Chained Echoes

Tips for Hardest Difficulty:
----------------------------
When leveling, go for Active > Stats > Passive. Since you only have 3
passive slots + 2 class passives, it’s the thing you want to get last.
Don’t go too crazy on actives as well, at some point you skip actives
altogether and prioritize stats.
Since crystals have an inventory limit, just use them, no point hoarding
unless you know what you are doing.
I never bought or upgraded gear. But money is most useful for buying the
meal item. 150 heal is op throughout the game until you get strong enough
to heal 200 on your own. It’s expensive but it will save your life. Ofc
this only works if you explore and get the better treasure gears.
Gear from town is useless.
L1 (rb) twice to escape. You can just keep resetting until you win. Also
using glenn’s ult just wins you most if not all fights (especially if it’s
multiple enemies).
The aoe heal is a trap. It will get you killed more than save your life.
When you need heal to reduce the overdrive, it will like reduce the meter
by 10% and add 30% for some reason causing you to always overheat.
Never use that thing.
How to Complete Find the Phioran Couple Quest:
----------------------------------------------
Written by bolabuga
This short guide explain how to complete Find the Phioran Couple quest
in the Chained Echoes game.
-=How-To=-
Phioran are 2 amphibious characters.
The woman (wife) is far west on the map, south of basil village.
The man (husband) is swimming on water, really close the first city. As soon
you unlock the first outside teleport stone, all east from this stone and
some steps south, theres a river, and also a tiny place to jump down in that
river, and following that river all the way, youl simply cannot miss the
amphibian husband.
How to Beat Assassin Girl (Optional Boss):
------------------------------------------
Written by slydogg9692
Currently in Act IV and finally opened up NE Perpetua. At the end of the
screen is an optional boss called Assassin Girl.
She does one of three actions per turn:
* Insta-kills 2 random party members (ignores defense and buffs AFAIK).
* Or, uses Thousand Daggers, which brings everyone’s HP to 1, but does
not kill (again, ignores defense and buffs).
* Or spends the turn to dash back to the next phase of the fight.
-=Tips to Beat=-
* Beat her woth Glenn, Amalia, Sienne, and Egyl with no switching.
* The boss is basically one big DPS check: kill her as fast as possible.
All phases, especially the early ones, are crucial. Don’t even bother
attacking her summons.
* Glenn is there for All Break (preferably with a break extender crystal)
to debuff the boss.
* Amalia is there for rez and aoe healing once the 2nd summon comes. Equip
the Silver Lining passive to save yourself one res.
* Egyl will use Iron Will and Luring Bang to draw aggro from the boss. He
can tank two of the boss’ insta kill hits with Amalia’s Revive as a back up.
* Sienne can use Shadowstep to avoid the insta kill hits at lrast two times.
* You can probably switch around Glenn and Sienne for other DPS but I think
Amalia and Egyl are key. There may be more efficient methods (how about
the entire team having Silver Lining?) but this is how I beat her.
For reference, I beat her right before I finished the final dungeon of the game.
End Game Tips:

-=How to access the rest of the Grotto=-
Go to Raminas Tower after the story events have concluded. Get back on the
elevator and go down. There is a sub-area filled with new enemies and 600-level
weapons and armor. When you exit you’ll be back in the Grotto. There is a unique
merchant with great merchandise. To the right is Charon’s Boat. Use the coins
to access the rest of the area.
-=Ultimate Weapons=-
You need to have gotten the Golden Key in the final dungeon and beaten the story
boss on the bridge. The next area has a large library. On the right-hand side is
a book you need to read detailing the history of the weapons. This will open a
new quest you can access via the world map. Talk to the NPC and if you give him
a “Rusty” weapon with a Soul of Farnese you’ll get an ultimate weapon. You have
to find each of these items throughout the world. The Souls of Farnese are in
bright gold chests and from NPCs.
-=Ultimate Armor=-
This is all through the “Deals” section. It requires end game drops and steals
from enemies. The ultimate gear requires drops from Unique Bosses you might have
to farm. There are plenty of crystals and passives that increase drop rates. Use
your bestiary to see if you’ve already encountered some of the enemies.
-=Ultimate Sky Armor=-
The secret Grotto merchant sells the Golden Ticket you can use at the Hooge to
buy 600-level gear. You can also buy the Soul of Dayajir and upgrade that ar
mor by talking to a mechanic in the smelting room on the left. You can also get
Balthasar by paying $50K to the thief king guy you stole from to hire Ba’Thraz
at the beginning of the game. His camp is located to the south of Rockbottom.
Pretty sure you need to be level 4 with your base for the quest (Two-Winged Angel)
to pop up.
-=Elemental Tablets=-
* Kraken.
* Exit Charon’s Boat, go south, fight dimension dragon thing.
* Exit Charon’s Boat, go east, drop down to sewer mini-dungeon, boss fight at
the end.
* Mines accessed via Rockbottom. Miner’s Key is in the Goblin Village. Buy the
“human language” book, talk to goblin on the right, he dropped the key by the
merchant on the left, go to Rock Bottom, use elevator, follow the path.
* One of the tablets is in the dark area you drop into before getting to the
sewers. Go north and fight the boss, keep going forward and you’ll end up in
an oasis with the fire tablet.
* The last tablet is in the flower fields by the vine blockage which has to be
destroyed by an item you buy from the merchant in the goblin village.

How to Beat Raminas Tower Elevator Boss:
----------------------------------------
Just buff your defenses, Glenn for Ultimate, or save for Amalia Ultimate.
HP regen on, use Viktor’s HP shield when low, debuff her, kill duplicates
as you say.. etc.
You can only hit her a couple times if you time it right because she adds more mirror
images to herself if she’s out of them, so I just wait till Balthruz or Glenn can hit
her hard, or whoever your DPSer is. Everyone else is just there to keep up TP and
Defense, and hit her images.
Use a multi attack obviously to quickly take down her images. I think I used Glenn,
Sienna(blind skill also), Bal, Viktor/Amalia. But maybe Have Sienna switchable with
Amalia to put on shield aura with Viktor out there too for double healing power.
She basically would do no damage to me with all buffs up.
I would hit her for like 2k+ with Balthruz and Glenn when I got the chance, didn’t
take too long to win.
Info: Also one thing I had done previously was switch up the weapon sets between
every character and go farm quick levels in the Desert against the horses and Sand
sharks, so I got all those nice permanent stat buffs for maxing out proficiencies.
Makes the fights a lot easier.
Tips to Beat Sky Armour Fight:
------------------------------
-=Sky Armour Battle=-
* Greatsword, Bowgun <— Seraph from side quest for 50k Arc.
* Sword & Shield, Support Drones.
* Greatsword, Elemental Cannon.
* Glaive, Attack Drones.
-=Normal Battle=-
* Lenne: Glenne, buff/debuffer with Lenne using Light Coat (Rune Knight) and Glenn
with All Break.
* Sienna: Robb, Sienna max crit dmg dealer with Gambler emblem and crit up maximised,
team crit buff, Robb as debuffer with paralyze and silence (toxic and poison too).
* Mikah: Egyll, I have used only Mikah, though, for tiger combo -> full bloom, but
mainly for the ultimate – the ultimate combined with poison hit, toxic hit, light
coat and HP drain alongside the full bloom stuff is my main damage output.
* Baktraz: Amalia, mainly Amalia in full healer mode with Cres maxed out for
shielding passives.
The normal battle is much easier with Glenn having overdrive control thanks to
restrain, and the light coating which makes every attack a weakness of the final
battle.
Tactic is straightforward: glass cannon Mikah and Sienna supported with debuff,
buff and healing, Crit chance 50% and maximised attack values.
Mikahs Agi is so high, that she and Sienna usually attack twice before the boss.
