Tips for New Players:
---------------------
Look closely at the track of the quest you have in front of you. You can
usually see what you will be doing later down the line and this is one of
those games that only counts what you are doing when you have the quest.
So! If you see you have a quest down your track coming up that is about
leveling up your Mercs, then dont level them up until you get there.
This is one of those mobile type games that makes you feel like you have
infinite resources and can do everything and then your experience will
suddenly feel like the opposite of that.
So be wary of your resources smutty friends and think a-head.
Examples of types of quest tracks that seems to be looping around so far:
* Level up mercenaries x times.
* Gain gems x amount.
* Open up crates (from dailies and battles) x amount.
* Find “shards”(cards to level up cards) x amount.
* Recruit (buy card packs with gems or tokens you get from ex. my code)
x times.
* Spend the resource for leveling up cards x amount (big one to save on,
since they get increasingly harder).
* Then there is an event you get pretty early where you need to specifically
find certain cards in drops or certain rarity.
And then lastly there are quests that are super-easy as they are always doable
as winning battles and dropping out your cards etc.
How to Beat the Event Boss Faye:
--------------------------------
Faye is the wall for new accounts. If you’re just starting out, it may be very
hard or borderline impossible to beat her.
Regina is huge for beating her early, but if you don’t have her, I’d recommend
using whatever heals you have (Purple Regina is a good filler if you don’t have
the Legendary) and focusing on killing their merc every time instead of direct
damage to the boss since that will wipe out your line.
If you can manage to kill their team and get a bit of damage to her here and
there, you can win out in the end.
Another consideration is using Purple Zara (Princess of the Dunes), since she
will kill a random Syndicate when she dies.
-=Conclusion=-
It’s really, really hard to beat her unless you overpower her or if you have
Regina. This may be the end of the ride for this event for you, I wouldn’t
spend too much trying to beat her because it may not happen.
Guide to Finish 3 Girls Event with Average Luck:
------------------------------------------------
-=Target=
* 74k tokens and 3 saved bonus roulettes.
-=What I had=-
* League 10
* 7 crate slots
* Hard play – open all crates ~8 times/day
* 12 tickets + 2100 emers (all spent)
-=Result=-
Got 74k in 5 days:
* 36k from quests
* 15k from lucky bonus (3/14 leg spins, 0/1 bonus spin. So it’s AVERAGE luck)
* 23k from Bosses and crates :
* Crates(hard play) ~2200/day
* Bosses(no buying attempt) ~2300/day
-=What I’ve done with hard quests=-
* Spend 200: 360 on excess crates
* Spend 500: 540 on excess crates (failure to get all 3 epics made do this quest)
* 1 leg crate: battle pass
* 360 leg shards: battle pass + summoning milestone reward
* 30k tokens: SKIPPED
* 20x summon: 10 tickets + 1200 emers
-=Note/Advice=-
* I can still reach target with 10k lucky tokens. But 5k or less will be disater
* Difference of total income base on crate slots: ~1800/slot
* League lvl is important, it makes quests easier for you
(getting shard, reaching lvl,). Recommendation is league 12+
* That was my normal battle pass, I used up all 3 leg crates this event.
Next time I will need to save some leg crates.
Resources Tips:
---------------
* Really important Don’t Collect your Emerix on epic Quests/Battle Pass/Weekly
and Monthly for as long as possible until an Exo Bonds/3 Girls event asks you
to find X amount of Emerix.
* Only level up the units you’re currently using to advance in leagues but save
all your other cards until a Military Exercise is running.
* Keep as many cards as possible in lower rarities to modify them into Legendaries.
* Spend your credits in Credit Craze 3 days after it started as we should get
Military Exercise (Monday every 2 weeks).
* Try holding at least one legendary crate for a 3 Girl event.
* You should go back in lower league a couple hours before a 3 Girls event ends
as we should get a Choose a Merc event and the cards requirements will be
greatly lowered (Friday every 2 weeks) (ONLY if you’re planning to finish the
event which requires 15 recruitments).
* Try clearing some Exo Bonds quests together with main event quests (for example
if your current Exo Bonds quest asks you to recruit wait until you have a similar
mission in the current main event as you would use less resources for it).
* Spend Emerix ONLY when there’s an event on recruitment or on crates (speed up).
* Save as much serum as possible for a 3 Girl event.
* Read all tasks/quest from an event/Exo Bonds and plan things before doing them.
* Wait at least until Monday to use your Exo Bonds as we get Miss Fortune event
and you could get some exo bonds there.
* Exo Bonds: Until you’re league 16 you’ll get more legendaries by buying epics
so i would recommend buying epics only, until you reach league 16. The Modification
rate is 20 epics for 1 Legendary.
* Event Roulette: It’ll always be better to spin in legendary roulette but you’ll
need to get the main event girl’s epic card in the epic roulette otherwise you
won’t be able to modify her rare cards into legendary.
* Current main event Girl: (idk if Regina is a main girl), Nymeria, O-Rinn, Harper
(she’s kinda an exception cuz you can get her epic card with referral), LoLa,
Rose.
* The best packs imo are Crate Slots -> Monthly Battle Pass (second month as Battle
Pass scales to your current max league, which makes the first month kinda bad) ->
Monthly Emerix -> Combat Packs -> then it’s really whatever you want.
Tips to Counter Poison:
-----------------------
kill Ivy fast. Madelaine or Trixie are good for killing her turn 1 when she is
hidden behind obstacles. Or Regina on different node for ramping heal + poison
immunity. Or supres later when she is hidden behind tanks
-=Only works partly though=-
* End of Ivy’s turn: Ivy applies poison.
* Start of Florence’s turn: the poison triggers, which in turn triggers damage
to the Commander.
* End of Florence’s turn: Florence removes the poison.
* Ivy is all about poison and Florence is the only card which has antidote
(remove poison), so she seems like Ivy’s natural counter.
But since it’s an ‘end of turn’ effect, it only makes sure that Ivy can’t stack
poison and that you won’t lose any more Mercs to it after she’s gone from the field.
But you still need her gone.
So yeah…
Killing or suppressing her as soon as possible is the best way to go, with Regina as a
back-up plan.
Tips to Upgrade Purples:
------------------------
* First, Three girl event when the spesific (relation to kaya for praire flower case)
mercenary need to reboot 3 time (1 of a kind) so lvl it up to lvl 16 is still worth.
* Second helicoper race quest, when you have to lvl certain purple.
* You will replace all the deck with the legendary when you have gain it, but it is
still worth it to lvl up for push rank.
* Only upgrade the same event purple event merc to lvl 6 and then reboot to R1, then
stop upgrading.
-=My Strat and Tips=-
* I upgrade epic as a combination of heli quest+Military exercise.
* I don’t want to do legendary because I could use those “chances” for golden legion.
* I don’t want to do too much rare because I need to keep all my rare at lv 10 for 3
merc (so that they don’t auto finish the “get to lv 11” node, so that I can dual-
finish the path. I will use the next available opportunity to reborn and re-up to 10).
* So epic is the easy target, I just upgrade whichever meets the criteria that are
cheapest.
* But as far as for actual “use” go… there are a few that have decent abilities that
you only use in special circumstances.
* For example, Razor Mantis is the only melee suppress right now, so if you really
need to silence an elusive unit(instead of outright killing them) for some reason,
it might be useful.
* Iron lady is kind of a worse salma, so if you don’t have salma or really want a
secondary, that might be useful.
* And, of course, there is the consideration that epics are almost 10 times easier
to level than legendries. A maxed (R5L31) Epic at 17:1 mod rate would only get you
a R3L19 Legendary. And the former will have fair a bit more stat.
* Although that is undercut by the fact that the latter can keep growing while the
former can’t as well as legendary usually having much better ability (and are
selected mainly based on ability). But in the case of, for example, iron lady
where the legendary is underwhelming, it might be worth considering–a very
durable “second salma” might be a pretty good thing to have.
How to Understand Fighting:
---------------------------
Written by paladinofmm
-=First tech=-
Well, you need to look at each merc abilities and understand their mechanics. You can
also click on ur opponent commander pic to open up and see the list of merc. Once you
play more often with different merc and encounter different merc. Then you understand
them how each merc plays a part in the combat.
-=Second tech=-
There is another technique to learn without losing and dropping the league points and
this technique requires you to join an alliance that has 1 or more members. You can
view the members in the alliance and challenge them in combat with your merc against
that member’s commander and merc at that point of time.
Even if you lose to that member, you don’t drop any points in league. Even if you win
a match against the member, you do not gain any credits or crates. So this way of
challenge will help you figure out the merc and abilities, as well as the commander.
-=Conclusion=-
However, take note that when you challenge a member in alliance, his team total power
might be higher or lower than yours, may not be close to where you are. Usually when
you fight to win/lose league points, the opponent power is some what close to yours
based on your current league.
Tips to Complete Chapter 3 for F2P:
-----------------------------------
You can buy it’s really hard and you may have to get lucky if you are playing
through nutaku I recommend getting their free currency through calenders and getting
an extra chest slot.
To unlock event scenes it is possible f2p you just have to plan ahead. don’t waste
your gems or microchips don’t immediately redeem items from battle pass as they can
be used to progress some of the event quests. Unless you really want the scene to the
ongoing event don’t commit to the event. in-between the scenes you really want just
use those events to get troops and some gems for a future event with a better scene.
You want to open as much win chests as possible during the event for points I recommend
joining an alliance and buying the chest bonus with in game currency you may have to
get lucky with some spin’s to get extra free spins and progress the event quest in
order to unlock but there’s nothing you can do that effects your luck. It’s doable but
hard.
-=Required leagues=-
"Required" I would say is L16, as anything below you would be unlikely to defeat the
final boss.
However, the higher the league, the lower the cost, up to L10. This is primarily due to
the get 350 legendary node–L10 only need to force grind 2 legendary crate, each league
below roughly requires one more (which is another 179 gems)
If and when you reach L10, which might take 8 month to a year for a ftp, you can do
it at about 25% rate. L12 is probably like 20%, and below that the gem cost is so
high that the rate would be lower.
Guide to Lilith Mercenary:
--------------------------
Written by Daa
-=Skills=-
* On play: debuffs all enemies’ attack for one turn.
* On enemy spawn: Gain health.
* Start of turn: Gain attack equal to a percentage of current health.
* Outfit ability: End of turn: Steal 15% of her current health from all enemies who have
reduced attack.
-=About this merc=-
* Poison triggers after her start of turn attack gain.
* Lilith outfit’s health steal seems to go through force shield without breaking them.
I’m not sure if it’s intended.
-=Playing with=-
* Lilith is designed to quickly gain a lot of attack with her third skill. A popular
combo is Lilith followed by Faye; don’t force that combo though, as it is a little all-
in and can lose you the game if Lilith gets shut down.
* Only play Lilith on an empty board if you have checked their squad and know they can’t
neutralize her (mostly with agility mercs). Baiting out a suppress isn’t too bad.
* Know exactly how much attack debuff she gives; it can mean the huge difference between
being able to stop Florence or Lucretia from attacking one turn or not.
-=Playing against=-
* Try to either block or do some damage to her the turn she’s played (to reduce her attack
again), otherwise she will slice your face open the next turn.
* She WILL kill her own commander against Wanda’s 3rd skill.
-=Summary=-
Lilith is stat dependent yet her stat growth is not the best, but at least her attack
debuff slows the game and helps her develop for a turn. She’s more useful when she is
relatively high level in your squad. B tier in lower leagues where board is fuller, down
to C tier at higher leagues.
-=Relationship bonus=-
The stat boost is great for Lilith, as the health counts as an attack boost too. The outfit
ability combos well with Gia’s/Ceres’s second skill, as she deals board-wide damage. Both
stat boost and outfit make her much harder to kill, but she’s still vulnerable to agility/
Beck/suppress. A tier outfit.
Commander Gia Guide:
--------------------
-=Gia’s Skills=-
* Turn 1: Poison all enemies.
* Turn 3: Kill all wounded enemies.
* Turn 7: Deploy 4 spies with 1 HP.
-=Skill Usage=-
Gia’s kit is very offensive and does not interact with your side of the board in any way
until turn 7. In general, play her skills aggressively to keep the opponent’s board clear
while developing your own. Gia’s first skill looks like a natural one-two combo with her
second. In reality, you want more options than just her first skill to help activate the
second. Lola and Skye are amazing options, with skills that lets the enemy injure themselves
on their turn so that you can kill them when your turn starts with no prep.
Her first skill is generally used in four ways: pushing some extra damage so you can clear
a merc; activating poison synergies in your squad; setting up for her second skill next turn;
and wasting it to get to the second skill. As long as you have other activators for Gia’s
second, do not be afraid to use the poison for edge cases like activating Lucretia’s poison
buffs when she can’t attack for some reason. Better that than a complete waste.
Her second skill is her premium ability, and requires good judgement on when to activate.
Knowing when to use it (i.e., waiting more in control-type matches and less against aggro)
is something that comes with practice. The second skill can be far better than suppress
since it removes the merc completely instead of leaving the stats on the board. Perfect for
battling a squad that has higher power or raw stats than yours.
Her third skill is a mixed bag. While often irrelevant, they have a variety of uses, such
as clearing out Sixtine blast stims, pushing for extra damage, creating a wall (better with
Lola in play), pushing extra heal (with Skye), and fodder for Salma buff or Trixie.
Definitely not something you want to work towards intentionally, but usually a pleasant
surprise if you make it that far.
-=Synergies=-
Everyone refers to Gia as “the poison commander”, but she’s so much more than that! Freemen
often have multiple ways to poison enemies already and rarely need that synergy. If anything,
it’s her second skill that would synergize better with a poison squad, as you would expect
the enemies to constantly be wounded from poison.
No, Gia’s best synergy is not with a freeman. That title goes to Lola:
* Lola’s set to 5 + Gia poison = kill ANY range enemy without a shield
* Lola’s set to 5 + Gia poison + Piercing alliance bonus = kill ANY shielded range hiding
behind something unless it’s a skinned Kitty that blinds Lola
* Lola’s shield expiry on enemy turn lets you use 2nd skill straight after
* Makes some of the turn 7 spies require 2 hits to kill instead of one and do extra AOE damage
I’ll go as far as saying that Lola is the only must-have merc in a Gia-led squad, and allows
your squad to punch above its weight.
Consider synergies with Skye, Bloom, Lilith with outfit, Eve for the same reason: activating
Gia’s second skill. Gia’s poison works well with Lucretia and Ivy.
-=Counters=-
Gia doesn’t really need a counter, because the AI-controlled Gia counters itself pretty hard.
Her poison is thrown out at turn 1 regardless of the board state, and it is extremely easy to
bait out her second skill. In terms of worst enemies, Gia suffers against immunity mercs and
most of all against Kitty. Her second skill is blocked by shields from executing wounded
enemies; it just removes the shield instead. Try to cleanse poison and infect when you can,
as they can wound your mercs and make them vulnerable.
Note that when Lola or Morana sets HP to 5 and 1 respectively, the affected mercs are
considered not wounded (their HP number will be green). If you ever cleanse the “set to X HP”,
the mercs will keep their 5 or 1 hp but will be wounded, meaning that they can be healed back
up but are also vulnerable to Gia again.
