Sector Specialization Requirements & Bonuses:
---------------------------------------------
Written by FxFighter

Sectors can receive specialization bonuses by meeting a minimum number
of buildings built that have the same symbol. The buildings do not need
to be active.

-=Space T1=-
Requirement: 4 buildings.
Bonus: Docking bays load/unload 30% faster, Hull repair 10% more efficient.

-=Space T2=-
Requirement: 7 buildings.
Bonus: Docking bays load/unload 30% faster, Hull repair 10% + 20% more efficient
(not sure if this is stacking or just 20%), Probes/Ships assembled 30% faster.

-=Food T1=-
Requirement: 6 buildings.
Bonus: Food buildings require 10% less water, Buildings produce 30% more waste.

-=Food T2=-
Requirement: 12 buildings
Bonus: Food buildings require 10% less water, all buildings produce 30% more waste,
Sector +1 Stability.

-=Industry T1=-
Requirement: ? buildings.
Bonus: Batteries last 20% longer.

-=Industry T2=-
Requirement: 12 buildings.
Bonus: Batteries last 20% longer, Repairs are 30% faster.

Accident Prevention Tips:
-------------------------
Written by Tuman

If you have a problem with accidents, some tips you may find useful.

You need more survivors for each section to not get frequently accidents.

If you check left bottom and ratio of ideal number to not get frequently
accidents, you will realize, you are missing that ‘warning’ beacause, lack
of information.

You have to explore quickly and find survivors, revive from the tubes and make
sure that you are set them to sections where they required the most.

Guide to Waste Production:
--------------------------
Written by happy1dog

-=Waste Per Building=-
They don’t give you the amount of waste made by each building for the majority
of waste creating buildings, here is a quick list to help anyone do the math
for waste management.

* Tech Lab: 1 waste per cycle at cycle start.
* Electronics Factory: 1 per completed transform.
* Polymer Refinery: 1 per completed transform.
* Steel Mill: 1 per completed transform.
* Fusion Station: 1 per completed transform.
* Crop Farm (with Crop Fields): 13 per completed transform at x9 Fields.
* Algae Farm (with Algae Plantations): 9 per completed transform at x4 Plantations
  (+1 per extra plantation).
* Nuclear Power Plant: 1 per Hydrogen.

-=Housing Waste=-
* Housing waste is 1 per 20 pop every 15 cycles in crew quarters
  (and upgraded housing)
  = 0.05 per 20 pop per cycle —— or ———- 1 waste per cycle at 400 pop.
* Cell Housing is 1 waste per 20 pop every 5 cycles
= 0.2 per 20 pop per cycle ——–or———– 1 waster per cycle at 100 pop.

How to Produce More Energy with Nuclear Power Plants:
-----------------------------------------------------
There’s a slider that lets you set how much energy is produced based on how
much Hydrogen is used.

* Baseline is -25 energy needed for +75 produced with 3 Hydrogen.
* Each additional Hydrogen increases output by +25 up to a max of +200 output.
* Can be useful if you’re in a sector with storms or ice that can damage solar panels.
* If a panel is damaged you can quickly ramp up Nuclear output to compensate.

-=Notes=-
* The description seem to be incorrect though. As you get +200 power for 8 Hydrogen.
So 25 power per 1 Hydrogen.

* The reactor itself does need 20 power itself though, so your net output is 180.
But can be reduced to 10 with research.

* I think another good use is to run it while on battery travel. As it seems to
extend your battery time. Though i haven’t property tested this to say for
  sure it does that.

* It is also useful to boost recharge rate of batteries while not traveling.

* By the time you reach chapter 4, assuming you stripped mine everything in previous
chapters. You should have enough to run one non stop for about a year.

Beginner Tips to Crew and Power Management:
-------------------------------------------
So, since many seem to be struggling with the proper storage management, and
crew management in case of accidents, etc., here a small array of tips for
early game.

* Don’t overstore, rather build stuff you know you will need, and set to unpowered
state before it gets finished (It still counts towards specialization bonus). Once
you need it and have prepared the power and people you need, simply pull the switch
  on it.

* That especially counts before leaving a sector that still has considerable amounts
of Iron and such remaining. Build, then restock to full on everything, before jumping.

Shuffle enabling and disabling required buildings, as responses to accidents, or even
better: prior to accidents happening. If you have 3 cryo storages full, and one half
way, disable the three full ones and only leave the “open” one going. Saves you people
and power. Same goes for any other building. Power buildings on and off as you need
them. No sense in keeping those electronics storages running, if you are not building
anything producing or requiring them. Stuff will remain safely stored, it will just
not get shipped to or from. Same goes for functional buildings. If you surveyed the
whole sector, shut those probe launchers down.

* One building you should not power down, however, if you can avoid it, is the science
building. It will produce one science point every 30 cycles. That sounds horribly long,
but if you strip mine every sector you come across, that pays off. In case of manpower
requirements, short term, in case of accidents or whatever it is ofc fair game, Upgraded
the science output becomes even more important.

* Just keep in mind, this is not a game where you can build a building and then forget
about it. Crew management is a thing, and powering down the right building at the right
time, will prevent any negative impacts from happening.

* Last: Don’t rush out of a system. If you do, you will get crushed. Take your time to
get all points of interest, all important resource nodes, etc. scanned and taken care of,
before you leave. Use your probes in first level.

I hope this helps some people to get better in dealing with what the game throws at them.
