Instantly Fight Bosses In Capcom VS SNK:
----------------------------------------
When you start up Capcom VS SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro and the
intro plays, hold down LP + HP, and then press Start. You'll be
taken to the Groove and character select screens as usual. However,
it won't be for regular Arcade Mode; depending on which characters
you chose, you'll immediately face Geese, Akuma, or a team of Balrog
and M. Bison. This works on both Ratio and Pair Match Mode settings.
Random Groove Select In CVS2's Training And VS Modes:
-----------------------------------------------------
When selecting a Groove in Capcom VS SNK 2's Training or VS Modes,
try pressing the Start Button. The game will automatically and
rapidly cycle through all the Grooves. Press Start again to cancel
it, and an attack button to select a Groove.
Akuma's Alpha 3 Fiery Taunt:
----------------------------
In Street Fighter Alpha 3, Akuma and Shin Akuma are briefly wreathed in
flames whenever they taunt. However, that's not just for show; it's also
a hidden attack. The next time you play as either of them, try getting
as close to your opponent as possible and taunting. If positioned correctly,
the opponent will catch on fire and get knocked back. Note that the taunt
only does 1 HP of damage and can only be performed once per round, so it's
best saved for when you want to flex on your opponent just before KOing
them. Since you get infinite taunts in Training Mode, it'll be easier
to perform this trick there.
Shin Akuma's Alpha 3 Fake Fireball:
-----------------------------------
In Street Fighter Alpha 3, Ryu famously has a fake Hadoken in his move
list that can be used as a feint. However, he isn't the only one. Shin
Akuma secretly has a fake Gohadoken as well. It even has the same input;
just do the normal quarter circle forward command, but use the Taunt
Button instead of a punch. Shin Akuma will do the body motions, but no
fireball will come out. Note that this move does not appear in the move
list menu, nor does it build meter.
Cody's Alpha 3 Taunt Cancel:
----------------------------
When playing as Cody in Alpha 3 Upper, try pressing Forward + Taunt.
Instead of doing his regular taunt, Cody will perform some kind of punch
feint. The animation lasts only a few frames and might actually be a
programming oversight. However, it lets you cancel moves to perform certain
combos more easily. Since you can only taunt once per round, be careful on
how and when you use it. Try experimenting with it in Training Mode first,
which has no taunting limits. Note that this works only for the Capcom
Fighting Collection 2 and PSP versions of Alpha 3 Upper.
