How to Get The Game to Work:

* Go to where the game is installed
  - Usually in the: 
    C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Beach Resort Simulator\
* Right-click on the "beachresort.exe" file
* When the menu pops up, select "Properties"
* In the "Compatibility" tab, select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" 
  under the "Compatibility Mode"
* Also have the "Run As Administrator" check box checked.
* Click on "Apply" and then click on "OK"

That’s it, it should work just fine from here on out. Hope this helps.
