Explanation of Glory System
---------------------------- Requirements to get a glory point increase with each point you get. However, with the +1% glory gain per glory you have, you pretty much get a slightly increasing glory gain until you reach into the millions, where it pretty much stagnates, and you get about the same amount of glory per kill all the time no matter how much glory you have (this happens around 10-15m in my experience). How much glory you farm per ascension is ultimately up to you. However, at around doubling your current amount is where you will notice a slow- down (less glory per kill), so usually most people will recommend only doubling your current glory and then ascending. I did 24h runs as that suited my daily schedule, and in the beginning, I got 4x my current glory, then 3x, then 2x, then just doubled. Now I’m at the point where I seemingly get the same amount of glory per kill even if I double my current amount of glory (which isn’t a big deal; I’m already at 180m total, and all you need to complete the glory tree is 14.3m, I think it was).↑ Top
Quick Guide to Efficient Farming
--------------------------------- Written by Shrubbie I carried a little analysis on gold, glory and exp farming. Summary: I compared Shadow Run on Front End and Normal run and Shadow Run on Dead End. The output is quite different. I use a talent build aimed at maximizing critics which will increase overall speed through shadow run, unstoppable and blood hunger talents. * Berserker: 1–5/3–1/0–4/1–(5,5)–3/0/3–1/2/1–1 * Assassin: 1–5–2/5–5/1–5/1–3/1–0/1/0–0/1 -=TLDR=- Shadow runs reward 2.8 times more gold, glory and experience than normal speed runs on the same map. Though Shadow Run is harder to trigger with tougher monsters, there is a trick to activate it almost 100% of the time. If you can’t activate SR on your hardest map, you have to compromise between gold and glory/exp. The previous map at equivalent codex cost (17 for DF and 15 for DE) will reward 2.5 times more gold than a normal run on the next map.↑ Top
