To enable God Mode in Western Outlaw, open the file named 
"autoexec.cfg" in your Western Outlaw install directory. 
In this file, look for a line like the following:

"playertakedamage" "1"

and change it to:

"playertakedamage" "0"

This will effectively turn god mode on.




Practically unlimited ammo in Linux (Wine, PlayOnLinux, Lutris...):

If you're having no luck using a trainer and desire the "unlimited ammo" 
cheat, you can gain unlimited ammo using a memory scanner akin to Cheat 
Engine on Windows. It's called GameConqueror. You only need to find the 
correct "int16" value and that's it. Install it by opening terminal and 
running the following commands:

sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get install -y gameconqueror

Wait for it to install. Then, simply find the "int16" value that corresponds 
to the ammo count you wanna change, then save the game. You can even reload 
a game and the address will not change so you can change it even if you only 
have 1 bullet.

If you don't know how to change the desired value, open the game using any 
Wine frontend or Wine itself, ALT+TAB out of it, open GameConqueror and type 
in your root password when it asks you and you'll get the GUI. The two icons 
to the right correspond to search (letter A inside a magnifying glass) and 
reset search (the clockwise blue arrow).

Press the icon in the upper center of the window to select a process (or 
press CTRL+F), search for "lithtech), select the LITHTECH.EXE process, save 
the game if needed (the address won't change if you reload from that save), 
select the "int16" data type, and type in your current ammo count for the 
gun you want unlimited ammo with. Wait for GameConqueror to finish the 
search, waste a shot, reload, and type in the new value. It shouldn't take 
long until you narrow down the exact variable. Change this value to an 
extremely high value (say, 20000) and save the game. Your new ammo count 
will stay when you reload that save game. If you can't find the value, 
increase the search scope (the slider below data type).

Repeat this process for every gun you want then save the game. And that's 
how you can get so much ammo you might as well call it unlimited ammo.
