Open console with ~ and type

tgm - Godmode
psb - All Spells, shouts, and racial, werwolf, and vampire abilities.

Note: It does not give you the souls to charge the shouts so you will still have to
kill dragons to use the shouts.

In so far as I have played, opening the game's developer console by pressing tilde,
the codes are exactly the same as the rest of Bethesda's games. Example - tgm will
toggle god mode on or off. Enjoy ;)

Massive Smithing Leveling:
You need around 1000 Gold for this. Simply go to any Smith selling Iron Ingots and
Leather Strips. The first building on the right as you enter Whiterun is best for
this. Purchase as many Iron Ingots as you can and equal Leather Strips. Then go and
build as many Iron Daggers as you can. You will increase your Smithing Skill by 1
for every dagger you make. This can mean levelling your skill up by as many as 20
points in under 10 seconds! Then, sell the Daggers to back, and repeat with the
money you have remaining. Whilst you aren't going to be able to do this for unlimited
times (as the store will run out of Ingots/Strips eventually and you don't gain as
much profit from the sell-back, it is a great tactic to very quickly level up your

Mining Tips:
With any Ore Vein, you can use your pickaxe to mine that vein. You can also dual-mine
if you have two pickaxes, making the process faster. To make the process even faster,
you can attack the vein with your pickaxe/axes as well.

Easy gold:
At the beginning of the game, when you reach to the first town of Riverwood start
chopping wood and find the man named Hod. He usually stands at the top of the sawmill
during the day. He will pay you for "all the wood you can carry" as he puts it. However,
there is no limit to how much you can make buy chopping wood and selling it to him.
He never runs out of gold like the merchants. Chop and sell wood to him until you have
as much gold as desired.

Dragonreach cave puzzles:
Inside the cave during your first mission for Dragonreach, you are faced with a
combination puzzle. Look to the wall above the closed gate. You will see two heads
with a gap in the middle. Each one holds a picture of a creature (snake and dolphin).
On the floor by the lever is the third creature (snake). The combination is Snake,
Snake, Dolphine. The second combination is found deeper in the chambers. It is a
turntable combination, which is more difficult. This one is Bear, Owl, Bird. Insert
the claw and the door will open.

Easy Conjuration experience:
* To do this, it is best to have the Bound Sword spell, because you are able to conjure
two of these at the same time to gain experience faster. This works best when there
is an enemy that is trying to fight you, but you are at an area that they cannot
reach you (for example, fighting a troll or bear while you are too high for them to
actually hit you). Use the Bound Sword spell, put the sword(s) away, then repeat the
process. Doing this will increase your conjuration levels very quickly.

* This trick requires dragons roaming around and being far enough in the Dark Brotherhood
to have Shadowmere. When you find where a dragon is located, Fast Travel there so
Shadowmere can be with you. Start the battle with the dragon. Do not worry when the
dragon goes after Shadowmere, as Shadowmere is invincible and will fight and eventually
will kill the dragon for you. Use the Bound Swords spell as described above and it will
  have the same outcome.

Easy experience:
Go to the village named "Riverwood" and find a house called "Alvor & Sigrid's House".
Inside is a man named Hadvar. Rest until it is after 8 a.m. so that Alvor leaves the
house. Sigrid and the young girl should remain downstairs and Hadvar will be upstairs.
If he is not, just wait and he will come upstairs. Save the game before the next part
in case something goes wrong. Equip your strongest sword or weapon that you want improved
skill for, and sneak behind him until he cannot see you. Do a heavy strike and he will
stumble to the floor. When he gets up will have no knowledge that you hit him. He also
never dies, so it can be done indefinitely. Repeat the process to level up as much as
desired. This will also maximize your Sneak skill, and whatever weapon type you are using.

How to Steal:
Very simply, place buckets (or something of equal practicalness) literally on the head
of all witnesses, so that it completely covers their head and blinds them.
You can effectively "rob them blind".

Become a werewolf:
Go to the city of Whiterun. Move through the town until you reach Dragonsreach, which
is the castle. While standing on the steps looking at the doors to Dragonsreach, look
to your right. There should be a building that resembles a ship's hull. This is where
the Companions are located. Go and join them. After a few quests you are given the
chance to become a werewolf. To use your new ability, go to "Magic", then "Powers",
then "Beast Form". Beast Form can be used once a day. You will turn into a werewolf
and friendly humans will attack you. You will have increased speed, health, damage,
and stamina. You cannot pick up objects. If you kill a human you can "Feed" on the
corpse to regain some health and extend the duration of Beast Form. This is also useful
for traveling great distances on foot. When the werewolf sprints, it runs on all fours,
and moves much faster than a horse. The werewolf's stamina also regenerates very

Unlimited steel arrows:
Upon becoming a full member of the Thieves Guild, the other recruits train often.
There is a recruit named Niruin. He can give you training in archery and often wastes
his arrows on a target dummy with his infinite arrows. You can continually pick up
the steel arrows and either use them for yourself, or sell a mass quantity of them.

Easy Speechcraft experience:
Go to the town of Riften and locate the Black Briar Meadery. Ask the Dark Elf at the
counter about the Black Briar women, and choose the "Persuade" option. He will answer
your question, and you should receive a level in Speechcraft.
Note: You must have Speechcraft at about 25 in order to persuade him, and it may require
several attempts to receive a level as your Speechcraft increases. There is no limit to
the number of times you may do this.

Moving when over encumbered:
If you are over encumbered and are far away from a city, the fastest way to move is
through the Whirlwind Sprint Shout. It can be used continuously and will get you to
the nearest city quickly so you can sell. This also works when exiting caves and

Duplicating books:
This trick requires that you own a house with an alchemy lab. Activate the bookshelf
and place the desired book on it. Leave the menu and immediately activate the bookshelf
again. If your book has not yet physically appeared on the shelf, wait at the menu
screen where you can loot the bookshelf. Once you see the book in front of you (it will
hover in front of the shelf while the menu is open), loot the book from the shelf in
the menu. Immediately close the menu, and you can click on the book itself to read and
then take it. You have effectively looted the book twice, putting two of them in your
inventory. This trick can be repeated as many times as desired, and is especially
useful with expensive books such as the Oghma Infinium.

Max Out Destruction Skill:
When you join the Fighter's Guild, you will be told to go outside and duel with one
of the members. When you are outside, switch over to destruction magic and use it
against that person continually. He will keep telling you to use a sword, but you
will gain experience by using destruction magic and he will not die. You can do this
for as long as you want, this is an easy way to get more XP.

Easy Sneak experience:
Note: This trick will also help you gain weapon experience. While doing the Molag
Bal quest, and after you save the priest, go to the shrine. When he gets trapped
in the cage, crouch behind him and hit him with the weapon of your choice.
Note: Spells may also work too. He will heal quite fast, and he is invincible until
he submits and you are forced to kill him for the Daedric lord.
Note: Using spells
will turn it into a real fight and your follower may become aggressive.
However, it can still raise your Destruction level.

Free training:
If you can get a skill trainer as your follower, then you can get any training for
free. Train your skills, then ask them to trade and take the gold back.

Paarthurnax insults:
Get the Elder Scroll, then go to Paarthurnax and use the "Throw Voice" shout at
him. A new voice will shout insults such as "Hey, ugly!", "Hey, skeever butt!",
"Hey, melon head!", "Hey, melon nose!", "Hey, troll bait!", "Hey, slug-breath!",
and "Hey, cheese brain!"

King Arthur references:
Between Sundered Towers and Blackwind Bluff, you will find a cave called "Rebels
Cairn" Inside this cave you must put a magic sword in a stone to open a door
outside the cave to the left. You will find another sword in a stone.

Easy Sneak experience:
Note: This trick will also help you gain one handed weapon experience. When you
reach the part in the tutorial where you choose to enter the keep with either
Hadvar or Ralof, choose Hadvar. When you are told to take the armor from the
chest, do not. Instead, take one of the swords hanging from the wall and sneak
up behind Hadvar, who should be facing the gate blocking your way. While in
sneak mode and undetected, hit him with your sword. This should grant a 3x bonus
to your damage as it is a sneak attack, and will add a great deal to your sneaking
skill. Walk away, then creep back up on him to perform another attack. After
reaching about level 30 in Sneak, you can simply remain crouched behind him and
hit him about every 7 seconds for a sneak attack bonus. In a relatively short
time you can maximize your Sneak skill, while also increasing your one handed
weapon skill. To raise your one handed weapon skill faster, stand behind him
while not in sneak mode and constantly bash him. When his health runs out and
he falls to the floor, allow him to stand up before hitting him again. You could,
after maxing both sneak and one handed, exit the tutorial near level 40.
Note: Wait until your armor and weapons are of a higher grade before entering
the level up menu or the enemies will be much tougher than you.

Words of power:
If you are having a difficult time finding words of power, go to High Hrothgar
and find Arngeir. The first talk selection will be "Have you found a new word of
power?". He will place a new quest in the "Misc." category for it. He will only
give you one at a time, but he will give them to you until there are no more.

Easy money, Speech, and Alchemy experience:
This takes a bit of time to set up, but once done provides as much gold as desired.
It requires the following:

1.Five Grand Soul Gems filled with Grand Souls. Grand Souls can be taken from
  mammoths or bought.
2.Fortify Alchemy Enchantment.
3.Helmet, gloves/bracers, two rings, and a necklace
4.The ingredients for Fortify Restoration potions: Abecean Longfins, Cyrodilic
Spadetails, Salt Piles. The fish can be obtained easily by swimming around
Goldenglow Estate near Riften. Collect as many of these as you can, at least
ten to fifteen of each ingredient.
5.Ingredients for a Fortify Enchanting potion: Snowberries, Spriggan Sap,
  Hagraven Claw, Blue Butterfly Wing.

Start by enchanting your helmet, gloves, one of the rings, and the necklace with
Fortify Alchemy using the Grand Soul Gems. It works best if your Enchanting is
at 100 with five perks in Enchanter. Equip the newly fortified equipment. Go to
an alchemy lab and create a potion of Fortify Restoration. Exit and drink the
potion. Without exiting the menu, go to "Apparel", unequip, then re-equip the gear.
Then, create another Fortify Restoration potion. Drink it, unequip, and re-equip
the gear until you can craft very strong Fortify Restorations (in the millions of
percent). If you go too high the potions will start getting negative numbers. Do
not drink those or the game will glitch. When you are satisfied with the strength
of your potions, drink one, then craft a Fortify Enchanting potion.
Go to an Arcane Enchanter, drink your Fortify Enchanting potion, and enchant the
remaining ring with Fortify Alchemy. This negates the need to repeat this process.
Then, go to any apothecary and buy a Giants Toe and some Wheat. Wearing your ring
craft, a potion using these two ingredients. You should get a massive increase
in Alchemy. It will be worth hundreds of thousands of Septim. No merchant has
that kind of money, however sell it for whatever they have and your Speech will
rise to 100. If not, make another potion and repeat.
After your Speech is leveled, add perks until you get to the "Invest" perk. Go
to the Riverwood trader and invest in him. Go outside and wait 48 hours. Return,
and he will have 10,000 Septim. Sell him a potion to get all his gold. Go outside,
and wait 48 hours. Return and sell him a potion to get all his gold. Repeat this
as many times as desired. It is possible to make over 100,000 Septim in ten
minutes work in exchange for the cost of making the potions.

Info: When you get the Ring of Alchemy at its highest, make several potions of
Enchantment Fortification You can now create a set of bracers with Fortify
Smithing. You use these to make your already legendary or just typical mundane
armor and weapons into "Godly" armor and weapons. Then, drink more potions of
Fortify Enchantment and put the following enchantments into your new gear: Armor
Fortify Health, Health Regen, Increased Carrying Weight, Fortify Magic, Magic
Regen, Fortify Stamina, and others of your choice. Also give your weapons proper

Easy Weapon experience:
When the Blades ask you to kill Parthanax, approach him to check if he is on the
stone wall perfectly. Attack him with any weapon (destruction magic also works)
you wish to increase. If he dies, restart and try again. If done correctly, he
will just take the hits then fly up and back down. He never dies and you will
not get any bounties for attacking him.

Fast travel while over-encumbered:
Purchase a horse from any stable. Carry as many things as desired. Ride your horse
and go to any desired city via Fast Travel or riding your horse. Your horse will
still be with you when you Fast Travel to different places.

Three man team:
* Use the following trick to get a three person team with a five person squad.
Have your main character ask Brelyan Maryon to join you (after doing her side
quest). Give her the staff of conjure flame Atronach. Next, do the "Taste Of
Death" quest and convince Verulus to follow. You should now have a total of
three characters. When in combat, summon your familiar and have Maryon summon
hers. There are now five of you in battle. This makes the game easier when doing
almost all side quests. In some side quests other characters will also join you,
increasing your squad.

Note: If you complete Mercer Frey's "Scoundrel's Folly" quest, he asks you to join
him in another quest. When you accept it you will now have four members in your
team. You can travel to do quests with all four members, and when in battle your
squad increases to seven with conjuration abilities.

Really fast Conjuration leveling:
First, get the Bound Sword spell. It can be purchased from the Conjuration teacher
at the College of Winterhold or the Jarl of Whiterun's court wizard. Next, find a
Mudcrab or something weak (I used a Frostbite Spider). Use both hands to cast the
spell as you run in circles around the creature, but before the swords can materialize,
put your hands away. This will cause the swords to not materialize, thus saving the
time it takes waiting for your character to grab the swords.
You still get the experience for casting the spell and you can do more spell casting
in a smaller amount of time.

Vendor with a lot of money:
When you start in Riverwood, make sure to not talk to the miscellaneous goods
store owner and sister. Instead, go out and increase your Speech and take the
perk to invest in other stores. At that time, make your first investment with
the miscellaneous goods store owner. From now on, every time you make an investment
in another store his available money increases. Added with the perk of all venders
have an extra 1,000 gold available, he can have over 10,000 gold available, which
makes him the richest vendor in the game. That also makes finding and selling
things easier, instead of running around to all the vendors in all the different

Keep selling to the same vendor:
Find a vendor that has what you want mostly, while having an inventory of items
you do not want and wish to sell (for example, ingredients). Ok, go to vendor in
Whitehall, buy the ingredients, and sell your items. Save the game after exiting
the conversation. Immedialy hit the vendor with your bare hands once. Then, load
the last saved game. The vendor should have money back in their wallet. This can
be done to any vendor.

Easy "Golden Touch" achievement or trophy:
While doing the quests to complete the "One With The Shadows" achievement or
trophy, you will have a special request for Windhelm called "Summerset Shadows".
When you have completed this quest, Niranye will have 4,000 gold on her every
two days. This makes earning the "Golden Touch" achievement or trophy easy.
It is possible to seel almost 145,000 gold in thirty minutes.

Easy weapon experience:
Use the following trick to increase a one-handed weapon skill. When you are in
Helgen Keep, have a Sword Of Imperial and Ralofs asks you to open the gate, just
hit him with any one-handed weapon.

Use the sneak roll without the perk:
To do this activate sneak mode and hold the sprint button, then double tap the
ready/sheath button while moving forward to execute to forward roll. If you do
this while moving sideways, you instead do a hop in that direction.

Infinite Arrows:
If you pickpocket someone who shoots target dummies with arrows and take whatever
arrows they were using (usually iron or steel) and give them 1 of the arrow type
you want infinite of, they will shoot that type of arrow instead. Just collect
them as they hit the dummy and you can build up a nice stockpile.

Easy enchanting skill increase:
You must have The Mace of Molag Bal and Azura's star. The mace can be obtained
via the house of horrors quest in Markarth (which can be done in any point of
the game, netting you an insanely powerful mace if you do this early) and the
star can be obtained by doing Azura's quest. (Her shrine can be found south of
Windhelm. Either spam the "Have you heard any rumors" conversation option with
Edla in Candlehearth hall in windhelm which, conveniently, is located right at
the entrance, to mark the shrine on your map or you can simply find it.) the
mace has an "if target dies in X seconds it's soul will be placed in a soul gem"
effect and Azura's star is an unbreakable soul gem (it won't dissapear if you
use it) Find a weak enemy to kill. Then recharge the mace with the star (example,
you fight a camp of fosworn, there is a fosworn forager and looter, you killed
the looter first. Immediately recharge the mace and kill the forager) Continue
to do this and you will be leveling up your enchanting skill or, if your level
is high, take it up a notch; kill giants, and other high-level enemies recharge
the mace. This may be a bit tough, but having a follower with you to weaken
the high level-enemy then steal that kill from the last second to net a grand/
greater soul to recharge the demonic mace for a bigger skill progress increase.
Keep in mind that the effect of the mace is if target dies in 3 seconds, so
kill it quickly.

Wooden Bowl Glitch:
This glitch can allow you to go through some walls and doors with only a wooden
bowl and one word of the Whirlwind sprint shout (can be very useful.)

First, drop the wooden bowl and pick it up. Then place it against the surface
you want to go through (the bottom of the bowl must face you for this to work)
and then use the Whirlwind Sprint shout (any amount of words work.) Viola!
Your character should have traveled straight through the surface they want
to go through.

Unlimited Gold\Max Skills:
Warning: This may make your game boring due to having as much money as you
want and maxed skills. Also, there's no guarantee it wont screw up your
game somehow so make a new save before attempting.

You must have first gotten the Oghma Infinium through the quest "Discerning
the Transmundane" and you need access to a bookshelf such as one you can get
for a home you own.

1.Crouch and go to a bookshelf really close putting your cursor in the top
left hand side corner of the bookshelf.
2.Press A to open the bookshelf menu.
3.Select at least 1 Oghma Infinium from your inventory and press X to store.
4.Hit B to close and VERY QUICKLY press A again to bring up the bookshelf
menu before the book(s) spawns on it.
5.Press X to take all OIs on the shelf which closes the menu.
6.VERY QUICKLY press A before the book(s) disappear off the shelf and go
into your inventory. If you did it right it will zoom in on the OI like
it does every time you pick up a book.
7. Press A on the (do not read) option and your inventory should now have
1 more OI than before. Rinse and repeat for great justice!

ALSO WORTH NOTING: Do not have more than 1 OI in your inventory if you want
to read them for skill point bonuses, put the extras in a container or on the
floor. If you do and use 1, the game will think you've used the OI and delete
all the duplicates because the game thinks there is only supposed to be 1.
However you seem to be able to sell them without these problems.

Unlimited arrows of any type:
Find someone whom you can trade with, or someone who sleeps and uses an archery
practice target. For example, use Delphine at Sky Haven temple while sleeping.
Check his or her inventory and take all of their arrows. Place one arrow of the
type you want duplicated back on them (Daedric, Ebony, Glass). Wait a day and
watch them practice again. They will be shooting the arrow type you placed on
them. If you used someone you can trade with, look in their inventory for more
arrows. If not, wait for them to sit down or sleep to take more arrows.

Travel faster while over encumbered:
When over encumbered, and if there is not a strength potion or horse nearby, open
your "Items" menu and find the heaviest item you are carrying. Drop that item and
center the crosshair over the dropped item. Make sure to be within reach or sight
so that the item's name appears on-screen. Hold [Action] until the item's name is
removed from the screen. The item will now levitate and move in correspondence
with the camera. Note: This is easier to do in first-person view. Thus the item
can be "carried" in real time while not adding to your overall carry weight. This
is useful if you have an item that, if removed, would unhinder your movement but
cannot be parted with. Fast travelling, jumping or running over rough terrain, and
sudden camera interactions will disrupt the "levitation".

Sneak faster:
While in third-person view, empty your left hand and have a one-handed sword in
you right hand. Note: This can also be done with a two-handed weapon, a bow, or
with both hands empty. Crouch, then start moving forward. After one or two steps,
draw your sword (or raise your fists or other weapon). You will now be moving at
a speed equivalent to running normally, but remaining crouched, therefore "sneaking
quickly". Note: This trick does not seem to work if a spell or staff is equipped
in either hand. Also, if your consistent "flow" of movement is ceased or if you
attack or jump/fall (even slightly), regular sneaking speed will resume and the
technique will have to be repeated to re-attain faster sneaking.

Easy 100 Restoration Skill:
You need 2 spells for this: Equilibrium and any healing spell (preferably Fast Healing
or better). Cast Equilibrium which drains health for magic and keep healing yourself.
You will constantly lose health and never run out of magic so you can heal yourself

Infinite Torches:
In Embershed mine (the first you encounter after leaving Helgen) grab all the torches
off of their mounts then leave. When you re-enter the mine, the torches will have been
replaced. Stock up and keep them in your house for easy access.

Infinite Weight Limit:
Like in Fallout, containers are persistent and items do not disappear. So any barrel
or box or chest of some sort can be used to store your items. Best to use containers
near a quick travel loading location. Be careful, though. Skyrim is buggy, so while
your items shouldn't disappear when placed in a random barrel or chest, there's no
guarantee unless you purchase a house and store your items there.

Extra Perk Points:
When you reach the maximum level of 81, enter the player.setav block 15 code followed by
player.advskill 50000. Each time you do this, you will advance by two levels (adding 2 perk
points and allowing you to choose 10 extra points for Magicka, Health, or Stamina). Repeat
the process until you have the desired amount of Perk Points. Note: You can restore the
maximum level (and difficulty range) afterwards with the player.setlevel 81 code or any
other level or difficulty range.

20 Daedrea Hearts:
You to go to an inn. You can go to any inn if you want in the Whiterun region. They will
say something about the Shrine of Azura, its a quest. Its on top of a mountain. You do all
that you are asked until you get the Star of Azura then you bring it back to shrine. And
Azura should talk to you cast you into a realm of Oblivion to kill some guy. After you do
that you come across this guy or 2 you kill he will carry a Daedra heart. And then when
you kill him you have to use the ~ symbol on your keyboard and press it the game will
pause. And then click on his body after you press it and then type in "resurrect" he will
spring back to life. And then kill him again with the same techneique accept type in
"kill" he will die. And then loot him a again and he will carry 1 more Daedra heart.
Keep repeating this over and over again. And you should have about 20 or so Daedra hearts
But unfortantly you only have a 3 min or so to do this because after you kill the first
guy you only have a limited time to kill the other guy or 2. And then Azura will talk to
you and then a bright light will appear and you will teleported back to the shrine.

100 Archery skill:
You have to buy a horse, any horse will do. Then get your bow out start shooting it until
have half health, other wise it wont work. Then heal your horse, then shoot it some more.
hen your archery skill will go up.

How to get Daedric arrows:
* Go to Solitude and you see the blacksmith go to the store to the left of him and you notice
its a Fletcher. Go in shop for some arrows and you see he will have some Daedric arrows they
are expensive, about 24 gold each. You can only aqquire these at this shop at level 23 and

* Another way is to join the thieves guild in Riften. And do the quests there and then
eventually you come across a women named Karliah. When you have the chance to pick pocket
her. You see she has over 20 Daedric arrows.

-=The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Hearthfire=-
Hidden orphans:
Besides the Honorhall orphans there are several more orphans around Skyrim. One can be located
on Katla's farm.

* Lucia is begging in Windhelm on a bench near the tree. If you speak to her after giving her a
gold piece (and have a place she can stay), she will explain after her parents died her uncle
and aunt inherited the farm and kicked her out. You can then adopt her.
* Sofie is selling flowers in the area of Windhelp near the grey quarter, but not in it and with
nothing of relevant value there. She explains that her mother died giving birth and her father
was a Stormcloak who died. She now sells flowers just to eat.
* Baile is in Solitude Stables. He says that he sleeps with the horses and is generally taken
care of as long as he earns his keep, but it is not a real home.
* The last orphan is in Dawnstar.

Adopting children:
Talk to the Jarls steward if you want your children to live in Windhelm, Whiterun, Riften, or
Solitude and convert your alchemy lab into an bedroom for children. Otherwise, build children's
beds and children's dressers in your own personally designed house. Note: You should probably get
the bedroom wing, but if you really want one of the other wings check at your carpentry table
upstairs in the main hall to see if you can build children's beds there. You will need both a bed
and a dresser for them to move them in. Then, go to Riften orphanage and adopt up to two of the
four children.
Note: There is only one girl. You can also ask them about themselves to learn about how they
ended up at the orphanage.

Buying land:
You must become Thane (or at least liked) in Falkreath, Marthal, and Dawnstar. Talk to the Jarl
or their steward to buy land. The locations of your new land will show up on the map as settlement

Finding your stone quarry:
Stone quarries near your house can be difficult to find if you are not sure what you are looking
for. To find them easier, give Seranna a pickaxe and linger near sections of stone. She is
programmed to do any NPC activity available, including mining, enchanting, or just leaning.
She will begin imitating mining near a quarry. Alternately, look for a pickaxe near stone.

Hiring a steward:
You can hire any follower to be your steward except Seranna, who does not register as an actual
follower. Note: This allows you to conceivably have a spectral assassin, and immortal vampire, and
another follower on some missions. Take the follower to your house after the main hall is built
(including the cellar). They will say you have a nice house and it needs a fine steward. Hire them
if desired, then use them to fetch clay and stone to the chest outside, or sown logs to the log

Stock up on Iron and Corundum ingots. Iron is used for fittings, hinges, and nails which you will
use frequently in building, Corundum ingots and Iron ingots are used in making locks, which can be
used in making doors for the building, safes, chests, and generally anything that would lock.

-=Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Dawnguard=-
1. The Sultry Argonian Bard V.1 and Confessions of a Khajit Fur Trader:
Go all the way into the back of in Fort Dawnguard to find a cave. As you go through, you will find
two books in the two sections of the cave. The Sultry Argonian Bard V.1 is the opposite of the Lusty
Argonian Maid.

2. Saving NPCs
Start the Dawnguard missions as soon as possible because you may find yourself walking out of a store
only to have a nearby blacksmith or other NPC get murdered by vampires. Because shopkeepers do not
respawn, you might find yourself out of luck if you need supplies such as ingots.

Easy experience:
Use the following trick to get easy Conjuration, Destruction, weapons, and general experience. Have
is the novice level spell, Raise Zombie. This can be found in dungeons (from a spell tome) or can
be purchased. On any enemy you kill, for example a wolf or bandit that comes across your path, cast
the spell on the dead body. The corpse will become one of your followers (like a summoned creature)
for a limited amount of time. The "zombie" will have all their health back. You can then kill the
zombie (who will if damaged enough, fight back momentarily) for weapons or Destruction magic
experience. The creature will disintegrate once killed however, but you can still get their
possessions. This is useful if you are fighting in, for example, an ancestral tomb, and wish to
reanimate the Draughs you have slain for more experience. You will gain Conjuration experience for
using the spell, weapon or Destruction magic experience for killing the "zombie" and general
experience for both these actions.

How to Skip the Intro Quest Using the Console:
Written by Freddan

This is the quickest way for testing new mods, or simply starting a new game without having to
play through the intro sequence and the tutorial quest.

* Launch the Skyrim and make sure you are on the main menu.
* Open the console in the main menu using the tilde key, ('), or the section key (§) for europeans.
* Enter the following code: coc Riverwood. This will teleport you to Riverwood as a default Nord.
* Open your inventory and take off the iron helmet to reveal your face.
* Open the console again and type the following code: ShowRaceMenu and create a character.
* Finish the character creation as you usually would and press the R key to free your hands.
* To initiate the main questline open the console one last time and type: SetStage MQ102 30.

Three side effects of this method is you won't be able to complete the tutorial quest Unbound,
and to perhaps some the good news is Helgen will survive the dragon attack as we bypass that
sequence entirely. If you return to Helgen you will only find the imperials and stormcloaks have
murdered eachother making it a ghost town with only a few civilians still walking around doing
nothing. And the third is by bypassing Unbound you will not be able to get introduced to the
Civil War by Hadvar or Ralof. You will still meet them later on depending on what faction to

I have not tested yet if this mess up the Kyne's Sacred Trials quest as Gunnar Stone-Eye and
Haming will still hang around Helgen.

Report Leifnarr's Death to His Family (Buggerd Quest):
Report Leifnarr's death to his family is a miscellaneous bugged quest, so it cant be
completed. There are two possible solutions.

-=What to Do to Actually Complet the Mission=-
You must talk to Grosta, Leifnarr's wife, before finding his dead body, so mission is
activated before that happens.

If it is too later, write after pressing "~" (to open console) SetStage E3EA5 30?, it
is important that you press spacebar between E3EA5 and 30. This cheat will make you able
to talk Grosta about his husband death, it does not complete the mission.
It fix the bug completely!

-=Where to Find Leifnarr's Family=-
You can find Leifnarr's family here, in the samwill located at the west of Riften.
I hope this helped you, this bug is very common, and many people had complained
about that.

Child Gifting Guide:
Written by TheAlphaPigeon

This is a guide containing a list of objects you can give to your children.

-=Gift List=-
Dagger (any)
Wooden Sword
Child's Doll (girl only)
Girl's Dress (various colors)
Boy's Tunic (various colors)
The Yellow Book of Riddles
The Red Book of Riddles
Kolb and the Dragon
A Children's Anuad
Apple Pie
Honey Nut Treat
Boiled Creme Treat
Green/Red Apple
Long Taffy Treat
Homecooked Meal
Snowberry Crostata
Apple Dumpling
Elsweyr Fondu

This list is not complete and contains items that are found within the Skyrim:
Hearthfire DLC. Children also do not accept gifts that have been stolen. The
Hearthfire DLC added a number of sweets to give your children so if you're cooking,
if it's a pastry assume it could be gifted and give it a try.

-=Gift Acquisition=-
Not everyone knows where to find gifts for their children, and the only gifts that
can be made are food items and various daggers. This is a list of shops/locations
where you are likely to find gifts. Wooden swords/daggers can be found under weapons,
while dolls and child clothing is found in MISC.

General Stores - There is a general store in every major hold (whiterun, markarth,
riftin, windhelm, solitude) and it's possible to purchase a variety of gifts provided
they're available in the shop inventory.

Khajiit Caravan - The caravans have a high chance of selling toys (swords/dolls).

Dressers/chests/similar containers - Even in a bandit den be sure to check all the
dressers and wardrobes, as there's a chance you'll find a dress/tunic and a toy or

Radiant Raiment - In Solitude, this shop provides child clothes regularly.

Households with children - Anywhere books in general are located is good but
households that have kids are more likely to also have children's books on their
shelves. They're also more likely to have sweets.

Wealthy homes - it's important you befriend these people so it's not stealing as
a child won't take stolen gifts, but wealthier locations tend to have more sweets
available for the taking.

How to Fix Civil War Reporting In For Duty Not Appearing:
Written by Fazazer

This guide shows you how to fix the very common civil war glitch, where reporting
in to either Galmar or Rikke does not show you the "reporting in for duty" text

-=What to Do=-

So, if you are doing the Skyrim civil war quest, for either side and you report in for
duty to either Galmar, or Rikke and you are not getting the option to advance the quest
line, the "reporting in for duty" text option. do this.

It is quite simple really.

If you are not getting it. leave the camp, go to either Windhelm, or Solitude and speak
to General Tullius, or Ulfric (depending on which side you are on in the civil war), and
speak to them, ask them "how goes the war?" and keep asking them until the text option
appears grey, it takes usually three times. Go back to the camp, and you should have to
option to report in for duty.

Pretty simple, but here is still an example:

* Is playing for Imperials in Civil War.
* Has to report in to Legate Rikke for order.
* Goes to camp, no text option to recieve orders.
* Fast travels to solitude and goes to general tullius.
* Asks general tullius "how goes the war" until the text option is grey.
* Goes back to camp where Legate Rikke is.
* Can now get orders.

Where to Find and How to Successfully Defeat a Dragon Priest:
Written by Wednesday

-=Locations and Technique=-
Locations of named Dragon Priests, names not included to avoid spoiling everything.
I'm spoiling enough. Valthume, Shearpoint, Labyrinthian, Skuldafn, Ragnvald, Forelhost,
High Gate Ruins and Volskygge. To start off, we all know Dragon Priests are classified
as a very powerful Dragur. They are expert level mages and can do a huge amount of
damage if you aren't prepared. My recommendations to you is to follow my tips exactly,
you'll be glad you did.

1: Healing spells or healing potions. They'll come in very handy if you have lower HP.
2: A strong reliable weapon. Bows work to a extent. I recommend improving it at a
blacksmith. (Do Not Use Ancient Nord Weapons!) Use them in case of emergencies.
3: If you are a mage make sure you have magicka potions, as for warriors stamina potions.
4: Potions that increase effectiveness with a skill etc.
5: Reliable armor that's been improved, higher level mage robes.
6: A follower. They're there to distract the Priest.
7: If you are a mage you need a Ward spell and some form of projectile such as Firebolt.
8: Save your game before you fight the Priest. If you are a inexperienced fighter this
   is Rule #1.
9: If the priest has Thralls, pay little attention to them. If you kill the Priest first,
   the thralls will die.
10: Plan out a quick strategy of your own. It'll help.
11: Do not allow the Priest to create distance from you. If the Priest does this, he'll
use his projectile expert level destruction spells that'll end the battle very quickly.
I know it may sound unwise but run in and get close to the Priest and tear him apart.
That's usually more successful than using spells from afar in my experience.

Lastly, there is no such thing as being too prepared for a battle with a Dragon Priest.

Tips for Starting The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with 100 Sneak Skill:
Written by Hermes

When you reach the part of the game with the bear at the beginning, instead of exiting
the area, sneak up to Ralof or Hadvar (depending on your choice) and use a dagger or
other one-handed weapon to perform sneak attacks.

Continue to sneak attack Ralof or Hadvar repeatedly to level up your sneak skill. Each
successful sneak attack will increase your sneak skill.

You can do this for about 20 minutes to reach 100 sneak skill or take as much time as
you need throughout the day. It’s entirely up to you how quickly you want to max out
your sneak skill.

Be cautious not to lower Ralof’s or Hadvar’s health too much, as it may have consequences
for the game’s storyline. Their health will gradually regenerate, so you can take breaks
between attacks to avoid accidentally causing their death.

This method can be a fun way to start the game with high sneak skill, allowing you to be
more stealthy and effective in your adventures in Skyrim.
