Alternate costumes:

When selecting a character, hold start first and then press x.

Differant menu background:

Enter game options and then press either R1 or L1 to go through all 
the backgrounds.

Classic character's & poses:
----------------------------
To play with a character just how they looked in the first virtua 
fighter use any fighter to reach first dan rank then when you use 
that fighter again hold punch & kick while the fight loads and you 
will look like they did during VF1.
For classic poses reach second kyu rank with a created fighter. 
now after winning a battle, during the replay hold kick, punch 
and guard to see a VF1 victory pose, for another, reach third dan 
rank and during the replay hold punh+kick.

Fight as dural:

To unlock her as a playable character in versus mode, defeat her in kumite mode.

Unlock Training stage 1 in versus mode:

Reach first dan rank with a created fighter.

Unlock Training stage 2 in versus mode:
---------------------------------------
Reach Fifth dan rank with a created fighter.

Unlock Training stage 3 in versus mode:
---------------------------------------
Reach Monarch rank with a created fighter.

Unlock Dural's stage in versus mode:

Use a created fighter to get emperor or great emperor rank.

Obtain special items:

In kumite mode get 100 consecutive wins, your character will then get a 
special item witch varies depending on the character chosen.

Get a training trophy:
----------------------
With a created fighter complete the trial events in training mode, 
this results in a trophy icon appearing over your health bar.
