Payday 2
Jewelry Store Job Tips:
-----------------------
Submitted by. Bonek
1.Watch for the Hotdog cops. Outside of the store there might be a squad car with 2 cops
stopping near a hotdog stand on the furthest right side of the map.
2.You can have anywhere between 1-2 security guards patrolling the outside and you might
have 1 in the front room.
3.Alleyways on the left and right of the jewelry store (as you look at it). Recommend going
through the right alleyway and look into the first set of windows to see if you have a
safe to deal with or not.
4.If stealthing leave 2 people outside to zip tie civilians and kill 1-2 if you have no zip
ties. A couple thousand penalty is negligible to a successful and quick payout.
5.Turret goes well in the alleyways behind the dumpsters. Trip mines are also very helpful
in the alleyways or in the back room where the safe spawns. Limits enemy flanking.
6.Keep 1-2 of the crew in the main room to keep a strong presence. The cops will push in
and take ground if you don't fight for it and making it more difficult to run bags.
7.Depending on the van spawn location move the bags either to the long set of counters
(located in the middle of the room) in the main room or behind the door in the left
alleyway (as you view the street from inside the jewelry store). Daisy chain outside of
assaults and run bags during if you need to.
8.Be careful of getting caught in the small room that connects the alleyway with the main
street. It might appear to be a 'decent' place to hold out but it only has 2 ways in/out
and the cops have the majority of map control.
9.Again a buddy system is great. Have 2 grab the loose jewelry while the other 2 watch for
cops/civilians and bag up the larger jewelry.
Infinite experience and money and all weapons and mods:
-------------------------------------------------------
Load the "Rats" mission from the Crime.net map. The "Rats" mission will become available once
you reach Level 13. Play through the mission until you reach the "Bus Stop" side mission. The
"Bus Stop" side mission requires you to kill all of Mendoza's men on the bus. It can be
completed in 37 seconds. Kill all the men on the bus, then run back to the helicopter. The
mission will end, and you will be rewarded with experience and money. When it says "Payday",
go to the next screen to display three cards. Pick one of the cards to get a random item.
When the item is shown, go to the menu screen, then select the "Restart Game" option. This
will reload the "Bus Stop" side mission, but you will still keep the experience, money, and
item you earned. You can keep farming experience, money, weapons, and mods by completing the
"Bus Stop" side mission as many times as desired. Once you reach Level 50, go back to the
Crime.net map, and look for the "Rats" mission with three yellow stars. Select the mission
with the yellow stars, then keep completing the "Bus Stop" side mission until you reach Level
100.
Easy "Fish A.I." achievement:
-----------------------------
Once you start the second part of the Watchdogs mission (Day 2), the bags you previously
robbed will be on the ground in front of you. Simply take one of the bags, and throw it
into the water. You can throw it into the water at any point of the harbor to get the
"Fish A.I." achievement.
Doctor Fantastic achievement:
-----------------------------
Reach Level 30 to unlock the Big Oil job on your map. Complete Day 2 stealthily to give yourself
plenty of time to look for all the clues in the lab, which will help you idenfity the correct
engine. Note that the correct engine and clues change each time you replay the mission:
1. In the top right corner is a computer screen with a PSI value taht will indicate whether
the engine has more than 5812 PSI or less than 5812 PSI. 5812 PSI are equal to 400 bars. There
is a small white watch at each of the engines, allowing you to see how many bars the engine has.
2. On one of the tables (random location) is a small clipboard with some black text written on
it indicating how many cables the correct engine has. It will either say 1H (1 cable), 2H (2
cables) or 3H (3 cables). These are the cables going from the top of the large blue bottle to
the engine itself.
3. There is another clipboard with a green checkmark indicating whether the engine uses Nitrogen,
Deterium, or Helium. View the big white board in the entry area of the lab to see which substance
has which bottle color. You can then look for the small, colored bottles inside the engines (blue,
orange, or green).
Use those clues to narrow down the possibilities. Once you believe to have identified the correct
engine, grab it and bring it back to the airstrip. Activate the red flai, and wait for the
helicopter. If you did this stealthily, the alarm will then go off automatically. Toss the bag
with the engine into the helicopter and survive for another three minutes until you hear back
about the test results. If the tests confirm that you picked the right engine, you will get the
"Doctor Fantastic" achievement.
Easy "Triple Kill" achievement:
-------------------------------
Play Rats Day 3, when you have to kill the Mendozas in the bus. At the start of the day, get
on top of the car in the front of the bus. Use a sniper rifle (Thanatos .50 caliber recommended)
to kill the Mendozas, who are clustered together.
Renaming guns or masks:
-----------------------
Enter your inventory and find a gun or mask to rename. Select the gun's or mask's name above
its stats, then rename it.
How to Get the Artillery Barrage Achievement:
---------------------------------------------
Written by Seal
This is a guide that was primarily created for the sole purpose of educating others on how I
got the achievement, Artillery Barrage, in PAYDAY 2. I like to consider this the best, though
time-consuming, way.
-=Artillery Barrage=-
Kill 25 enemies at 40 meters or more using only the GL40 grenade launcher. Unlocks the Wooden
Stock for the Gecko 7.62 rifle, Pirate Barrel for the GL40 grenade launcher, Bone material and
Muerte pattern.
-=Normal Bomb: Forest=-
First off, grab a cop hostage near clearly identifiable object, such as a tree, at least a few
meters away from other trees, rocks, and so on.
Secondly, place a few Sentry Guns (set on AP, Armor Piercing rounds) near the hostage so that
no cop tries to free your soon-to-be-exploded cop "buddy".
Next, obviously, move at least 40 meters away from the hostage, preferably on a train.
Next, aim your GL40 into position so that the grenade accurately fires from the barrel of the
Grenade Launcher and within about 2 meters of the cop hostage down there, on the ground, at
least 40 meters away from you.
Next, repeat until you get the achievement. Quite simple, really. Yeah, fo' sho.
Hell's Island Guide:
--------------------
Written by George Wank
This is a guide for the new heist that'll hopefully help you.
-=Loadout=-
With the current spawn rates and the close quarters combat nature of the map, a weapon
that can easily clear up groups of enemies is advised.
Suggestions are:
* Akimbo Grimms.
* Grenade Launchers.
* Sniper Rifle with Graze skill (Requires good aim!)
Swan Song ace and Inspire is also very handy on this heist.
From my experience, ammo bags aren't really mandatory. Since this map is close quarters
and the amount of enemies are high, you'll be swimming in ammo pickups provided you have
a weapon with a good ammo pickup and keep killing enemies.
First Aid Kits with Uppers aced are pretty handy when you need to hold out in a spot when
there are lots of enemies.
Doctor Bags are self explanatory. If you get into custody at the roof part, it's all over,
you won't be coming back.
Concussion Grenades could be useful when you need to rush past an area.
1. Ambush
You'll spawn in the sewer. Nearby is a ladder. Climb it and you'll see a lid. When you
remove it, and enter the compound, there will be a few Murkies waiting for you. On top
of that, an endless police assault will immediately start.
When you climb out of the sewers, there should be thermite nearby in a red toolbox. Look
around, and you'll surely find it. DO NOT forget to grab it, or you'll have to go back to
get it once you reach the bars.
In my opinion, the safest way to survive the ambush is to stick to the left side of the
shower room, between the low walls. Sticking together is a must.
Once the door opens and the objective changes, rush through the door to the bars. This is
where the thermite comes in. The thermite needs to be placed on top and bottom of the bars
for it to work. Once it's clear, drop in to the adjacent room.
2. The Cell
Once you enter the room, you'll see a control room. For the doors to open, everyone needs
to be near them. Inside the control room, there is 1 Murkie. Kill him, or take him hostage
if one of your teammates managed to get into custody.
There should be a computer near the window. Use it, and look for Bain with the cameras.
When you find him, he'll be marked. The cell number is in front of the door. Enter the
cell number on the keypad. Now, you'll have to wait 2 minutes until the cell door opens
and Bain can run. After a while, the endless police assault will be over.
Till the cell door opens, camp in the control room no matter what. It's the safest place
to be. Once it opens, rush to the door to the next area. Go down the stairs. Use the asset
ammo bag if needed, as you won't be coming back to it.
3. Canteen/Laundry
Run through the cell block and through the canteen or laundry doors. Once in the canteen/
laundry room, find the white door and drill it. While it's drilling, camp near the door,
as it's the safest there.
Once the drill is done, open the door and look for a keychain on the ground. It should
be near a dead Murkie. Exit the room and use the keys on the closed cell door nearby. When
you open it, a turret starts firing at you. Just run past it and head towards the Death
Row room. There will be yet another cell door. Use the keychain and move on. Once again,
keep progressing until you encounter another cell door. Open it with the keychain and go
up the stairs.
4. Roof
You should be in the roof access room now. Yet again, go up the stairs and go to the
closed cell door. Open it with the keychain. Head into the room. There will be another
closed door, which can't be opened with the keychain. You need to open it with the power
switch. For it to activate, all your teammates must be in the room.
When you activate the power switch, head through the door. You'll see Bain, who will
fall unconscious. When Locke picks him up, head to the Lighthouse, killing any Murkies.
A point of no return timer will activate, so be quick to complete objectives.
When the bridge needs to be extended, lockpick/blow up the lighthouse doors, kill the
murkie inside and activate the switch. Now, wait till Locke needs to rest and stay with
him, clearing the area. When Locke is near the helipad, camp at the bottom platform till
you need to hack the marked control box. The control box hack takes 1 minute, so keep an
eye on the point of no return timer.
When the control box is hacked, the door leading to the stairs up to the helipad will
open. Go up the stairs and to the helicopter. Now, just wait for Locke to come. When he
gets to the helicopter, the escape will activate and the heist will be completed.
After the heist, Locke will say that Bain is being looked after by professionals, and
that Murkywater infected him with some sort of virus.

The Real Easiest Way to Get The Dawg / Doge Mask:
-------------------------------------------------
Written by floor
-=Introduction=-
What is this achievement and how do I obtain it?
To get this achievement you complete a heist without ever going more than 4 seconds
in between jumps. You can complete this achievement in any heist on any difficulty
so I recommend playing on Normal.
-=How to Get the Mask=-
There are multiple short heists you can choose with my favourite being Ukrainian Job
as it is the shortest.
In pre-planning make sure you bring c4 / trip mines (You won’t need any skills). The
achievement does not require a certain difficulty so you should choose normal. If you
decide to go on Overkill or above there is a chance you will get titan safes and the
heist will take longer than it needs to be.
Once you load the heist put your mask on as soon as you can and start jumping, if there
are fences in the alleys go through the front (It doesn’t matter if the heist goes loud)
and make your way to the safes in the back.
Plant c4 on a safe and precede to the next, once the c4 has detonated get the tiara
and continue jumping to the exit. This will give you the Jump! Jump! Jump! achievements
and it is possible to pair this with the Let’s do thi… achievement for completing the
heist in under 35 seconds.
Tips for New Players:
---------------------
Always text in-chat if possible, it helps to know who can understand and who’s just
simply a player-bot but worse (player that does their own thing without thinking).
This is especially vital for hard+ modes.
Do not picklock all the doors before end-phase, in the regular bank for example you
do not want to picklock all the doors if possible only the necessary ones because
each door you open is another route for the cops… …a good example is the one where
the bank tellers are, you picklock the one furthest away from the front door so they
cannot get hostages (This is also vital for hard+ modes).
If you’re hosting make sure all your stuff is ready, that way we can go straight to
loadout and get straight to the game, waiting for you to finish sorting your inv/
skills out sucks get that sorted before you host… …hell even have a stealth/loud/
regular preset.
Stealth Tips:
-------------
* The basic tips, of course, is to keep your Detection low, and learn to sprint-jump-
crouch.
* What do I mean by sprint-jump-crouch? Essentially the cop’s detection range is majorly
reduced if you’re crouching, but moving whilst crouched is slow.
* The solution? Build up speed by sprinting, then jump and crouch whilst in mid-air. This
will keep your velocity, but you’ll be seen as ‘crouching’ by the cops, meaning it’ll
take longer for them to detect you, if at all, depending on how far away you are.
* Other tips include getting skills such as High Value Target to keep guards marked for
longer.
* Using Jack-of-all-Trades to bring a 2nd deployable (so you can bring ECMs and a Bodybag
case). And setting Bot skills for things like Faster Interactions.
