DOT Damage Explanatory Guide:
-----------------------------
Written by Game Smithing
* Each application is unique. Bleeds for example, last 15 seconds, and different
applications will not refresh the duration or interact with other applications
in any way.
* They can have different values, you could have a bleed that deals 1000 damage
in 15 seconds and be one stack, and a bleed that deals 10 damage with the same
amount of stacks.
* Every time a dot deals damage, all of the instances calculate their crit chances
individually. If any of them crits, it will show as a “crit” text. So if you have
a bleed that deals 1000/tick, and one that deals 10/tick, you could get a crit
that is 1000 + 10 * 2 = 1020, or 1000 * 2 + 10 = 2010.
* Dots also use your current stats to calculate everything, so if you have a
temporary effect like Bloodlust, while its active they will be dealing more
damage, when its gone they will resume their normal damage.
Doom is the exception in many ways. When you apply doom, you just add up the damage
to whatever damage was already stored in Doom charges. If you apply 10, then 1000,
then 500, your doom will deal 1510 when it expires, and check for crit at the time
of expiration. Doom is always only 1 stack for that reason, it just keeps pilling
up forever.
Healing Tips:
-------------
-=Green Crystals=-
There are green crystals that spawn on the map, destroying them gives you 30
health back, which can be increased with upgrades.
-=Smite=-
There is also the Smite skill which heals you when you stand in the AoE area
(And can crit heal, which is great), also there is a meta progression upgrade
which will heal you when you level up by a certain amount (+2 on level 1, don’t
know yet how high it gets).
If you have passives that cause multiple casts, the heal will multiply by # of
casts as they are all in the same spot. can lead to some insane healing.
-=How it works=-
It just randomly picks a spot, then starts “charging” (can see the targeting circle
on the ground start to fill). When its done itll damage enemies and heal you. As
for the dangerous spots, either kill fast or take defensive stuff (block is pretty
big from what i can tell, although i could have just been avoiding without noticing).
-=Resume=-
You don’t need to heal that much if you’re doing enough damage. I just finished a run
in under 18 minutes and never had to crack a healing crystal once. The healing you
get from points in the passive tree is enough, as long as you’re doing enough damage
and taking damage reduction.
As far as your options for healing, I see only three:
* The points in the skill tree.
* Healing crystals.
* Smite.
Smite is hard to use because you get so easily knocked away from the AoE, and you
end up taking damage rather than healing. So I don’t find it very reliable.
How to Complete a Match in Less Than 10 Minutes:
------------------------------------------------
If you can’t do it initially (and it IS hard), wait for some meta progression.
A lot of runes can add quite a bit of character power, and some builds want to wait
for more skill unlocks to get more cohesive synergies together.
-=Still Wants to Complete?=-
* It also involves luck. For instance getting the Magnet item. Specifically Rare
or higher and I’d bet getting 2 of them minimum.
* That will boost the amount of EXP you get from enemies that’ll allow you to get
a lot of extra skills early on which enable you to boost the damage to such degree
you’ll one shot most things.
Note: Fight in the corners. Its actually super easy and doesn’t require extreme luck.
How to Beat Endless 6:
----------------------
More easily than you think!
Play elementalist. Take all 3 beams (you start with lightning, so pick up arcane and
light), and Call Lightning, and then 2 buff spells (either Arcane Power or Bloodlust,
and Might for the second). Step 3: Profit.
Honestly once you get past the first loop your damage and area will be so high that
the only worries are ground aoes that enemies manage to cast before they die. Bosses
were melting in seconds.
Also of note, having the Purity, Focus Fire, and Generalist runes helps a TONNNNN
because of the damage multipliers (they are multiplicative instead of additive like
most damage bonuses).
34 Curse Bumble Easy Mode Build Guide:
--------------------------------------
Written by Dharaos
An EZ Mode guide for a 34 Curse Bumble kill using the Paladin class.
-=Summary=-
If you are struggling to outlast Bumble in the boss room this build makes 34 Curse
Bumble easy mode with the Paladin class by utilizing Exorcism and not selecting any
Lifeless Void Curse upto 34 curse points. You can literally soak all damage in the
boss room and not die by out-healing all damage in the boss room with Exorcism. The
hardest part is of the run is defeating all the lords in the circles (red,blue,
yellow, green, purple) before getting to the boss room, but with Exorcism you should
be able to out-heal all damage received up-to that point.
-=Runes=-
This build utilizes the Singular Focus rune which might be overkill. That being said
if you don’t have Singular Focus I believe you can also defeat 34 Curse Bumble easily
by just not enabling any Lifeless Void Curse and utilizing 1 Exorcism with a standard
build that uses any holy skill while prioritizing crit chance for bigger heals.
-=Other Runes Used=-
* Executioner, free extra damage for applying any extra effect with no downside.
* Dash Mastery, dash farther to avoid damage.
The game plan here is to use Singular Focus to get extra healing from multiple Exorcism’s
(Ability that heals when dealing damage to enemies) and thus why we disabled Lifeless
Void to maximize healing. I ended up using only 2 Exorcism’s which is more than enough
healing. For your damaging skill just stack something that attacks frequently( I used
3x Hammer of Justice). Crit chance is an important attribute in this build as Exorcism’s
heals can crit healing significantly more, especially since the heal also stacks with
critical damage modifier. For other attributes just take as much damage and multi you
can get to make killing Bumble faster as he will have around 35M health.
And that is pretty much it, just outlast the boss by healing and whack him until he dies.
Enjoy completing all 3 achievements.
P.S. grab something that inflicts Doom along the way so you don’t have to spend 30
minutes in the boss room like I did.
How to Level Up Fast:
---------------------
Want to know the fastest way to increase the level of all of the characters? Read below.
-=How-To=-
Hand pick curses on each tier:
* Take any curse(s) that increases +prestige gained % from level I to whatever you have
unlocked (except the add towers one, not worth the hassle).
* And the ones that increase elite spawn rate on every tier it’s available
(more elite xp = faster levels = more power).
* Remove all other curses (they only add bonus crystals.. meh), go forth and win,
go back to town, repeat.
-=Another Way=_
Just run curses with every Unholy reinforcements (+elites chance), Clone army (more
elites per spawn), House of lords and overwhelming corruption (Void hunters) you can get
(+230% prestige at curse V, you can also include pillars for extra 30%; also, unholy
reinforcements do not increase prestige gained so you can turn it off if you get swarmed
by multiple stacks of elites, it just helps level up faster).
Quite a lot of class exp even if you die before finishing.
-=Bonus=-
Get the curses that spawn elite faster and in greater number, this gives +100% prestige
(up to curse V) and go for endless cycles. Pick Fateful Strike (as often as you can),
one or two fast hitting skills, empower the ??? out of em, and rule the game.
Curse VII intensity 48 Paladin:
-------------------------------
Written by Kal
Small guide on how to clear curse 48 with paladin.
-=Runes=-
* Singular Focus (you want at least 2x light beam)
* Skill Mastery: Arcane (Arcane Shield & Arcane Power, you dont need both'but if you
are struggling to survive Arcane Shield is nice)
* Center Off Attention (if you go Smite for heals)
* Surefooted (less damage taken)
-=Skills=-
* Light Beam x2 or 3
* Beacon of light (less chance to get hit, plus takes care of small mobs)
* Arcane Overload (bonus damage) (can be swapped for Arcane Beam or another Light Beam)
* Exorcism (heals are nice)
* Arcane Power
-=Upgrades=-
* Try to get permanent Arcane Power of Arcane Shield (or both)
* Crit chance > 100%
* Area modifier
* Multi cast
* Cast frequency
* Armor / Damage reduction / Block you need to survive a bit
* a few magnets
I usually get at least 1 of each debuff then banish them.
