How to Easy Beat Moorwing:
--------------------------
* You can fight Moorwing by luring him to the entrance of his arena.
* Repeatedly using a downward aerial attack on him will defeat him.
* This method works well with the reaper weapon.
* The hunter weapon will likely work too, but you would need to be in
a good position to hit him. The crest that lets you use Hollow Knight
abilities probably also works.
* Another option is the flurry silk art from the craws. It deals a
lot of damage quickly, and Moorwing can’t hit you while you are using
it, so you won’t need to heal.
-=Bonus: How to Cheese Widow=-
To beat this boss, you can use the reaper style or the wanderer style.
For the first phase, you will have to figure things out on your own,
but here are a few tips:
- The Thread Storm attack is effective against the boss’s charge attack.
- You can heal when the boss uses its ground spike attack.
- For the second phase, which is the most difficult, you just need to
stay in a corner and jump when the boss, called Widow, charges at you.
275 Rosaries Per Minute / Farming Guide:
----------------------------------------
Written by Maro
To use this farming method, you need the double jump ability. If you don’t
have it, you can still do this, but it will be slow. It’s better to just
play the game and come back later.
-=Location=-
The location is the upper area of Choral Chambers. You have to beat the
Cogwork Dancers to open the path. This path connects two hallways that
have five guards. Each guard normally drops 32 rosaries.
-=Tools=-
The math for this is 32 times 5, which is 160, not 275.
To get more rosaries, you need the Thief’s Mark tool. You can buy it at
the shop in Blasted Steps near the Bellway station. This tool requires
the double jump ability. It makes each guard drop 55 rosaries instead of
32. This tool is very important.
Other tools can help you do this faster.
I have tried different ones and these are my favorites:
* I use the Wanderer’s Crest, Slikspeed Anklets for faster running, Barbed
Bracelet and Flintslate for more needle damage, and Longclaw to hit
enemies more easily. For the Silk Skill, I use Cross Stitch to block
attacks instead of dodging.
* Other tools that also work are Flea Brew instead of Flintslate, and
Shard Pendant to get shards while you farm. You could also use Magnetite
Brooch so you don’t have to wait for the rosaries to drop.
A tip: try not to get hit because the Thief’s Mark tool makes you drop
rosaries when you take damage. With the right tools and skills, you can
beat the guards quickly. You can also wait to upgrade your needle before
you start farming.
How to Unlock Path to True Ending:
----------------------------------
Written by spaces
To get the real ending, you need to do a lot of exploring. Don’t look at
a map, because it can ruin the game’s story.
You can’t miss the true ending. Just explore as much as you can, finish
every quest, and talk to everyone. A path will eventually open up for you.
The exact steps to get this ending are not completely clear. If you already
beat Grand Mother Silk and got an ending, you might be confused about what
to do next.
-=Here is what seems to be required=-
* Beat the game once.
* Complete all quests.
* Unlock the double jump.
* Advance the flea story line to the Pale Lake area. You must first find the
location behind Putrified Ducts. To get there, you need to find a secret
entrance above the Songclave, which is accessed from a secret entrance in
the Memorium.
* Get an item after beating the boss of Bilewater.
* After doing all this, a new quest will appear in one of the towns. This
quest should be easy to follow, and finishing it will make the way to the
true ending clear.
How to Make Fighting Last Judge Easier:
---------------------------------------
Written by Waddledee
-=Phase #1=-
The boss jumps forward and can either land normally or slam its bell into the
ground. It also has an attack where it pulls its arm back and throws the bell
forward, then pulls it back to its hand. It can also make a small orange
circle with its bell, then follow up with a larger circle around itself.
-=Phase #2=-
This phase always starts with a roar and a circle attack. During this move,
fire trails spread out from the boss. The boss also jumps and slams its bell,
creating a delayed fire trail on the ground. Its bell-toss attack now explodes
with fire before the bell returns to the boss. It can also step back and dash
forward, leaving a delayed trail of fire pillars.
-=Phase #3=-
The boss will do a roar followed by a longer version of the fire and circle
attack. It also uses a regular fire and circle attack, but there is less
space to dodge the fire. All other attacks from Phase 2 are still in its moveset.
Once you land the final hit, the boss explodes in a large circle.
Tips for Dealing Damage:
------------------------
Written by Waddledee
* The best times to attack are right after the boss finishes certain moves.
* After the Bell Slam, you can get in a couple of hits if you are next to the
boss. If you are farther away, you can either hit it once or not at all,
since the Circle Attack that follows can easily hit you.
* When the boss does a Jump, you can attack once if you are close enough.
* You can attack at other times if you can do so without taking damage. These
are just the easiest opportunities to get hits in.
