Energy Saving Guide (Early Game)
--------------------------------- Guide to Energy Saving Pace yourself and prioritize. I’m at Spring 19 sitting with all bronze tools, 13 water shrines unlocked, two temple collections done, two bag upgrades, and 40ish museum submissions, and I’ve barely used any stamina items. The temptation is to clear your farm straight away because the mess is unsightly. But, don’t. Only clear as much as you need to give yourself room to farm and to get the wood you need for the items you need. Stone… you’ll be getting tons of that in the mines and you’ll need to spend some time there in order to get bronze for tool upgrades. * Don’t make any scarecrows until you get the quest and then only make one. The caravan shop/hippy guy sells a much better scarecrow for cheap. * Only plant about a 10×10 area, max. * Yes, there are sprinklers but one of the resources needed is really rare at the beginning and you won’t be able to make more than 1-2. They also don’t cover much area. * Forage. Rummage in every trash can. Pick everything up. Sell all foragables and fish you get other than the first one that goes to the museum.↑ Top
Diving and Cavern Tips
----------------------- Honestly with diving I just remove all trash. I find it really zen. I didn’t like the cavern until after I upgraded my pick and applied enchantments to it. The bombs are nice but of course they take a lot of ore to make. Just remember to keep all artifacts duplicates after you donate one to the museum. Do not sell them you will need them for enchanting! Upgraded and enchanted tools are crazy fast!↑ Top
How to Get Money
----------------- Written by Mamushi * Currently, to get a lot of money, focus on mining and explosives. * Osmium ores sells for 150 each and gold ores sells for 50 each. It’s very easy to craft explosives with bronze and silver ores. * I don’t think any other activity in the game comes even close to mining when it comes to making money really fast.↑ Top
How to Fix the Problem of Lack of Rain
--------------------------------------- There is a workaround to guarantee any weather condition, but it’s a bit complicated and time consuming. You will need to locate the Coral Island save file directory, on your ‘C’ Drive, and copy all the files it contains to a safe location. Possibly a folder on your desktop. * ...Users/Your Name/AppData/Local/Project Coral/Saved/Saved Games * This will give you the ability to copy back those files, so you can return to the same day in the game as many times as you need. To roll your game back in time, you will need to overwrite the current files in the save folder with the ones you backed up from two days before. * The future weather condition is always set two days ahead. What I suggest, is that at the beginning of the day, (when you first wake up), you go back to sleep for another day. On the second day you check the weather forecast to see if it is going to rain the following day; (the third day). If it is, then backup that set of save files, so if you can’t catch the critter you need, you can always return to that day and have another go. * If rain is not forecast, then overwrite the files in the save folder with the files you backed up, returning your game to how it was two days before. Rinse and repeat until you get the weather condition you need. * Obviously this needs to be done a few days before the season ends, as you may lose the opportunity to catch your critter if the season changes.↑ Top
