Fear & Hunger 2: Termina
Cheat Codes:
------------
Submitted by: David K.
Beginners Tips:
---------------
* Abella is also really easy early recruit.
* There are spots that you can mark with chalk. Fear & Hunger allows you
to save without sleeping (limited amount) and Salvia can restore limbs.
These can be relatively helpful.
* Safe zones restore sanity. Certain characters such as Daan and Henrik
can also restore stats if they are recruited/saved and left here.
* Try talking, especially if you have saved recently. Certain strong foes
can be defeated or slowed down by doing this.
* Search everything. Barrels and boxes have really good items in them
sometimes. Rotten meat isn’t entirely useless.
* Return to places. The contestants will appear in different places and
you could miss events by going some place early and never returning or
waiting until very late to return.
* Use glass and throw it at the enemies head. This will cause them to miss
80% of their shots. This is crucial in the early game until you get better
equipment and more party members.
* Aim for their limbs, mostly their arms. I’m sure you’ve figured that one
out by now though.
* You should rush and try and recruit at least one party member before
entering Prehvail. Daan is a great first choice and easy to find.
* Avoid fighting as much as possible. Very few enemies are worth fighting,
there are ones (Priest for example) who drop soul stones, those are the
only ones worth killing.
* Hoard as much green and blue herbs as possible.
* You will find a crazy amount of books used for magic in the orphanage.
* Also try not to save too often as it advances time.
How to Kill Heartless One on Maso Mode:
---------------------------------------
Normal Mode: Brown Vial alone lets you not die in a single turn.
So heal up and spam black orb.
Maso Mode: Brown Vial is nowhere near enough for you to survive a single turn.
-=How to Kill Heartless One=-
As it turns out, almost all of her attacks are magic based in nature so applying
a purifying talisman and equipping a Soul Devour Necklace before going into the
fight heavily reduces the damage you take.
She also isn’t immune to DoT, so tossing a Murky Vial at her for burn and hitting
her with bleed if you have the option works well.
Where to Find Gas Canisters:
----------------------------
Random loot drops mostly, plus some other locations that have them but all of
them are in the city. Unfortunately, I believe doing that screws you out of the
gate key and the sewer keys are inaccessible if you go into the tunnels.
I’ve read that in this situation a suitcase on the train opens up to have bolt
cutters, which you can use to cut the lock on the city gates, but if this isn’t
true some alternative options to get into the city are:
* If you have Lockpicking, you can open the sewer gate at the riverbank that way.
* If you have a small key or lockpicking, you can take Abella with you to a shack
in the eastern slums of Old Town and enter Tunnel 5. This leads to a gate
leading into the sewers, once again.
* If you have the bible of Vinushka and a piece of chalk, you can draw his symbol
on the ritual circle in the ruined shack north of the train and get into the
city through the woods.
Guide on Using Glass Shards:
----------------------------
Written by DimmyLimmy
-=Overview=-
* Where do you begin with finding the legendary glass shard.
* This item is extremely easy to find in much of the map, it is found in almost
every house in Prehevil, you can usually find it on the floor in a pile.
* Glass Shards are a consumable item that if used on an enemy’s head will have a
70% chance of blinding the opponent, which means that the hit rate of the opponent
will be -75% than normal.
* To know if you have successfully blinded the opponent, this icon will appear
-=Risks
There are certain risks with using glass shards on enemies, for example,
* Being hit directly after using them
* Being unlucky and being hit through blindness
* And straight up just missing the glass shards.
-=Example=-
* During my own Termina playthough I used glass shards only a couple of times.
* One Enemy that I used it on when they were causing me trouble was that of Needles.
* Because he can really hurt you and your party, so my best course of action was
to blind him and beat him up while he couldn’t see.
* I was able to destroy both of his arms but the goat did get hit though blindness
and died.
