Cheat Codes for the PC Version 1993:

Type "Dipstick"for enabling cheats. Then type "Chojin" for God Mode and all the weapons
with unlimited ammo. Have fun and enjoy the game with these cool cheat codes.

Type in each cheat code, letter by letter, to get the desired effect. You can type in either 
the "code" or the "alternate".  Note that for the codes, the slash is a backslash, not a 
forward slash.  The codes are not case sensitive. The "dipstick" code must be given before 
any others, to enable the other cheats.  Note that any cheats marked by an asterisk work only
in the registered version of the game.  All other cheats work in both the shareware and 
registered versions.

  \PAN  PANIC           Reset to normal; full health; no modes, keys,
                        or extra guns.

  RECORD          Record a demo (does not work in v1.0).
  STOP            Stop a demo (does not work in v1.0).
  PLAY            Play a demo (does not work in v1.0).


Push column mazes:
------------------
When you encounter one of the infamous "push column mazes" or any columns you think could
obscure a secret area, use the following this trick to check which columns move. Activate
Shrooms Mode Power-Down by enabling the badtrip code, or find a Shrooms Mode pick-up. Then,
look at the column you want to check. If you can move the column, or it moves in any way, 
the column will flash all sorts of strange colors. If the column does not move, it will 
remain the same as in normal mode. Be careful before trying this, as Shrooms Mode makes 
the game very difficult to play. Make sure the area is secure before using this trick. 


Warp to demo scenario:
----------------------
Wait for one of the demos to start. While the demo is playing, press [F6] to quick save. 
Go to the main menu, and load that quicksave file. You will have "warped" into the exact 
scenario in the demo, level and all.


Gravity:
--------
Go to Comm-Bat multi-player mode and choose the Gravity setting desired. Enter the game,
then quit and go to single player mode. You should have the same gravity setting as you 
did in Comm-Bat.


Cheats Console:
---------------
Head to the Settings menu and you'll find the option to enable cheats. Once you do so, 
you can enter cheats from the old school release of Rise of the Triad. For example, 
entering God will unlock the game's God Mode.


Rocket Jump:
------------
This is a way to jump onto high ledges if they are no jump pads around. Find a Firebomb 
then go under the ledge you wish to get onto. Look down, fire a missle from the Firebomb
and it will propel you upwards, enough for you to reach the ledge. You must have the 
Asbestos Armor for this not to kill you.
