The one which was edited last is your more recent region. * If you rename that file then you can keep its state. When you re-open the game you’ll be able to play a fresh start while also still having the old save file around. The checkpoint system is the easiest and is in-game. The devs added it for players who wanted to “test something out”, or where players wanted to try relaxing but were worried they’d miss a Rank and thus wanted a way to retry a section.
