Explore for Treasure, but Beware the Debt:

Don't just rush straight for the boss room. Watch out for breakable walls
which lead to secret rooms. You'll also notice challenge rooms which are
tougher but more rewarding, and spike chests that you can only open at the
expense of health. But a warning about the new Loaning System: you can
borrow cash when you need it, but you'll then have a "debt collector"
character following after you, swiping your coins until it's repaid. It's
an irresistible Faustian bargain when you're just a little short of that
godly item on the shop menu, but be prepared for your new, whiny shadow.
Master the Hatchmon & Super Pet System:

See those eggs you're picking up?? They're not for making omelets... they're
your ticket to building a ridiculous, screen-nuking posse. They hatch into
little sidekicks called Hatchmons that level up with you, but that's just
the warm-up act. The main event is evolution.
This ain't Pokemon where you gotta catch 'em all-it's more like a monster-
mashing fusion dance. Grab 2 of the same pet, and BAM!! -> they smash together
into an OP Super Pet. That little auto-shooter pet, Adam? His Super form gets
a double shot, then a triple shot that ends with a giant "see-ya-later" death
explosion. That Fire Devil? His big bro, the Flame Devil, spits two fireballs
and goes out with a bang. This is how you get those busted, game-breaking builds.
So, what's the game plan? Simple : become a crazy pet person. Hoard every egg
you see & pray to the RNG gods for a matching pair. Just try not to Leeroy
Jenkins your own squad with a stray grenade… because YES! you can totally blow
them up ... and if you see items like the Candy Cane or Crystal Hard Candy, snatch
'em up. They'll turn your Super Pet army into roided-out death machines.
