Ativate the console
-------------------- Move into your document (C:\Users\username\Documents) and open the folder with the name of the game. In this directory is a document "config.cfg". For example, the open using Notepad and edit the following entry: -g_console "0" on g_console "1" While playing the game, press ~ tilde (which is located under the Escape key (ESC).) to display the console window. Note: You may first need to change your keyboard layout to "US" to use this function. Then, type one of the following codes and press [Enter] to activate the corresponding cheat function:

Free Fuel
---------- When you finish refuelling your truck at a service station; instead of driving away, save your game and exit. Start the game again, reload your save and drive away. The game will have forgotten to charge you for the fuel which normally happens when you drive away from the bowser.↑ Top

How To Enable Emergency Brake and Adaptive Cruise Control

Just like in real life, the emergency breaks work as follows: The truck monitors the distance between you and the other person in front of you. If the distance is too close the truck will immediately apply full brakes and hazard lights. If this is a false alarm, you as the driver can still apply gas to accelerate and abort the heavy braking. -=So how do you enable it in-game?=- Because it is a feature that isn’t fully finished by now it’s relatively hard to access this feature. First, you need to have to enable the center console (I won’t explain how to set this one up. Please look at another tutorial for that up). After that, you start the game and load your profile. * Open now your console via the button " ^ " which is located on the upper left corner of your keyboard. * Type in the console " g_emergency_brake 1 " * The number indicates whether the feature is turned off ( 0 ) or turned on ( 1 ) -=Adaptive cruise control=- Just like in real life, the adaptive cruise control works as follows: You set your speed via cruise control. The truck will pick up the speed of the truck/car in front of you and will brake if needed to keep a safe distance between you and the person in front of you. If the person in front of you accelerates, you will also automatically accelerate. -=So how do you enable it in-game?=- Because it is a feature that isn’t fully finished by now it’s relatively hard to access this feature. First, you need to have to enable the center console (I won’t explain how to set this one up. Please look at another tutorial for that up). After that, you start the game and load your profile. * Open now your console via the button " ^ " which is located on the upper left corner of your keyboard. * Type in the console " g_acc 1 " * The number indicates the distance in meters which the truck should keep between the truck/car in front of you and yourself. You can type any number from 1 to 100 (I recommend 30). -=Known bugs=- The features are all not fully implemented by SCS Software, therefore errors may occur! * Phantom braking When emergency brakes are enabled the truck will sometimes brake even when nothing is in its way * Too late braking Sometimes the truck starts to brake too late causing an accident * No braking at all Sometimes the truck won’t see anything in its path and won’t brake at all for traffic * No stopping for decals The truck doesn’t see any obstacles except traffic, so there’s no braking for light poles or boundaries!↑ Top

How to Deal with Helicopter Blocking the Road
---------------------------------------------- Written by Applecat Easy ways to handle if you got jebaited by GPS and missed the cops road blocks. When this happens it’s usually because the player missed the road blocks at the previous exit, since GPS wouldn’t notify you either. -=Easiest Way to Deal With It=- Crashing it doesn’t work. If there’s no open space on both sides and you can’t squeeze in or it’s difficult to reverse, just press "F7" and call for the tow service to the nearest city. Turn off “Detour” in Gameplay settings if you don’t want it to happen again.↑ Top
