------------------
Written by Urukhai

* Set the difficulty on hard.
* Go to st. Pauls Island. There, you will see a bunch of yellow trampolines.
* Sleep.
* Trigger a night chase, preferrably to the max lvl.
* Constantly jump between these trampolines.
* Profit!

How to Kill the Volatiles at Night:
-----------------------------------
-=First Tip=-
* You will, there is a little trick to fight volatiles:
* Max up your regeneration + toughness booster + UV flares.
* Make sure that all your clothing parts together come on an infected resistance
  of 40+.
* Note: Brawler gear can be bought from HARPER for some Harper tokens or can be
found in the *yellow chests guarded by renegades during the day).

* Take a good one hand melee weapon.
* Note: Good weapons can be farmed from *yellow chests, legend lvl chests,
  replayable GRE anomalies, outpost chests).

* Put on it FROST (crit freeze), FLING (crit blast) & EMPOWERMENT.
* Now you can go out at night and hunt volatiles, but make sure that both boosters
are active as long you are dealing with volatiles!
* Especially the toughness booster is important, if this one went out, you will
get killed one or two shot by a volatile, even with legend lvl 250!
* Will say, keep always an eye on your boosters, else you will die!

-=Second Tip=-
* Wait till you have the UV flashlight. Shine them in the face and they will be
blinded for a few seconds, during that time whack them. If they start to recover
shine them again. If you want your UV flashlight to last longer hammer the use
button instead of pressing it continuously. If you feel you are outnumbered throw
an UV bar or use your glider to escape.

* I don´t use boosters for night hunts. Try to find as many inhibitors as possible,
use them for health and stamina equally. Of course be always on the lookout for
better gear to wear that gives you stamina bonus, increased damage against infected
and damage resistances.

* Best way to deal with Volatiles during a new game is not to be seen until you
are stronger. So stay on the rooftops as long as possible and hide inside tall grass
if a Volatile comes close and starts to scent you.

-=Bonus Tip=-
* You can pretty much easily farm them in front of PKs main base. Just lure them to
the UV lights and when they will be busy getting out of it, hit them and kill them.
I farmed a lot of them this way and if u do it long enough u can get thousands of
weapon xp or whatever its called. But be very careful. Sometimes with multiple
volatiles theres a situation in which you get jumped on. By all of them at once
which results in your instant death which once lost me nearly 5k weapon xp bonus.
