Throughout the world of Far Cry 6 are NPC characters and objects 
marked with exclamation points. Make sure you speak to them or examine 
the objects, as doing so will enable you to gather Intel or find out 
about cheats and enemy bases. Check out our Guerilla Camps Guide to

Use the Radar:
--------------
Make sure you use the radar, this useful gadget can be found in the 
bottom left corner of the screen and has several uses. The most 
important use it has is its ability to give you the approximate 
location of enemies - they are symbolized by different colored
circles, as this knowledge allows you to prepare for the possible 
confrontation or avoid the area altogether. The radar also has 
icons that signify various things, such as enemy controlled 
machines and chests with loot.



Stealth Is an Effective Solution to Overwhelming Odds:
------------------------------------------------------
Stealth is a very effective tool. As a result, if the player is 
struggling with a particular encounter, they should consider using 
stealth to shift the odds in their favor. Generally speaking, this 
means using silent means to eliminate enemies on the outskirts, 
concealing their bodies, and then working inwards. The fewer the 
survivors, the easier the encounter becomes once the player chooses 
to go loud. On a related note, it is worth mentioning that there are 
both alarms and cameras in this game, so a player choosing to use 
stealth will need to keep a watchful eye out for those as well.

-=Knowing the Enemy=-
As you know, Ubisoft returned to Steam with a lot of disregard for 
players, either by releasing inferior versions or even without controlling 
the gamepad in some cases. In the case of Far Cry 6 it was no different. 
In this version of Far Cry 6, we don’t have the option to choose what we 
want to download from extra files or not, making it mandatory to download 
more than 60GB of extra files. By this guide I will indict how to remove 
this extra content in case unwanted.

-=Confronting the Enemy=-
Before deleting files, you first need to know where they are located. To 
do this, right-click the Far Cry 6 Steam shortcut, then go to “Manage” 
and then click “Browse local files”

After opening the game folder, open the folders data_final -> pc -> worlds

Inside the worlds folder, you can find all the voice over files in different 
languages inside that folder. Among them:

* fc6_lem0020
* fctber_disk
* fctber_dlc
* fctworlds

You can delete all the files with _language that you are not using, leaving 
only the files in the voice over you want to play the game. As I am Brazilian 
and intend to play with the Brazilian Portuguese voice over, I will leave the 
ones with _brazilian. You can do this for the voice over you prefer.

In addition to these dubbing files, another monstrous 44GB file also resides 
in this folder, in this case it would be the installpkg_hd, referring to the 
HD texture pack, which for some reason Ubisoft did not leave it as optional. 
If you are not going to use it, you can also delete it.

-=Declaring Your Victory=-
After that, you will have removed +65GB of unnecessary files from the game’s 
installation. Files that Ubisoft could have left as optional, but chose not 
to do so.



How to Transfer Save File Between Platforms:

Without using any painful file management, but requires installs of Far Cry 6 
on both platforms you’re transferring across.

-=Step 1=-
* First, open Far Cry 6 on the platform you wish to transfer FROM 
  (typically Ubisoft Connect).
* After that, click the “SELECT SAVE GAME” button from the main menu.
* Then, you’ll want to click the “upload cloud save” button on the save 
  you want to transfer (shown in image).

-=Step 2=-
* Now that your save has been uploaded, open Far Cry 6 on the platform you 
  want to transfer your save TO (Typically Steam).
* After that, click the “SELECT SAVE GAME” button from the main menu.
* Then, you’ll want to click the “download cloud save” button on the save 
  you want to transfer (shown in image).

-=Other somewhat important information.=-
This method may not work if you haven’t linked your Steam account to your 
Ubisoft account, but i have done this and it also transferred all my DLC 
(purchased on Ubisoft Connect), “Far Cry Credits”(and purchases that used 
them) and Ubisoft’s “Units” currency (also including purchases).
