Beater and Seeker Tips:
-----------------------
-=Beater Strategy=-
When I play Beater, I follow a target list to keep things under
control, but I adjust depending on how the game’s going:
* Go after the enemy Beater first: Taking out their Beater is priority
number one. If they’re out, it gives your team more freedom to make
plays and less pressure from bludgers.
* Focus on Quaffle plays: Once their Beater is down, switch your focus
to the Quaffle. Help your Chasers score or mess with the other team.
* When the Snitch comes up, stick to the Beater: Keep pressuring the
enemy Beater. If they’re still up, your Seeker’s at risk, so take them
down before worrying about the Snitch. If their Seeker has that perk
where they get a speed boost dodging bludgers, it’s tougher to focus
on them while the Beater’s around, so clear the path first.
* Target the Keeper: Depending on how they play, going after the Keeper
can be super rewarding, especially if they’re being aggressive with
other roles.
-=Quaffle Tips=-
Something I’ve noticed—if you wait for your broom to hit top speed before
going for a tackle or grab on the Quaffle (like right after a Snitch catch
or at the start), it feels like your range is bigger. I’m still figuring
it out, but it seems like going for it when you’re at full boost gives
you an edge.
-=Seeker Build=-
For Seekers, I was all about the Red tree at first, but now I’m a Green
build guy all the way. Here’s what I roll with:
* 2 Red
* 6 Green
* 2 Blue
Yeah, call me crazy, but this build is solid. Green is OP for sure, giving
you the range to really help you generate meter when falling behind, or
taking turns that may put you at temp distance away from the snitch.
