To get through the first level more easily, move the joystick
up to let the rubber-boat jump into the air. When the boat is
on the highest peak, press the 'Run Stop'-key to return to the
title screen. Press Fire to play the level again and the boat
will dive below the water surface, invulnerable to any mine.
