How to Find Ebony Cat:

In this guide i will inform where i find Ebony. It’s important to find
him because he can give you high amount of Arcane Knowledge, Resources,
Improve your Status and even Starting Conditions on Battles.

* He can be find in front of the sofá.

* Between the Bar and the Piano he is there.
-=The Shop=-
* Right when you go in the entrance of The Shop he is there.

* In the Right side of the Altar he is there.

Guide to the Offering Bowl Rewards:

A quick list of which power words to use on which offering in the bowl.
-=The Guide=-
To use the Offering Bowl you need to first obtain an artifact that you
obtained as a mission reward.
After obtaining the artifact you can research it at the forge, which i
ncreases your research level and gives you one of 4 different artifact
types.
If you place this artifact in the offering bowl at night and use a word
of power, you will obtain a reward.
You get bonus rewards if you use the correct power word to match the item.
* Book - Open.
* Wand - Reveal.
* Bowl - Purify.
* Knife - Break.
Some Gameplay Tips from Lead Designer:
--------------------------------------
* Bring every hero on a mission at least once to unlock their research projects
in the Forge! Each hero has a mini tech tree and their first research is revealed
once they go on any mission. Complete that first project to see the rest!
* Heroes will earn a small friendship boost by going on combat missions with
the Hunter. If the Hunter isn’t on the mission…well, it’s hard to become better
friends with someone who isn’t there!
* A Gamma Coil’s hero ability cards will always match the heroes who went on
the mission which rewarded it. (The associated hero icons will appear in the
tooltip when hovering over the Coil.) If you’re looking to get cards for a
specific hero, bring them on missions!
* Once a hero has gone on enough missions, non-upgraded modded cards can start
appearing for them in Gamma Coils. These modded cards can still be upgraded;
they require more Essence, but do not require a duplicate card.
* A mod can be salvaged off of a card for a small amount of Essence. This
removes the mod but doesn’t salvage the full card. This can be useful if you
have a modded card but want to use it as a duplicate for an upgrade.
* Combat Items can be salvaged too! Opening Arcane Chests can be a great way
to discover & collect new Combat Items.
* Using all steps of a Chain ability which applies a status effect against a
single target will stack the effect! Each “chain” in the attack counts separately.
For example, using Blade’s “Strike” with Chain 2 + Apply 2 Bleed on one target
will result in them having 4 Bleed.
* The Library is an excellent source of Arcane Knowledge. Read the new books
every day to get quick boosts toward your next Arcane Level. You can tell a book
is new if the interact tooltip has a gold border and star around it.
* Beating the game unlocks two new modes! Endgame is continued play with same
Hunter and adds high level general missions with customization option rewards.
New Game+ restarts the story with a new Hunter, but carries over hero roster,
friendship levels, & customization unlocks.
* The maximum level heroes can reach by training in the THREAT Room will rise
over time so the max matches the highest hero level on your roster. The mission
description text sorta implies the max level is locked – It’s not, it will scale
as your heroes level up!
Bonus Tip: It’s been said before but always worth repeating – Pet Charlie every
day! She’s a good doggo and gives treats for pets (Credits, Gloss, etc). Pet her
enough and her friendship level with the Hunter will increase, improving her
treats AND upgrading her combat abilities!

A quick tip to help increase Arcane Level a little faster as you play Midnight Suns.
Something I found far later in my play-through than I would like to admit (Night 19),
I realized that the books in the Library change every day and night. Each one that
has not been read before will give 5 Arcane Knowledge. I’m not sure how many there
are in total, but it helps reach the max of Level 5 a little sooner. Just add it
into the routine of petting Charlie, harvesting Wundagore Everbloom and looking for
Ebony and that Arcane Level will rise in no time. Since I have not found another
guide that lists it, I will include the bonuses that each Arcane Level provides.

1. +25% bonus resources from pickups: 125
2. 1 more cosmetic reward from Arcane Chests: 150
3. 2 more cosmetic rewards from Arcane Chests: 200
4. Common Chests no longer require an Arcane Key: 300
5. Rare Chests no longer require an Arcane Key: 450
Tips for Early Crowd Control:
-----------------------------
* Use the basic cards to gain heroism and then use environmental obstacles (throw
boxes etc.) to take out the one-hit minions.
* You can use knockback on cards to knock enemies in to eachother which insta-kills
the minions and if you use Quick attacks to cause a KO you get your card play
refunded.
* This way you can finish most rounds with only one or two enemies remaining.
* You want to stack your deck with quick cards so you can get rid of the chaff
without spending card plays, then use the heroism and card plays you built up
on the high priority threats.
* Don’t neglect items, especially ones that give heroism, counter, card draws,
life steal etc.
* Also build your decks to play to the strength of the characters, blade is strong
when he can apply bleed for example, or ironman is strong when you have lots of
ironman cards in your deck.
* Also remember you can chain on the same target, so sometimes instead of using a
chain ability on 4 weak targets, it might be better to chain x4 on a single strong
target.
