How to Beat Shell Witch/Conker Combo:
-------------------------------------
This short guide will help you to understand how can you
defeat shell witches and conker.
Conkers can be frozen to delay their turn, and they hit single targets,
so you can soak up hits with clunkers or summons. Shell Witches will
also die in one hit from an Azure Battleaxe, if you’re lucky enough
to get one or two of those.
-=Conkers have three main counters=-
* Soul flame or whatever it’s called. It explodes based upon remaining
hearts not shell. So you essentially can blow up their row multiple
times by just reapplying it to the conker guys each turn. Contrary
to what the guy above says: don’t battle axe the witches, battle axe
the conkers and they will explode immediately.
* The card that let’s you copy an enemy with one health. As it also gets
their shell.
* Ink, which silences their effect and means they do two damage on their
attacks.
As with everything else in this wackily designed game though: if you
haven’t got those pray you can freeze them long enough to kill them
before they attack.
How to Get an Item if You Are Lacking a Bit of Money:
-----------------------------------------------------
Written by WatchingAtlas
I just found this out!
-=How to Get an Item=-
If you are missing a few coins (blings) you can just keep pressing on
the card you want to buy in the shop and they will give it to you for the
remainder of you money if you are close enough to the amount.
Eg: Card costs 55 coins but you only have 50 if you just keep pressing
on it they will discount it to 50.
P.S. It doesn’t always work but it does sometimes.
True Ending Guide:
------------------
Written by Lay_n
Small guide how to achieve the True ending in 5 steps.
This small and simple guide gives spoilers.
-=Step 1: Beat the game=-
* Might be hard, but after a couple of tries you get the hang of it.
* Its all about understanding the abilities of the enemy and your one
abilities.
* Understand that RNG is a god and only hé/she/they/them can give or
take your run.
-=Step 2: Beat the games with all equiped Modifier bells 3×=-
(3 times since every Beat gives a bell)
* After beating the game once you will have no trouble with this.
* Mainly because you know the main mechanics (I hope).
-=Step 3: Collect the Luminous vase in the next run=-
[Collect Luminous broken vase + Luminous gloop]
* You can find these cards by looking for a strange Light on some events.
* One of the items you can find in a glowing store and one of the items you
can find in a glowing treasure.
* I put the modifier bells on in this run, dont know if you need to
-=Step 4: Beat the game and throw the luminous vase=-
(against the Frost guardian and kill him)
* I threw this item last second against the frost guardian. Mainly because
I just didnt drew the card at all.
* After the frost guardian is hit, his attack will go +4 every time hé buffs.
-=Step 5: Beat ??? Fight=-
* No trouble at all. Beat it first try.
True Final Encounter Tips:
--------------------------
I have beat maybe 6~ times now, Had better luck with clunkers (3x), followed with
shaders (2x), and last the snows (1x). I think i had a good luck with clunkers
because how potent ink is.
-=Here is my advice=-
* Debuff with barrage or multihiters units/skills. Ink and snow are amazing, but
even frost, boom, poison, overburn can work pretty well.
* You need a balanced team, don’t go full on aggro or full defense, Usually for
the most other fights (except for the thorns fight) you can pretty reliable go
full aggro and win all fights, but not this final boss, unless you have some
crazy shennanigans happening on turn 1~3 with your deck.
* Try to make your setup fast. If you can have all the main setup cards crowned
and do most of the setup before fight even start. When I first started the
game I mostly crowned units, but crowning skills and even some clunkers is
better in some setups.
Useful Tips:

Here are a few small tips to help you along the way!
-=General Tips=_
* If on turn one you don’t have any of the cornerstone cards of your deck, hit
that bell! This is especially the case for creatures, because you want to get
them out ASAP so they can start counting down and being useful.
* For this reason, crowns are extremely powerful. They not only guarantee you get
your most important cards from the beginning, but they are also basically free
actions. By the time you get to the final boss you should be rocking at least
2-3 crowns.
* Do not be afraid to hit that bell before it refreshes! It’s better to forgo
doing 2 damage with a sword so you can get more important cards for the next
turn. This is particularly true on “waiting” turns when no enemy is about to
attack. Take advantage of the lull in combat to prepare your defenses.
* On the flip side, combat turns (i.e. when enemies are attacking) are when you
should be at your most vigilant. Go carefully over the actions of each ally and
enemy, because with so many stats and attributes it’s easy to miss something.
* Don’t end the turn before studying the board and shuffling the positions of
your allies.
* Because yes, positioning is everything in this game! Your units are all on the
fragile side, and one mistake can end your run. Moving is free, and you should
be doing it a lot. Try to share the damage across the board, and remember that
as long as a unit has 1 HP it’s the same as having full health. HP is a resource
that needs to be managed, so don’t be afraid to let even your most fragile allies
tank a hit if they can.
* Don’t forget to bench your units to let them heal. Letting them die and get
injured can seriously hamper your next fight. However, if you do return them
to discard, try to do it before hitting the bell. That way they will return
to your hand sooner.
* Positioning is helpful, but you must also always have access to mitigation.
Focusing too much on damaging combos will leave you dead. Snow, ink, and frost
(but mostly snow!) are all useful in that regard. Summons are also very useful
for tanking incoming damage and effects. Make sure you always have one of these
options in your hand. If not, strongly consider hitting that bell if you can!
-=Specific Tips=-
* Aimless is limited to just one row. So you can force those annoying bigfoots
(bigfeet?) to hit your tank by leaving him alone on that row.
* Similarly, you can force a creature with barrage to only attack one unit by
placing it alone on the lane.
* If you’re one gold short from buying an item from the shop, click it several
times and the shopkeeper will relent, giving it to you at a discount.
This is useful more often that you’d think!
* Every thing that has a sword icon, even if it does no damage, counts as a hit,
and will trigger unit abilities.
* Units with no sword icon will never attack, even if you give them +attack buffs.
This can be useful to counter haze!
* Naked gnome is your friend.
I hope you found this small list of tips useful. I’ll add more if I think of any
or if people suggest some in the comments. Enjoy!
What Is The Best Strategy to Get 6x Time Combo?:
------------------------------------------------
You can do a cheese strat if you want a surefire way:
* Pick junk tribe. Any leader is fine.
* Pick sneezel
* Play the game, prioritize money and shops, buy a crown every chance you get.
* Once you’ve obtained one of the 3 lumen sources (+1/+2 card, charm, or vase)
and 3/4 crowns (depending on if you got the charm) you’re good to go.
* Crown junkhead sneezel a junk card, and your lumen card if you have it.
(otherwise put the charm on junkhead)
* Every fight, keep your leader in hand, lumen the junk head. and alternate
between hitting your junkhead and sneezel with junk. You’ll draw your entire
deck.
* Once you’ve redrawn your lumen (if using it) put it on sneazle.
* Kill them with the cards in hand. Try to keep all your deck in hand at once
to make your draws consistent, and to speed things up. You can use recycle
cards to thin out some of the junk if need be.
* You’ll get over 6x on the last boss fight!
Guide to Daily Voyages:
-----------------------
Written by Rosstin
-=Daily Scoring=-
* For every second you beat 60 minutes by, you get 1 point.
* For winning all 8 battles, you get 700 points.
* You also get points for every bling you earned, regardless of whether you
spent it or not.
To get a high score, you have to play both quickly and correctly.
-=The 60-Minute Timer
For every second you beat 60 minutes by, you get 1 point. For example, if
your time is 00:59:50 (beating 60 minutes by 10 seconds), you’d get 10 points.
If your time was 00:59:00, you’d get 60 points. If your time was 00:50:00, you’d
get 600 points. The best winning times I’ve seen range from 20 minutes (2400
points) to 30 minutes (1800 points). I’m not as good as these players, so I’m
satisfied if I can get a time under 60 minutes.
Don’t forget that you can also pause the timer. I have not investigated the
specifics of how pausing the timer works with the various pausing options, but
at a minimum remember that you can quit to the title screen to take a break
and the timer will be suspended.
Note a trick for saving your butt if you make a mistake while playing quickly:
you can force-quit out of the game to avoid “losing”. On Switch, this would be
pressing the “home” button and selecting “change user” before the death
animation for your leader finishes. This is obviously cheating, and dishonorable,
but useful for learning the game and being able to finish runs that you’d lose
to a dumb mistake.
-=The 8 Battles=-
In each game of Wildfrost there are 8 battles, plus a 9th battle if you go
for the secret ending. However, in Dailys mode, the secret ending is
inaccessible, so this is irrelevant.
* 1-1: Big Peng, or Snow Knight
* 1-2: Veiled Lady, Ringer, Queen Globerry, or Bumbo
* Boss-1: Bamboozle, or Infernoko
* 2-1: Bolgo, King Moko, or Muttonhead
* 2-2: Maw Jaw, or Bigloo
* Boss-2: Krunker, or Truffle
* 3-1: Numskull, or Razor
* Boss-2: Frost Guardian
-=Frost Guardian=-
In Dailys mode, the Frost Guardian is never a player-generated variant, so
the boss is more static and predictable than in a normal game.
The “Soulbound Skulls Trick” is particularly useful in this battle because
you can use it to skip the first phase of the fight. To do this, you need to
have the Soulbound Skulls card and 2 crowns. Put one crown on the Soulbound
Skulls card, and another crown on a companion or a card that generates a
companion. During the crown turn, first play the ally you will sacrifice, then
play Soulbound Skulls on the boss, THEN play your leader. This ensures your
leader won’t randomly receive the soulbound status. During the battle, kill
the ally and the boss will die as well, taking you into the 2nd phase of the
fight.
