Gold and Food:

In programs, below it it will say "Character Editor." Open this and go 
to file and open your data and to the right of "Edit" it will say "Free
Extras" In extras you can edit "Gold" and "Food."


Cheat mode:

Press one of the following keys during game play while not focused
in a window to activate the corresponding cheat function. 

Key           Effect

>           - Refresh towns after leaving current town
(           - Programmer message
)           - Programmer message 
[Ampersand] - Programmer message
[Asterisk]  - Programmer message
D           - Debug mode (*)

(*) Monsters will not move during combat and will die after one hit.
    You will not get gold or experience.
